Reader Response Analysis in Hanya Yanagihara’s Novel Alittle Life
This thesis aims to analyze readers’ reactions to the plot of the novel, sensitive topics
in the novel, and the way the author evokes readers’ imagination. The opportunity to
analyze the novel from the viewpoint of the readers is presented by the positives and
drawbacks noted by readers on social media. Fish’s theory with the name of Reader-
Response theory in an interpretive community is then applied in this research. The
participants of this study were six readers who actively joined a book discussion over
social media. In conducting this study, qualitative research design with research
instruments in the form of Google Form questionnaire was employed. The result of
this study shows that, generally, the readers expect an emotional and sad story from
the novel and their expectations of the plot are fulfilled by the author. Nevertheless,
there is a contrasting opinion in reaction to sensitive topics, such as self-harm and
sexual abuse. These pros and cons opinions from the readers also represent the
novel’s discussion and reviews on social media. The result implies that the novel’s
tragic and melodramatic story is the appeal of the novel itself, as the plot invites the
readers to create mixed reactions that influence the novel’s popularity on social media
when they review it.66 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
Profile of Intravenous Preparation Mixing in Patients at the Regional General Hospital's Intensive Care Unit Abdoel Wahab Sjahranie Samarinda
Compatibility is one of the quality characteristics of intravenous (IV) preparations that influences the effectiveness of patient therapy in the intensive care Unit (ICU). This study aimed to determine the compatibility profile of IV medication formulations given to ICU patients. This prospective observational research was undertaken on patients in the ICU of a private hospital in Samarinda. The data on the intravenous combination of drugs were compared in this study utilizing the ASHP Injectable Drug Information literature 21st edition, Injectable drug guide, and Manual Book. Injectable Drug Mixing was published in 2009 as a resource for determining the compatibility of intravenous formulations. Using certain criteria, combinations of intravenous medicines and their solvents are classed as compatible (C), incompatible (I), and unknown (U). The ICU had 25 patients, 15 of whom were male, and 10 of them were female. There is no mixing of drug compounds containing incompatible solvents. All drugs were carried out with 100% compatible solvents. The limited information related to the compatibility and stability of these intravenous preparations encourages continuous monitoring of the patient's condition and drug levels
The Application of Delon and McLean Method and End User Computing Satisfaction to Analyze User Satisfaction of Mobile Banking Applications
The purpose of this study is to identify the variables that affect users' satisfaction with mobile banking apps. This study was carried out with a quantitative methodology. Users of mobile banking apps make up the study's demographic. Purposive sampling was used to choose 200 samples with active user criteria, ensuring that the participants in the study who answered the questionnaire were actual users of the mobile banking app. After that, analysis was done with Smart-PLS software and the PLS-SEM technique based on outer and inner models and demographics. It is possible to draw the conclusion that, in general, consumers are happy with the mobile banking application based on the discussion's outcomes. The variables content, accuracy, convenience of use, timeliness, system quality, information quality, and service quality that affect user satisfaction with the mobile banking application are the subject of seven recognized theories. One hypothesis is found to be false. This indicates that consumer happiness is unaffected by the variable. According to the study's findings, in order to keep users of the mobile banking app satisfied, it is imperative to maintain or enhance the system's quality, information quality, convenience of use, timeliness, content, and service quality
