    Indonesia merupakan negara penghasil minyak sawit terbesar di seluruh dunia, sekaligus sebagai penghasil limbah cair pabrik kelapa sawit (LCPKS) terbesar di dunia juga. Selama ini LCPKS ditangani secara sederhana dengan sistem kolam. Hal ini menyebabkan pencemaran lingkungan seperti bau tidak sedap, mencemari sumber air, menghasilkan gas rumah kaca. Di sisi lain LCPKS meruapakan sumber energi alternatif yang potensial jika dikonversi menjadi gas methan. Tujuan makalah ini adalah melakukan analisis potensi energi yang dihasilkan dan potensi pengurangan gas rumah kaca di Provinsi Lampung. Metode yang digunakan berdasarkan servey, analisis laboratorium, dan studi pustaka yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jika semua LCPKS di Provinsi Lampung dikonversi menjadi gas methan akan dihasilkan energi listrik sebesar 5.41 MW dan pengurangan gas rumah kaca sebesar 242.720 ton greenhouse gas emission (CO2e). Keywords: LCPKS, GRK, gas metana, biogas

    EFEKTIFITAS DOSIS KHLORINASI AIR BERSIH UNTUK MENURUNKAN JUMLAH KUMAN COLI ( Penelitian di Kelompok Pemakai Air Bersih Muji Sarono Mulyo Desa Winong Kecamatan Boyolali )

    Penduduk Desa Winong Kecamatan Boyolali sebagian besar menggunakan mata air yang diambil dari sistem perpipaan. Air bersih yang dikonsumsi penduduk mengandung kuman coli melebihi persyaratan bakteriologis Per Men Kes RI Nomor 416/Menkes/IX/1990 tentang syarat-syarat dan pengawasan kualitas air untuk sistem perpipaan adalah < 10 koloni/100 ml. sampel air sisa khlor 0,2-0,5 ppm. Dari data di Puskesmas tahun 2004 dari 5 titik sampel yang diambil kandungan kuman coli sebesar 2400 koloni/ 100 ml air sampel. Sehubungan dengan kondisi tersebut penulis melakukan penelitian experimen untuk menentukan dosis optimal dan mengkaji efektifitasnya terhadap angka kuman coli pada air bersih Muji Sarono Mulyo. Penulis mencoba menurunkan angka kuman coli dengan menambahkan Kaporit 60 % ke dalam sampel air secara pot chlorin dengan dosis yang ebrvariasi yaitu 15 mg/lt, 15,5 mg/lt, 16 mg/lt. 16,5 mg/lt dan 17 mg/lt serta mencari dosis yang optimal untuk menurunkan angka kuman coli dengan 5 kali pengambilan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh dosis 16 mg/lt kaporit 60 % mampu menurunkan angka kuman coli menjadi 5,4 koloni/100 ml air sampel dan sisa khlor bebas sebesar 0,17 mg/lt. Dari hasil uji statistik dengan kruskall wallis diperoleh hubungan yang bermakna antara penambahan berbagai dosis kapori 60 % dengan F hitung 17,348 (p=0,05) dan uji LSD didapatkan dosis optimal 16,5 mg/lt dengan p=0,038. Namun demikian diharapkan kelompok pemakai air bersih Muji Sarono Mulyo memakai dosis 16,5 mg/lt sisa chlor 0,22 mg/lt untuk khlorinasi air bersihnya. So, spring water which consumed by resident contain coli germ exceed term conditions of Bacteriologies of Permenkes RI No. 416/Menkes/ Per/IX/1990 about the water quality conditions and observation that is for wellspring with people sistem < 10 coloni/ 100 ml from existing data in local puskesmas 2004, diare diseases. Occupies third level of ten big diseases in this area. Beside that, from the inspection reasult of health office laboratory, from given 5 point sample contain coli germ showing number 2400 coloni/100 ml. Its man all member of Muji Sarono Mulyo clean water group are using in pure wellspring. Due to the conditions above, the writer have done experimen reaserch to counting the various defferent chlorine dosage to decreasing amount of coli germ, determining efectiv descresing amount of coli, to knowing what research, the writer have done experiment with giving treatment to research objec for decreasing coli germ with adding the variuos chlorine dosage of 60 % intio water sampling by chloring pot with adding the various dosagethat are 15 mg/lt,15,5 mg/lt 16 mg/lt, 16,5 mg/ltand 17 mg/lt. From the reaserch of the statistic with one track Kruscall Walls test is obtained significant relation between adition of 60 % chlorine in various dosage with F count=17.348 (p=0,02) and LSD p=0,038.     Optimasi Penggunaan Asap Cair pada Pengawetan Bakso Filler Roti

