This book, Cell/Tissue Culture Research and Technology from Islamic Perspective, deals and discusses on issues pertaining to the applications of cell and tissue culture in the light of the advancements made in modern technology, particularly in biotechnology and nanotechnology. To dissect the many topics pertaining to this matter, the book is divided into 10 chapters.
In Chapter 1, which is entitled, “Integration of Islamic Principles in Modern Science: Its Philosophy and Method”, Ibrahim A. Shogar, the writer, gives an in depth explanation of the approaches used by scholars, jurists and scientists of this modernized world in order to integrate Islamic principles in science and technology. He explains the many challenges that have, and will, be faced by Muslims in order to achieve Islamic integration in modern science, taking into account the opinions of old and new Muslim scholars. Through the philosophies and methods presented, the aim of showing the steady progression of Islamic integration in the promising field of science and technology is achieved.
In Chapter 2, “Cell and Tissue Culture: An Overview”, Mohammad Syaiful Bahari Abdull Rasad and his co-author, focuses upon the basic requirements and arrangements that are necessary for the purpose of setting up, or working, in a cell/tissue culture laboratory. Brief explanations of protocols, equipment handling and maintenance are also incorporated into this chapter with the aim of exposing readers on the various regulations and equipment needed in a culture laboratory. A concise elucidation on a collection of cell lines is provided as an introductory towards the types of cells/tissues that can be found cultured in a normal cell/tissue culture laboratory. Overall, readers should have a fundamental understanding of the setup and requirements of a cell/tissue culture laboratory.
Rahmatul Wahida Ahmad, in Chapter 3, which is entitled “Risk Assessment and Regulatory Aspects of Cell Culture”, stresses that safety and health of the occupants of the cell/tissue culture laboratory is to be the focal point of any cell/tissue culture research as the risks one is exposed to are aplenty. The level of risks, and the regulations that are established in most cell/tissue culture laboratory in order to counter and reduce the amount of exposure towards those risks, are highlighted in this chapter, with the hopes of putting cautions in readers who are involved with cell/tissue culture research. As Islam prioritizes safety and wellbeing of mankind, this chapter is of great significance before going further with other aspects of integrated science and Islamic principles.
In Chapter 4, “Basic Techniques and Research in Cell Culture: Integration of Islamic Approach”, Mohammad Syaiful Bahari Abdull Rasad provides an explanation on how Islamic laws and regulations (shariah) could be applied in cell culture research with proper usage of alternative resources and materials. Discussions and suggestions in utilizing alternative approaches for cell culture research are stressed upon, with the aim of exposing readers with the possibilities of making modern science and technology more acceptable for Muslims, as well as other, communities. As a result, a perceptive on how to approach and integrate Islam into cell culture research is accomplished.
The focus of Chapter 5 is on the “Diagnostic and Therapeutic Application of Cell and Tissue Culture from Islamic Perspective”. The writer, Mohammad Syaiful Bahari Abdull Rasad and his co-writer, Nur Aizura Mat Alewi, writes at great length on the various dilemmas as well as ethical and social issues posed by the utilization of cell and tissue culture in the field of diagnostic and therapeutic research. The writers emphasize that with the advancement in cell/tissue culture application in an assortment of researches, many issues, of old and new, have also arisen. Thus, it is the duty of Muslim scholars and scientists to search for knowledge and ascertain proper regulations that are in accordance to Islamic shariah as this would assist in safeguarding the interest of the Muslim ummah and at the same time, promote its progression in modern science.
In Chapter 6, “New Era of Regenerative Medicine: An Islamic Perspective”, Ahmad Sukari Halim and his co-authors highlight the headway made by scientists and researches of this century on regenerative medicine. Diverse methods and approaches applied in modern science are stated thoroughly, keeping in mind on how Islam perceives and accepts advancement in life, as long as they are within the bound of Islamic rules and regulations (shariah).
In Chapter 7, Mohd. Arifin Kaderi explains the various aspects of genetic engineering and how cells are utilized in this advancing field of biotechnology, taking into deliberation the issues that may arise based on Islamic perspective. Hence, this chapter entitled, “Applications of Cultured Cells in Genetic Engineering: An Islamic Perspective”, discusses topics such as gene/genome applications in genetic engineering, vaccines and antibodies productions and so forth.
