Improving the Performance through Mental Health and Discipline of Indonesian Air Force Members
No full textThis study aims to analyze the influence of mental health, ability, and discipline on the performance of members at Adi Soemarmo Air Base in Solo. The background of this study is based on the importance of human resource quality in military organizations that demand simultaneous physical, psychological, and moral readiness. Optimal performance is not only determined by technical ability, but also by an individual's mental condition and level of discipline. This study uses a quantitative approach with a census method on the entire population of 87 members of the Adi Soemarmo Air Base. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 25.0. The results showed that simultaneously, the variables of mental health, ability, and discipline had a significant effect on member performance. Partially, these three variables also had a positive and significant effect on performance. Of the three independent variables, work discipline is the most dominant factor affecting performance, with the highest regression coefficient of 0.269. This finding confirms that discipline is a significant factor in shaping effective and efficient work behavior in a military environment. In addition, stable mental health enables members to work productively, manage stress, and contribute positively to the team and organization. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of strengthening mental coaching programs and continuous work discipline training to improve the professionalism and performance of Indonesian Air Force soldiers. This study also provides a theoretical contribution to the development of human resource management in military organizations by highlighting the synergy between psychological aspects, competence, and discipline as the main determinants of performance

But it should be realized that a change in behavior is very dependent on one's perception (teachers) about the purpose and benefits of teachers certification policy.Furthermore, the perception will color the whole implementation process of teacher certification. The aim is to describe and analyse the perceptions and behavior change certified teachers. No full textThe purpose and target of this study was to describe the efforts of the principal to improve the professional competence of teachers in Public Elementary School No. 162/I Bukit Sari Village, Maro Sebo District. The aspects studied included the efforts of the principal to improve teacher professional competence, as well as inhibiting factors. The author uses a qualitative approach and chooses the type of case study. The principal is a subject. The principal and teacher are the data sources used as sources of information. Data collection uses interview techniques and documentation studies. Analyzing data is done by reviewing, data reduction, presenting data, and verifying data to then draw conclusions. The technique of checking the validity of the data using source triangulation. The results of this study explain that the efforts of principals to improve teacher professional competencies are by implementing a coaching process and involving teachers in various educational activities and training, seminars, workshops, and Teacher Working Groups. The obstacles are: 1) Teachers and schools have difficulty accessing information because the internet connection or network is very slow. 2) There are still some teachers who do not understand the concept of interrelationship between subjects. Based on the results of the study it is recommended that: 1) The principal must be more active in developing all teaching staff. 2) Immediately resolve the problem of internet network connection and fulfill other supporting facilities. 3) Teachers must be able to use various learning methods.Â

No full textABSTRACT"Learning Text Writing Skills for Students in Class V by Using the Inquiry Learning Method with the setting Mind Mapping Technique ". Students still find it difficult to use the correct grammar and tenses, and they also lack ideas and are not interested in writing. The teacher also found it difficult to find explanation text teaching techniques to improve students' writing skills. This study aims to describe (1) the scenario and implementation of learning to write explanation texts for fifth grade students using the inquiry learning method with the setting mind mapping technique; (2) the fifth grade students' responses to learning to write explanation texts using the inquiry learning method with the setting mind mapping technique; (3) what difficulties experienced by the fifth grade elementary school students in completing explanation text writing assignments. This qualitative descriptive study consisted of four components, namely tests, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The subjects of students in the VC grade at SDN I Cipeundeuy . In collecting data used test and non-test techniques. Based on the results of research on 30 students it is known that the average skill of students in writing explanatory texts is 76.63 out of a total score of 100 with a conversion value of 3.04 or predicate B. The results of research on students' explanatory text writing skills are based on aspects of content, organization, vocabulary, use of language, and mechanics is good. However, students still find it difficult to develop sentences from existing ideas. In addition, students still often make mistakes in writing the contents and structure of the text. The author wants to suggest the teacher to use the inquiry learning method with the setting mind mapping technique in teaching writing explanation texts, because the method can promote fun expressions in writing, so that it gets greater participation among students.  Kata Kunci: Explanation text , Inquiry Learning Method , Mind Mapping Technique.                                                                     ABSTRAKâ€Pembelajaran Keterampilan Menulis Teks Eksplanasi Pada Siswa Kelas V dengan Menggunakan Metode Inquiry Learning dengan setting Mind Mapping Techniqueâ€. Siswa masih menemukan kesulitan untuk menggunakan tata bahasa dan bentuk kata yang benar, dan mereka juga kekurangan ide dan tidak tertarik untuk menulis. Guru juga menemukan kesulitan untuk menemukan teknik mengajar teks eksplanasi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsi (1) skenario dan implementasi pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas v dengan menggunakan metode inquiry learning dengan setting mind mapping technique; (2) respon siswa kelas v terhadap pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi dengan menggunakan metode inquiry learning dengan setting mind mapping technique; (3) kesulitan – kesulitan apa yang dialami siswa SD kelas v dalam menyelesaikan tugas – tugas menulis teks eksplanasi. Penelitian desktiptif kualitatif ini terdiri dari empat komponen, yaitu tes, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VC SDN I Cipeundeuy. Dalam pengumpulan data digunakan teknik tes dan nontes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terhadap 30 siswa diketahui keterampilan rata – rata siswa dalam menulis teks eksplanasi adalah 76,63 dari skor total 100 dengan nilai konversi 3,04 atau predikat B. Hasil penelitian tentang keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa berdasarkan aspek isi, organisasi, kosakata, penggunaan bahasa, dan mekanik adalah Baik. Namun, siswa masih kesulitan untuk mengembangkan kalimat dari ide yang sudah ada. Selain itu, siswa masih sering melakukan kesalahan dalam penulisan isi dan struktur teks. Penulis ingin menyarankan guru untuk menggunakan metode inquiry learning dengan setting mind mapping technique dalam mengajar menulis teks eksplanasi, karena metode ini dapat mempromosikan ekspresi yang menyenangkan dalam menulis, sehingga mendapat partisipasi yang lebih besar di antara siswa.Kata kunci: Teks Eksplanasi , Metode Inquiry learning, Mind Mapping Technique