    Sweet bread is a very popular food in Indonesia and the quality is largely determined by the filler used. Today, the bread is very varied filler that are the fruit aroma to chopped meatballs. The meatballs as a filler of sweet bread can only self life for no longer than 2 days, therefore it needs a preservation effort. One of technical preservation was application of liquid smoke. The research objective was to characterize of the meatballs as filler and of liquid smoke of coconut cell and to know the effect of concentration of liquid smoke to self life of sweet bread filled meatballs in storage. The results showed that dipping the meatballs in a liquid smoke was lowered taste, but only slightly affected the color, surface mucus, texture, and preference until the third day. The higher concentration of liquid smoke was the lower of total microbes in the meatball during storage. Liquid smoke was not advisable as a preservative in bread balls for sweet bread filler, because the concentration of smoke liquid 2% only decreased the bread taste.     Bread can be found in various food outlets as bakeries, departement stores, stalls, vending sellers or canteens of school and campus. In Bandar Lampung, some bread is produced by small units of bakery either by individual or joint business. The research is aimed at learning some problems of product marketing and some aspects significantly influencing the marketing strategyof the new campus bakery. The research shows that the internal factor evaluation analysis value was at 2,564 that indicate medium value, while the external factor evaluation analysis was at 2,265 which indicate medium value. The internal-external analysis shows that the bakery was at V position, strategy can do in these conditions is market penetration and product development. Strength, weaknesses, oppourtunities, and threats analysis found that the bakery apply 11 businnes strategies developed based on the internal factors – the strengt and weaknesses – as well as the external factors – the opportunities and threat.     Analisis Jalur dan Biaya Pemasaran Jamur Merang Tankos di Provinsi Lampung

    Budidaya jamur merang dari tandan kosong kelapa sawit (tankos) di Provinsi Lampung berkembang cukup baik. Hal ini karena adanya permintaan pasar yang tinggi dan ketersediaan bahan baku yang melimpah dan murah, sehingga menjadikan usaha jamur merang dari tankos lebih kompetitif dibandingkan dengan jamur merang dari merang dan jerami padi. Tujuan penenilitan adalah analisis jalur-jalur pemasaran dan biaya yang dikeluarkan terkait pemasaran jamur merang dari tankos di Provinsi Lampung. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui survey dan indeep interview, dengan responden pemilik usaha, karyawan, supplier, dan pedagang pertama, pedagang pengecer jamur merang tankos. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya ditabelkan dan ditampilkan secara grafis serta dinarasikan agar mudah dipahami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) jalur pemasaran jamur merang dari tankos ada tiga yaitu jalur panjang (produsen - pedagang pertama - pedagang pengecer - konsumen); jalur sedang (produsen - pedagang pengecer - konsumen); dan jalur pendek (produsen - konsumen) dan (2) pelaku usaha jamur merang tankos yang paling untung adalah produsen jamur merang tankos, sedangkan yang paling beresiko tetapi potensi keuntungan tertinggi adalah pedagang pertama

    THE EFFECT OF PRESERVATION METHODS ON THE STORAGE OF YELLOW PUMPKIM PUREE

    Puree is a fruit paste with a moisture content of about 60% of the process of steaming and crushing the fruit or often called a ready-to-cook (RTC) product. One of the problems of this puree is that high moisture content causes the puree to easily be damaged. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of storage temperature, addition of sugar, the use of ammonium benzoate to shelf life of pumpkin puree. Treatment of the study were (1) Addition of sugar with level 20%; 30%; 40%; and 50%, (2) addition of sodium benzoate, with level 1,000 ppm, 2,000 ppm, 3,000 ppm, and (3) storage temperature, with room temperature level and cool box. The results showed that (1) Storage at cold temperatures (0-5oC) was more effective to increase shelf life of yellow pumpkin puree compared with addition of sugar and use of ammonium benzoate preservatives, (2), sugar addition to 30% less effective for prolonging life keep the pumpkin puree, (3) The addition of ammonium benzoate to 3,000 ppm can improve the shelf life of the yellow pumpkin puree

    Automated Extraction of Shoreline in Tuban Regency, East Java from Google Earth Imagery by Integrating Canny Edge Detector

    Garis pantai merupakan wilayah yang menjadi pembatas antara daratan dengan lautan serta mengalami perubahan morfologi dari waktu ke waktu. Wilayah ini memiliki kondisi yang sangat dinamis dimana berbagai komponen (udara, bebatuan, air) saling berhubungan. Analisis garis pantai multitemporal menjadi salah satu parameter penting untuk monitoring kawasan pantai. Informasi tersebut dapat digunakan untuk pemodelan morfodinamik, pengelolaan kawasan pesisir dan studi erosi dan akresi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perubahan garis pantai di Pesisir Utara Kabupaten Tuban, Jawa Timur menggunakan Algoritma Canny dan Citra Google Earth tahun 2000 hingga 2020. Algoritma Canny dipilih karena sudah teruji menghasilkan tepi yang tajam dan baik dibandingkan dengan algoritma deteksi tepi yang lain. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa di Pesisir Utara Kabupaten Tuban, berdasarkan sampel tahun yang diambil, garis pantai wilayah tersebut mengalami erosi sebesar 0,297 - 1,566 meter/ lima tahun. Tepi yang dihasilkan dengan algoritma Canny sangat membantu dalam proses interpretasi garis pantai dan membuat analisis menjadi lebih cepat. Kedepannya, perlu adanya elaborasi lebih mendalam mengenai penggunaan citra Google Earth dalam analisis garis pantai, khususnya pada koreksi geometriknya (Georeference).     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