Elaborating further on the matter which have a degree of association, Munirah Sha’ban and her co-author, in Chapter 8, under the title, “Tissue Engineering: An Islamic Perspective”, write on a variety of aspects that need to be understood by Muslims concerning the utilization of tissue engineering from medical and scientific perspectives, with religious (Islamic) perspective playing a focal role in the discussions. It is indicated in the chapter that although the issues surrounding tissue engineering are continuously being reviewed and debated, Muslims should move forward with researches concerning tissue engineering while keeping in adherence to the shariah.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Lokman Md. Isa in Chapter 9, “Stem Cells Research: Value, Ethical and Religious Views”, draws attention to several other religions, including Islam, and their opinions and views on the subject of stem cell research. It is interesting to note that the religions which have strong traditions of legal and religious laws, namely Judaism and Islam, support most forms of stem cell research.
Finally, in the last chapter (Chapter 10) which was written by Shaharum Shamsuddin, entitled, “Nanobiotechnology and Nanomedicine: The Impact, Implication and The Unknown”, the writer puts forward a lengthy elaboration on a topic that has piqued the attention of many researchers and scientists of this era, which is the topic of nanotechnology. With in-depth input on different applications of nanotechnology, readers are able to further immerse themselves in the many prospects of nanotechnology, both known and unknown, that could benefit mankind in the future
Pengaruh harga dan kualitas produk terhadap keputusan pembelian rumah
Full text linkPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Harga dan Kualitas Produk terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Rumah pada komplek Spring Hill Palembang. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data skunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pembagian kuesioner kepada 36 orang pelanggann sebagai sampel. Teknik yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis regresi linier berganda yang di diolah menggunakan bantuan program komputer Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) 22.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa adanya pengaruh yang signifikan variabel Harga dan Kualitas Produk terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Rumah pada komplek Spring Hill Palembang, yang ditunjukan dengan model regresi Y = 1,914+0,216x1+0,618x2+e. Variabel Harga X1 berpengaruh positif dan signifikan sebesar 0,216, variabel Kualitas Produk X2 berpengaruh positif dan signifikan sebesar 0,618 dan juga menghasilkan nilai konstanta 1,914. Koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,992 dan koefisien determinasi Ajusted (R square) sebesar 0,984. Nilai tersebut dapat di tafsirkan bahwa besarnya hubungan antara Harga X1 dan Kualitas Produk X2 sebesar 98,40% dan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan dengan variabel Keputusan Pembelian Y. sedangkan sisanya sebesar 1,60% dijelaskan

The aims of this study are (1) to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and work stress together on employee performance at PT Laju Perdana Indah in East Oku. (2) To determine the effect of emotional intelligence on employee performance at PT Laju Perdana Indah in East Oku. (3) To determine work stress on employee performance at PT Laju Perdana Indah in East Oku. The results of the study show that simultaneously or together there is an influence of Emotional Intelligence (X1) and work stress (X2) on Employee Work Performance (Y) this can be seen from the results of the F test (ANOVA). 0.05. From the results of the simple Correlation Coefficient Test analysis, the correlation value between the Emotional Intelligence variable and the employee work performance variable is 0.811, this number indicates that there is a strong correlation between the Emotional Intelligence variable and the employee work performance variable. Likewise, the correlation value between the work stress variable and the employee work performance variable is 0.811. This number also shows that there is a strong correlation between the work stress variable and the employee work performance variable

The objective of the study is toanalyze the cMyc mRNA expression and its relationship with the degrees of glioma Malignancy. This is a cross-sectional study from 20 glioma samples with different degree of Malignancy from Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital, Jakarta during the period of October 2014 until February 2015. The mRNA obtained from glioma samples are converted to cDNA and then amplified. Relative quantification of cMyc mRNA expression is measured by calculating the cycle threshold values of Real Time RT PCR and normalized towards 18s rRNA to predict the relationship between the expression of cMyc and the degree of Malignancy. The cMyc expression is increased in accordance with the tumor grade. The cMyc expressions in high grade glioma are 17424.23 folds higher when calibrated to the normal cell, whereas the genes in lower grade tumors are expressed with the rate of 6167.35. Although the values obtained are not statistically significant, this research has strengthened molecular diagnosis, specifically pluripotency as the factor that gives a greater prognostic relevance than the histopathologic diagnosis. As a conclusion, there is a clinical tendency where the relative mRNA expression was higher in in glioma cMyc high degrees compared with low-grade glioma, however it is not statistically significant

