No full textThe life of Vadym Oleksandrovych Topachevsky and his contribution to the development of science is considered. V. O. Topachevsky was the most famous palaeomammalogist of Eastern Europe, long-term head of the palaeontological department of the now National Museum of Natural History of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, director of Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology of the Ukrainian SSR, founder and editor-in-chief of a number of important Ukrainian zoological publications, and academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Vadym Oleksandrovych was at the origins of systematic palaeontological expeditions to key sites of the Quaternary period, participated in the development of serial collections of small mammals and of the research techniques of faunal complexes based on the analysis of samples characterising the micromammal fauna of a particular section. Research by V. O. Topachevsky is devoted to such fundamental branches of zoology as taxonomy, phylogenetics, historical faunistics, evolutionary morphology, and zoogeography. The scientist paid much attention to biostratigraphy and palaeogeography. He solved complex issues of taxonomy and parataxonomy in relation to extinct and modern representatives of fauna, justified the establishing of a number of new to science taxa of extinct mammals. Among the outstanding achievements of Vadym Topachevsky of great importance is the creation of a comprehensive association scheme of development of communities, which explains the changes in the fauna of small mammals of the late Pliocene, Eopleistocene and Pleistocene of the Northern Black Sea Region, as well as the development and justification of the biozonal stratigraphic scheme of the late Miocene and Pliocene of the Eastern Paratethys. He is the author of 8 monographs and supervisor of 11 candidate and 2 doctoral dissertations. Vadym Oleksandrovych formed a powerful scientific department and prepared a worthy scientific change, the works of which are well known to specialists. His achievements were awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor, the titles of Academician of the NAS of Ukraine, Honoured Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, and he won the I. I. Schmalhausen Prize of the NAS of Ukraine. The palaeontological exhibition of the National Museum of Natural History NAS of Ukraine was named after the scientist in 2005. Supervisor's e-mail address: [email protected] Abstract: This work deals with the theory of the stable distributions, their parameter estimation, and their financial application. There arc given the methods of characteristic function and method of projections, which is rel- ative to ML-methodology, for estimation of the parameters of stable dis- tributions. We compare these methods with the conventional estimators. The quality of estimators is verified by the simulation of the sample having stable distribution with known parameters and comparing the estimates of these parameters with their real values. The aim of this work is estima- tion of parameters of the stable laws which iy applicable for modification of AHCH/GAHCH models with stable innovations. No full textВисокі вимоги до професійних і психофізіологічних якостей військовослужбовців підтверджує бойовий досвід, якого набув особовий склад Збройних сил України за роки війни з росією. Мета роботи полягала у вивченні важливості когнітивних якостей у структурі професійної підготовки військовослужбовців. Методоло- гія дослідження. У роботі використано теоретичний аналіз й узагальнення наукової та методичної літератури, метод соціологічного опитування (анкетування), методи математичної статистики. До експерименту залучено 155 учасників курсів підвищення кваліфікації та 29 інструкторів із фізичної підготовки й спорту. Проведено експертну оцінку важливості когнітивних показників у професійно-прикладній підготовці військовослужбовців. Здійснено порівняльний аналіз відповідей інструкторів із фізичної підготовки та спорту й учасників курсів підвищення кваліфікації. Результати дослідження. Найважливішими когнітивними якостями, на думку інструкторів, є логічне мислення (4,69 ± 0,11 бала), довготривала пам’ять (4,66 ± 0,11 бала), зосередженість уваги (4,62 ± 0,13 бала), стійкість і здатність перемикати увагу (4,59 ± 0,13 бала). Учасники курсів підвищення кваліфікації вважають, що найважливішими якостями є логічне мислення (4,34 ± 0,07 бала), стійкість (4,32 ± 0,07 бала) і зосередженість уваги (4,32 ± 0,07 бала). Висновки. На підставі проведеного оцінювання важливості когнітивних якостей військовослужбовців установлено, що показники пам’яті, уваги, мислення та уяви є важли- вими для їхньої професійної діяльності. Серед найбільш важливих для професійно-прикладної діяльності військовослужбовців є логічне мислення, довготривала пам’ять, зосередженість і стійкість уваги. Статистично достовірні відмінності (р < 0,05) між відповідями респондентів виявлено щодо таких показників, як довготри- вала пам’ять, зосередженість уваги, переключення уваги та логічне мислення

Проблеми, пов’язані з розробленням науково обґрунтованої системи розвитку професійної готовності інструкторів з фізичної підготовки й спорту Національної гвардії України з урахуванням особистісно-орієнтовного підходу, залишаються нерозв’язаними. Мета– обґрунтувати й запропонувати підходи до підвищення готовності інструкторів з фізичної підготовки і спорту, ураховуючи індивідуальні показники та особистісно орієнтований підхід. У роботі використано психодіагностичні методи дослідження, проведено тестування фізичної підготовленості, кластерний аналіз, експертне оцінювання; для статистичної обробки даних використано описову статистику. Проаналізовано психодіагностичні показники групи інструкторів з фізичної підготовки й спорту Національної гвардії України. У проаналізованій групі виокремлено чотири кластери, які відрізняються між собою за певними показниками. Проведено експертне оцінювання розроблених нами підходів
