Full text linkPenelitian ini membahas tentang Safaruddin Datuk Bandaro Rajo ketika menjadi Kepala Desa Sampai Menjadi Anggota DPRD Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota 1982-2019. Latar Belakang Penelitian adalah melihat bagaimana perjalanan Kehidupana Safaruddin Datuak Bandaro terutama dalam aktivitasnya sebagai seorang kepala desa dan DPRD Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota.
Proses penulisan skripsi ini menggunakan metode penulisan sejarah yang terdiri atas empat tahapan, yaitu heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi dan historiografi. Tahapan heuristik adalah pengumpulan sumber primer dan sekunder. Sumber penelitian dihimpun dari studi pustakaan dan kearsipan. Sejarah lisan atau penulisan lisan juga diterapkan sebagai pemecahan keterbatasan sumber tertulis yakni dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara yang terarah dan sasaran yang hendak dicapai adalah karya sejarah yang bercorak deskriptif-analisis.
Dari hasil penelitian, beberapa data yang diperoleh sebagai berikut: Bahwa Safaruddin Datuk Bandaro Rajo adalah salah satu tokoh desa di Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota yang lahir di Nagari Baruah Gunuang Kecamatan Bukit Barisan Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. Safaruddin Datuak Bandaro Rajo menjadi Kepala Desa 2 periode 1982-1993. Pada tahun 1987 Safaruddin Datuak Bandaro Rajo sudah mulai berkecimpung di dunia politik. Karir politik Safaruddin Datuak Bandaro Rajo dimulai ketika bergabung dengan Golkar. Safaruddin mencapai puncak karirnya ketika terpilih sebagai anggota legislatif DPRD Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. Ia menjadi anggota DPRD selama 5 periode yaitu dari tahun 1992-2019. Safaruddin Datuak Bandaro Rajo seorang politisi yang membangun karir dari bawah. Full text linkThis project is concerned about hours of waiting which cause anxiety, and stress while waiting to be served. Research showed that most of people are waiting for too long in an emergency department. The purpose of this project is to solve this problem and come out with a suitable interface that can positively influence waiting experience. There were two interfaces designed specifically for this purpose. First interface is based on existing interface while second interface is the enhance one. For end product the interfaces is implemented in a web based platform to imitate real world situation. After design and development phase is done, user satisfaction is tested by giving a survey which is based on Questionnaire for User Interface Satisfaction (QUIS). The testing is evaluated by 10 respondents from Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia, Shah Alam. The data is gathered and analyzed and it is proven that the interface can alleviate anxiety and draw users’ attention. Towards the development phase there are some flaws and limitations that can be improve in future studies

ABSTRAK
Burung Cendet menjadi burung favorit bagi para penghobi burung
kicauan. Alasannya selain memiliki suara bagus, burung Cendet juga piawai
menirukan macam-macam suara burung. Kendala yang dihadapi berkenaan
dengan burung Cendet ini, biasanya burung tiba-tiba berhenti berbunyi. Hal ini
dikarenakan minimnya penguasaan suara isian atau suara masteran sehingga
burung Cendet kesulitan dalam beralih nada.
Pada makalah ini telah direalisasikan sebuah sistem yang kedepannya
mampu di implementasikan untuk melatih kicauan burung Cendet. Dalam
perancangannya menggunakan mini-PC Raspberry Pi 3 B sebagai kontroler,
speaker disini digunakan untuk melatih suara burung yang sudah di sediakan
masteran, microphon digunakan untuk mrekam suara burung dan dikirim ke
web untuk mengetahui perkembangan suara, satu buah camera sebagai
monitoring.
Dari hasil pengujian sistem ini secara keseluruhan dapat dinyatakan bahwa
sistem ini dapat bekerja sesuai dengan perancangan awal yaitu untuk melatih
suara ,merekam suara dan monitoring pada burung cendet.