The author uses the techniques of data collection through literature review, observation, and interviews. The validity of the data using triangulation of data by utilizing the data sources and review interviews that have been conducted.Analysis of the data used are data reduction, data presentation, inference, and interpretation of data. To explain the aesthetics of painting calligraphy Saiful Adnan using interpretation approach Susanne K. Langer's aesthetic theory. The results of the study explained that, the character of the Arabic calligraphy art kaligarfi Adnan Saiful different from raw calligraphy character has evolved over the years. The character is known as khatkaligarfiSyaifuly. Calligraphy character formation through several internal and external factors. Internal factors include environmental factors Adnan Saiful place of origin, education factors, and spiritual factors. The external factors include factors phenomena that occur in the community and form factors of artistic calligraphy. The process has led to the formation of the character of the aesthetic value of the art of calligraphy Saiful Adnan symbolic color, shape, composition, and verses from the Qur'an with the meaning of the beauty of Islamic values in each painting calligraphy Saiful Adnan.

Penjatuhan Hukuman Tindak Pidana Pencurian Berdasarkan Pasal 363 Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana
Full text linkPencurian merupakan suatu perbuatan tercela dan melawan hukum yang mana akibat dari perbuatannya telah merugikan banyak orang terbukti dengan terdapatnya 86 jumlah kasus pencurian dengan pemberatan di lingkungan masyarakat. Masyarakat merasa pelaku tindak pidana pencurian harus lebih di tindak tegas lagi agar dapat memberikan efek jera terlebih bagi pelaku yang telah berulang kali keluar masuk penjara dengan kasus yang sama. Karena masyarakat menilai pengaturan hukum yang terdapat di dalam Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana yang mengatur tentang pencurian pada Pasal 363 masih kurang efisien sehingga pelaku pencurian masih dapat melakukan tindak pidana yang sama lagi ketika keluar penjara.
Adapun permasalahan dalam penelitian ini mengenai Bagaimana penjatuhan hukuman dalam tindak pidana pencurian berdasarkan Pasal 363 KUHPidana. Bagaimana pertimbangan hukum oleh hakim dalam menjatuhkan putusan tentang tindak pidana pencurian yang dikaitkan dalam Pasal 363 KUHPidana.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan penelitian adalah metode penelitian normatif yang mencari dan mengumpulkan data dengan cara penelitian kepustakaan terhadap peraturan Undang-Undang, buku-buku hukum, artikel hukum, jurnal hukum, putusan hakim, media massa, yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan yang dibahas penulis di dalam skripsi ini.
Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dari penelitian ini adalah pertimbangan hukum oleh hakim dalam memberikan penjatuhan hukuman terhadap pelaku tindak pidana pencurian berdasarkan Pasal 363 ayat (1) ke-4e, 5e jo Pasal 64 ayat (1) Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana dengan melihat bukti-bukti yang terdapat di dalam persidangan maupun tempat kejadian perkara dan melihat berdasarkan hal-hal yang meringankan dan memberatkan yang dilakukan oleh terdakwa Suheri Als Heri bersama rekannya telah melakukan pencurian spare pats mobil Avanza, maka hakim menjerat pelaku karena perbuatannya telah melawan hukum dengan pidana penjara 2 (dua) tahun 6 (enam) bulan sesuai dengan putusan nomor:963/Pid.B/2016/PN.LbpTheft is a shameful act against the law which result from his actions have hurt many people as evidenced by the presence of 86 the number of cases of theft by weighting in the community. The public feels that the perpetrators of criminal acts of theft must be more firmly acted in order to provide a deterrent effect especially for perpetrators who have been repeatedly in and out of prison in the same case. Because the people perceive the legal arrangements contained in the Criminal Code regulating theft in Article 363 are still inefficient so that the perpetrators of theft can still commit the same crime again when out of jail.The problems in this research about what factors cause the occurrence of criminal acts of theft. How is the judge's judicial consideration in deciding the judgment of the criminal act of theft attributed in Article 363 of the Criminal Code. The research method used in research writing is a normative research method that searches and collects data by way of literature research on the law, law books, legal articles, legal journals, judges verdict, mass media, related to the issues discussed by the author in this essay. Financial institutions offer various forms of providing funds for capital goods for entrepreneurs, including leasing. Currently, leasing is one of the way for companies to acquire assets or ownership without having to go through a prolonged process. The issues that will be discussed are how the legal relationship between the parties in the leasing agreement related to the distribution of motor vehicle financing, what causes the termination of the motor vehicle leasing agreement and what legal remedies are used by the leasing company to prevent risk if the lessee defaults at PT. Mandiri Tunas Finance Jalan Adam Malik Medan.