No full text Choose the candidate's wife, means choosing someone who is expected to become a friend of life, someone who can be associates to become a mother of a child in the future. The selection of a wife who undertaken by the male, usually defined by choosing a candidate who can be thanks to all and accept any deficiencies, based on an idea that a male would choose a spouse who can complete the necessary requirements. There is currently no benchmark in selecting prospective wife sholihah making it difficult to determine the criteria for prospective wife sholihah. Therefore, it needed a decision support system that would later help parties concerned in determining the spouse, so the results are effective and efficient. In the design of decision support system required a method used for calculating the value of the value of the desired criteria. The methods that will be used in this system is a method of Technique For Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Based on the research that has been done by the author, shows that the system provides convenience for the user to choose a prospective wife sholihah, and this system is capable of helping the user to specify criteria for the candidate's wife sholihah. TOPSIS method for testing showed that of the 10 samples, the highest ranking value Basmah Nur Habibah 0.8683 value using TOPSIS method.

No full textHNJ Tofu Factory is one of the processing industry sectors that produces raw white tofu made from soybeans. The appearance of several problems faced, such as improper business strategy management and tends to be monotonous has resulted into inconsistencies in tofu production and sales which are less significant. The purpose of this research is to optimize the development of business potential by providing HNJ Tofu Factory business model strategy so it can create new value to maintain its business. In this study, the author uses the Business Model Canvas approach to map the business model of the HNJ Tofu Factory and evaluates it using SWOT analysis. The method used in this research is a case study method with a qualitative method and data collection techniques are carried out using observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the research results HNJ Tofu Factory must: (1) Maintaining the price, quality and taste of the tofu products sold, (2) Improving the service and relationships provided to regular and potential customers, (3) Increasing the number of variations of tofu products sold, (4) Increasing the value selling by adding brand labels and packaging, (5) Improving operational management in the business, (6) Adding promotional activities via social media, (7) Improving good and stable pricing strategies, (8) Maintaining good relationships with distributors and customers, (9) Increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes, (10) Increasing sales with website and e-commerce services, (11) Establishing cooperative relationships with government.UMKM Pabrik Tahu HNJ merupakan salah satu bidang industri pengolahan yang memproduksi tahu putih mentah berbahan dasar kedelai. Munculnya beberapa kendala dan masalah yang dihadapi seperti manajemen strategi bisnis yang kurang optimal dan cenderung monoton mengakibatkan adanya inkonsistensi jumlah volume produksi dan penjualan tahu yang kurang signifikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan pengembangan potensi bisnis dengan memberikan model bisnis UMKM Pabrik Tahu HNJ agar dapat menciptakan nilai tambah baru untuk mempertahankan bisnisnya. Pada studi ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan Business Model Canvas untuk memetakan model bisnis dari Pabrik Tahu HNJ dan mengevaluasinya menggunakan analisis SWOT. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian tersebut adalah metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa Pabrik Tahu HNJ perlu:(1) Mempertahankan harga, kualitas, dan cita rasa dari produk tahu yang dijual, (2) Meningkatkan kembali pelayanan dan hubungan yang diberikan kepada pelanggan tetap dan pelanggan potensial, (3) Meningkatkan jumlah variasi produk tahu yang dijual, (4) Meningkatkan nilai jual dengan menambahkan label merek dan kemasan, (5) Meningkatkan manajemen operasional di bisnis, (6) Menambahkan kegiatan promosi melalui media sosial, (7) Meningkatkan strategi penetapan harga dengan baik dan stabil, (8) Menjaga hubungan baik dengan para distributor dan pelanggan, (9) Meningkatkan efektifitas sekaligus efisiensi terhadap proses bisnis, (10) Meningkatkan penjualan dengan layanan website dan e-commerce, (11) Melakukan hubungan kerja sama dengan pihak dinas pemerintahan
Isolation and enzyme bioprospection of bacteria associated to Bruguiera cylindrica, a mangrove plant of North Sumatra, Indonesia
No full textMangrove-associated bacteria are of industrial interest due to their diverse and versatile enzyme properties. This study investigates the culturable bacteria from a wide range of habitat in a Bruguiera cylindrica mangrove ecosystem in North Sumatra. Screening of extracellular hydrolytic enzymes showed multiple potential traits in amylase, cellulase, chitinase, phosphatase, protease, and urease production by bacterial isolates. Molecular identification based on 16S rDNA region of a potential strain, Vibrio alginolyticus Jme3−20 is then reported as a newly proteolytic agent. The strain also showed a stable growth under salinity (NaCl) stress with considerable phosphate solubilization activities. Protease activity was enhanced by optimizing the 0.5 % (w/v) sucrose and soy peptone in the fermentation medium. SDS-PAGE and zymogram analysis showed the presence of a 35-kDa MW protease. Hence, our study revealed important insights into the bacterial diversity and activity in mangrove ecosystems, evidencing the importance of microbial exploration in this ecosystem.Peer reviewe