Design and Build a System For Practicing Chirping Bird

ABSTRACT
Sandalwood is a favorite bird for birds lovers. The reason besides
having a good voice, the Cendet bird has also good at mimicking the
sounds of birds. Constraints issued regarding the bird Cendet, usually
the bird suddenly stops ringing. This is because of the lack of mastery of
the voice or the voice of the master so that the bird of Cendet has
difficulty shifting tones.
In this paper has been realized that can be implemented in the
future to train Cendet birds. In the design using Raspberry Pi 3 B miniPC as a controller, the speaker is used to train the sound of birds that
have been provided by the master, the microphone is used to record bird
sounds and sent to the web to look for sound developments, one camera
as monitoring.
From the results of testing this system, it can be published in
accordance with a system designed in accordance with the initial design
that is to train sounds, listen their sounds and monitor sandalwood birds.

Full text linkMy internship journey at RICAEN for six months or 24 weeks, beginning on March 1, 2023 and ending August 15 2023, The Research, Industry, Community, and Alumni Network RICAEN branch, which is headed by the Deputy Rector for Research and Industrial Linkages, assists and supports all academic members with commercialization, intellectual property, publications, and grant applications. The goal of the Industry, Community, and Alumni Network is to establish new connections and solidify already-existing linkages with businesses, the community, alumni, and other universities. As for my internship journey, in this department, I was assigned to the Research Management Unit which was managed by Dr Wan Izhan Nawawi and assisted Puan Zurita Jaafar. The research management unit is responsible for coordinating and disseminating information regarding research-related activities in UiTM Perlis.
The Units Under the Research, Industry, Community, Alumni, Entrepreneurship & Network (RICAEN) is an organization that is responsible for serves and helps all faculty members in research grant applications, publications, intellectual properties, consultation services as well as commercialization, develop new linkages and strengthen existing partnerships with industry, communities, alumni and other universities.
Moreover, my duties in this department included helping to process local order payments, claims for travel and other expenses, claims for other expenses, and honorarium payments made to academic staff members who receive funding from internal, commercial, academic, national, or international sources. I am also in charge of new applications and extending the contracts of Graduate Research Assistants and Research Assistants because I am responsible for processing their salaries each month.
Furthermore, I also gained the intrinsic rewards by few of activities that have been held in RICAEN along my internship journey by contributing in some big events at RICAEN such as International Innovation, Design and Articulation (i-Idea) and Anugerah Semarak Sanjung. However, no allowance is provided for internship at RICAEN. Since this is a government organization, we are required to do our job and responsible without any payment, but each event that we contributed, we are given a certificate as a reward of being a volunteer in those event as I mentioned earlier.
Other than that, during my internship at RICAEN, I gained skills such as interpersonal skill and effective communication skill. These skills thought me to become a good staff in the future.
In addition, based on the swot analysis, four strategies are strategized such as employee training and development, website optimization, highlight unique selling points and utilize alumni network.
Last but not least, there are some recommendations suggested to overcome the weaknesses in this organization. Those are regular system maintenance, backup system, social media engagement, collaborate with faculty and researchers, use technology for communication and encourage open communication
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Full text linkAs market growth slows or as markets become more competitive and level of switching costs increase, firms are more likely to attempt to maintain their market share by focusing on retaining current customers. Customer retention has been advocated as an easier and more reliable source of superior performance. This research utilized a convenience methodology to improve customer retention, and the researcher has helped the firm identifying the factors that contribute to retain customer and initiate a variety of strategies to accomplish this objective. Three factors that contribute to retain customer that had been identify by researcher consists of commitment, service quality and long-term relationship. The findings highlight that all the three factors do contribute to retain customer and the firm should take action and focus more on these three contribution factors in order to retain and keep their customers loyal. The researcher also had come out with few recommendations. The recommendations can be taken into consideration. By implementing these recommendations, the researcher optimism that it will help the firm to better upgrade its performance and any area that is not running well in their management for future use