In writing this thesis the writer uses juridical normative and empirical juridical research methods with descriptive analytical research characteristics. The method of data collection used is by collecting primary data and secondary data based on applicable legal norms and interview studies at PT. Mandiri Tunas Finance Jalan Adam Malik Medan.
The conclusion that can be taken is that the legal relationship between the parties is related to the distribution of financing by using leasing in the context of marketing of motor vehicles, namely the lessor provides the cost of purchasing motorcycle in cash to the supplier. The supplier gives the motor to the lessee. After the lessee gets the motorcycle, then he makes a lease payment to the lessor. Most of the defaults that occur are committed by the lessee and what often occurs is the problem of late payment of monthly installments. Settlement of defaults made by the lessee with a family approach, if not heeded, then the lessee will be subject to subpoena and penalty for late payment, and the object of the lease can be withdrawn by the lessor. The advice that can be given by the author is that the lessor must carefully analyze the character and ability to pay from the lesseePerekonomian di Indonesia yang semakin sulit membuat pemerintahmemperkenalkan suatu lembaga keuangan disamping lembagakeuangan bank untuk memenuhi kebutuhan modal atau dana dari para pengusaha yaitu lembaga pembiayaan. Lembaga pembiayaan menawarkan berbagai macam bentuk penyediaan dana untuk barang-barang modal bagi pengusaha, diantaranya adalah leasing.Saat ini, leasing merupakan salah satu cara perusahaan memperoleh asset atau kepemilikan tanpa harus melalui proses yang berkepanjangan. Permasalahan yang akan dibahas adalah bagaimana hubungan hukum para pihak dalam perjanjian leasing terkait dengan penyaluran pembiayaan kendaraan bermotor, hal – hal apa yang menyebabkan putusnya perjanjian leasing kendaraan bermotor dan upaya hukum apa yang digunakan oleh perusahaan penyelenggara leasing untuk mencegah resiko apabila lessee wanprestasi pada PT. Mandiri Tunas Finance Jalan Adam Malik Medan.
Dalam penulisan skripsi ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian yuridis normatif dan yuridis empiris dengan sifat penelitian deskriptif analitis. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan mengumpulkan data primer dan data sekunder yang berdasarkan norma hukum yang berlaku dan studi wawancara pada PT. Mandiri Tunas Finance Jalan Adam Malik Medan.
Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil adalah hubungan hukum para pihak tersebut terkait dengan penyaluran pembiayaan dengan menggunakan leasing dalam rangka pemasaran kendaraan bermotor yakni lessor memberikan biaya pembelian motor secara tunai kepada supplier. Supplier memberikan motor kepada lessee. Setelah lessee memperoleh motor, maka ia melakukan pembayaran lease kepada lessor. Wanprestasi yang terjadi sebagian besar dilakukan oleh pihak lessee dan yang seringkali terjadi adalah masalah keterlambatan pembayaran uang angsuran pada tiap bulannya. Penyelesaian terhadap wanprestasi yang dilakukan oleh lessee dengan pendekatan secara kekeluargaan, jika tidak mengindahkan maka pihak lesseedikenakan somasi dan denda atas keterlambatan pembayaran, dan obyek leasing dapat ditarik oleh pihak lessor.
