THE INFLUENCE OF PROMOTIONAL COST AGAINTS SALES VOLUME PRODUCT BATIK JAMBI SELARAS PINANG MASAK IN JAMBI CITY
The purpose of this study are: (1) Identify the influence between the promotional cost against sales volume products batik local craft. (2) Identify the variable costs of the dominant promotion affects the sales volumes of local handicraft products batik. Analytical tools used in this research is to test assumptions, multiple regression analysis, T test and F test. The location of the research on Selaras Pinang Masak on JL. KH. Jakfar RT. 01 Mudung Laut, Peelayangan in Jambi City. Based on the test results proved that partially variable cost of sales promotions and personnel costs selling that can provide significant effects against the volume of sales of products batik on Selaras Pinang Masak in Jambi City, while variable costs of advertising and the cost of publicity does not influence significantly to sales volumes of products batik on Selaras Pinang Masak in Jambi City. Based on the results of the calculations found that the variable cost of sales promotions and personnel costs selling that has significant influence against the volume of sales of products batik on Saanggar Selaras Pinang Masak in Jambi City, in the study the independent variables that influence the dependent variable was dominant against the cost of sales promotion

The world of tourism is something that has an important influence on the development and development of a country. The development of tourism will not be separated from physical and non-physical elements. Physical and non-physical elements will be considered in relation to the carrying capacity of objects and consideration of the impacts arising from tourism development. Tourism development must be based on planning, development and management direction. Local governments have an important role in tourism development. Lake Sipin is a lake located in the middle of the city of Jambi. Lake Sipin will definitely be very interesting, if it is packaged in such a way. The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of tourism product revitalization on preferences, identify the effect of tourism product revitalization and preferences on visiting decisions and identify preferences able to mediate the effect of tourism product revitalization on visiting decisions The population of this study is the Jambi city community while the sample is the Jambi city community which more than once visited the attractions of Lake Sipin Jambi as many as 150 people. The data method uses path analysis. The results of the study note that the revitalization of tourism products has a significant influence on the preferences of visitors to the Lake Sipin Jambi tourist attraction, the revitalization of tourism products and visitor preferences have a significant influence on the decision to visit the Lake Sipin Jambi tourist attraction and the visitor's preferences are able to mediate the effect of tourism product revitalization on the decision visited the attractions of Lake Sipin Jamb
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. The loyalty of rural tourism destination: A perspective of destination quality perception, satisfaction, and behavior intention in Indonesia
The tourism sector is currently developing rapidly, thereby aiding in the significant boost of Indonesia\u27s economy. Tourist villages are among the natural tourism product portfolios provided to tourists, which the government adequately develops to become a new and attractive alternative tourist destination. For the short term, this research examines the loyalty of tourist village destinations as a perspective destination quality, satisfaction, and intentions of practice in Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province. In the long term, it is expected to increase tourist village destinations\u27 loyalty in Jambi Province. This research was carried out in three selected villages, namely Lempur, Pendung Talang Genting, and Jernih Jaya, Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province. The findings and discussion concluded that tourist satisfaction influences tourist destination loyalty and behavioral intention. Meanwhile, the perceptions of the quality of tourism destinations influence tourists\u27 loyalty and urge to return to the village. Tourism satisfaction also affects the loyalty of tourist village destinations. However, its perception in terms of quality can influence tourist loyalty

The world of education is expected to prepare human resources who can solve problems, are critical and innovative. The activeness of students has an important role in the service marketing learning process so that it can stimulate critical thinking. Project-based learning model is more effective in improving students' critical thinking skills compared to conventional learning. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of applying a project-based learning model with a case-solving method in developing critical thinking skills in students who teach service marketing courses. The research method used is descriptive as an evaluation stage. Descriptive analysis is used to describe as an evaluation with critical thinking skills qualifications for students who take courses in service marketing. The project-based learning model in service marketing courses using the case method can improve students' ability to think critically, this condition is very much needed in today's uncertain conditions. Consumer behavior towards services is always changing, where business people and academics are required to be able to think critically in order to innovate to meet consumer needs
DIGITAL CONTENT STRATEGY: HOW SOCIAL PROOF INFLUENCES PURCHASING DECISIONS
The growth of the creative industry in Indonesia has become a pillar in the economy, this phenomenon has illustrated that human resources have the potential to be ready for competitiveness towards foreign countries. Marketing through online media has become an idol for business actors, in addition to being very easy to use, it is supported by small promotional costs. Managing information content on social media is very important, in addition to creating attraction, it also fosters consumer trust to choose to transact to buy a product. The objectives of this study are (1) To examine the influence of smart digital content marketing on purchasing decisions; (2) To examine the influence of smart digital content marketing on social proof; (3) To examine the influence of social proof on purchasing decisions; (4) To examine the role of social proof in mediating the influence of smart digital content marketing on purchasing decisions. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) measurement using SmartPLS software. The results of the analysis show that Smart Digital Content Marketing has a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions. In addition, Social Proof also has a significant effect on Purchasing Decisions and mediates the relationship between Smart Digital Content Marketing and Purchasing Decisions. This finding confirms the importance of the presence of social proof as a reinforcement of the effectiveness of digital marketing strategies in driving consumer purchasing decisions
