Conversation by the beach
This is a recording of two men, Saharuddin and Mawardi. Saharuddin was born and raised in Central Lombok, he is 51 years old. He moved to Pondok Perasi in 1992 and had become a fisherman ever since. He married a woman from Bintaro, Ampenan. He spent 6 years working in Sumbawa when he was single. Mawardi is a 21 year old fisherman. He was born and raised in Bintaro. His wife is from Mataram. Both speakers mostly converse about their catch and their fellow fishermen's catch. The oconversation ends with Khairunnisa collecting metadata from the speakers. Muhammad Jaelani assisted with the recording. Video was recorded on Panasonic HC-V770, audio on Marantz PMD561 with an Audio Technica AT8022 Stereo Microphone.Ampenan, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara province, Indonesi
THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PORTFOLIO ASSESSMENT IN TEACHING WRITING
ABSTRACT
SAHARUDDIN 2019. The Implementation Of Portfolio Assesment in Teaching
Writing (Supervised by Muhammad Basri and Baso Jabu.M.Hum ).
The objective of this research were to explore the way an English teacher
implement portfolio assessment and the Impacts in implementing portfolio assessment
in teaching writing of SMA Negeri 12 Bone in the academic year of 2018/2019 through
portfolio assessment.
This study was qualitative research which was conducted in 3 meetings. The
subjects of the research were X MIPA 2 of SMAN 12 Bone. The qualitative data were
obtained from the observations and interviews with the English teacher, and the
students. The actions implemented in this research were providing writing tasks to
practice writing in the classroom and applying portfolio assessment, providing
materials and activities.
The results of this research showed that the implementation of portfolio
assessment in teaching writing was able to improve the students’ writing skills in five
aspects of writing, namely content, organisation, vocabulary, language use, and
mechanics. The feedback given to the students made them know their errors.
Furthermore, the students had opportunities to revise their writing. They also could
review their writing that made them write better.

Status Ahli Waris Janda Terhadap Hak Penerima Testamen
Saharuddin,Status of the Widow's Heirs Against the Rights of Testament Recipients
This study uses a normative research type with a statute approach. Types of sources of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials. The results of this study indicate that the widow in inheriting the abintestato is the same as the position of the child, both are classified into group 1 (one). While in testamentair inheritance the position of a widow (wife) is not the same as that of a child, this is because the child has its own absolute share while the widow (wife) does not have its own absolute rights. Regarding the part that the widow (wife) gets, it lies in the number of statements left by the heir, the more testaments, the less or none at all received by the widow (wife). This study uses a normative research type with a statute approach.
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
Physical and mechanical properties of kenaf fiber-SBR biocomposite / Muslimah Saharuddin
Biocomposites are composite materials comprising one or more phase(s) derived from a biological origin. In terms of the reinforcement, this could include plant fibers such as cotton, flax, hemp and the like, or fibers from recycled wood or waste paper, or even by-products from food crops. Natural-fiber-reinforced polymer composites, or biocomposites, have gained renewed interest over the past decade because of their low material costs, light weight, high specific modulus (modulus over density), and environmentally issues such as biodegradability, recyclability and eco-friendliness. In today's market, the cost, quality, and availability of fiber are of utmost importance. The new products that we called are Kenaf. Grower interest in kenaf arises primarily from its potential as a commercial fiber crop. In this research Kenaf biocomposite was prepared from Kenaf fiber mix with synthetic rubber (SBR) using electrical press and compression moulds. The purpose of this study is to determine the properties and the strength of various loading percentage of Kenaf fiber into synthetic rubber. In term, hardness test, tensile test where is elongation test and modulus test also have been studied, density test and water absorption test. Five sample of Kenaf biocomposite and one sample of pure synthetic rubber were prepared through 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20 % of Kenaf fiber. The results for each test shown that 20% of Kenaf have a greater effect compared 0% of Kenaf which is having the toughest strengthen. Except for tensile test, sample with 20% of Kenaf show the lowest value for strength
