Pengaruh latihan bosu ball pistol squats dan single leg RDL with press terhadap keseimbangan atlet poomsae taekwondo
Full text linkPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan bosu ball pistol squats dan single leg RDL with press terhadap keseimbangan atlet poomsae Taekwondo dan sebagai inovasi dan masukan untuk pelatih taekwondo dalam latihan keseimbangan pada poomsae Taekwondo. Penelitian ini menggunakan quasi eksperimen Two Groups Pretest-Posttest Design, dengan membagi menjadi dua kelompok, kelompok A dengan perlakuan latihan bosu ball pistol squats, sedangkan untuk kelompok B dengan latihan single leg RDL with press. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan dari atlet poomsae UKM Universitas PGRI Semarang dengan total populasi 30 orang. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling dan sampel yang terpilih berjumlah 16 orang atlet putra dengan pembagian sampel secara ordinal pairing. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes keseimbangan menggunakan Balance Measuring Instrument. Analisis data mengunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji t. Hasil pengujian data menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yaitu peningkatan keseimbangan pada kelompok bosu ball pistol squats dengan peningkatan 37.97%, dengan signifikasi pada kelompok bosu ball pistol squats dengan t hitung 11.237> 2.36 (t-tabel). Hasil kelompok dengan latihan single leg RDL with press memperlihatkan peningkatan sebesar 31.21%, dengan t hitung 5.835> 2.36 (t-tabel). Metode latihan bosu ball pistol squats lebih baik daripada metode latihan single leg RDL with press dalam meningkatkan keseimbangan atlet poomsae taekwondo

The Purpose of the research are: 1.) To know the description of compensation and
work environment toward job satisfaction of PT X employees. 2.) To determine the
influence of compensation on job satisfaction of PT X employees. 3.) To determine
the influence of work environment on job satisfaction of PT X employees. This
study uses descriptive analysis and explanation. The method used is Partial Least
Square (PLS), using SmartPLS software to process it. The sample in this study
used 92 employees from a total of 120 employees of PT X. The results of this study
reveal that: (1) Compensation has a positive and significant influence on job
satisfaction of PT X employees. (2) The work environment has a positive and
significant influence on job satisfaction of PT X employees.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis isi iklan televisi yang menggunakan klaim hijau dengan metode analysis isi. Variabel yang dianalisis didalam penelitian ini adalah produk yang diiklankan, karakteristik tayangan video iklan, sifat pesan iklan, dan klaim hijau. Iklan yang dianalisis adalah iklan yang diunggah di TVCOnair pada periode 1 November 2012 hingga 31 Desember 2012. Iklan tersebut dievaluasi menggunakan Undang-Undang Perlindungan Konsumen Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 (UUPK) dan Etika Pariwara Indonesia (EPI) atau Tata Krama dan Tata Cara Periklanan Indonesia (TKTCPI). Berdasarkan evalusai dan kesesuaian dengan tayangan iklan dengan Etika Pariwara Indonesia (EPI) atau Tata Krama dan Tata Cara Periklanan Indonesia (TKTCPI) dan Undang-Undang Perlindungan Konsumen, ada 4 tayangan iklan yang memenuhi Undang-Undang Perlindungan Konsumen, ada 29 tayangan iklan yang memenuhi Etika Pariwara Indonesia (EPI) atau Tata Krama dan Tata Cara Periklanan Indonesia (TKTCPI), dan ada 7 tayangan iklan yang sudah memenuhi Undang-Undang Perlindungan Konsumen dan Etika Pariwara Indonesia (EPI) atau Tata Krama dan Tata Cara Periklanan Indonesia (TKTCPI). Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar tipe klaim hijaunya berorentasi produk (61,67%). Hasil penelitian ini harapannya negara selaku pemerintah lebih tegas dan ketat dalam memberlakukan, mengawasi, dan mengontrol pelaksanaan Undang-Undang Perlindungan Konsumen Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 (UUPK) dan Etika Pariwara Indonesia (EPI).FEBRIKA SETIYAWAN. Content Analysis of Green Claims in Television Advertisements. Supervised by UJANG SUMARWAN. The aim of this study was to analyze the contents of television advertisements which use green claim using content analysis method. There are four variables which been analyzed, kind of product, characteristics of television advertisements, and green claims. Analyzed advertisement took from TVCOnair in a perioed from November 1st 2012 until December 31st 2012. Furthermore, those advertisements evaluated by Undang-undang Perlindungan Konsumen Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 (UUPK) and Etika Pariwara Indonesia (EPI). An evaluation shows that there are only 4 advertisements fulfilled Undang-undang Perlindungan Konsumen’s advertising standards, 29 advertisements fulfilled Etika Pariwara Indonesia’s advertising standards and only 7 advertisements fulfilled both standards. Descriptive analysis showed that most of them type of green claim’s are product oriented (61,67%)
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
Full text linkWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
