Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan instrumen pengumpulan data, yakni observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi, kemudian data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data kategorisasi dan korelasi yakni data kuantitatif dideskripsikan menjadi data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman nilai-nilai pendidikan sangat penting dalam meningkatkan perilaku peserta didik di SDN No. 556 Tampumia hal ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mereka memperlihatkan perilaku positif dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, baik pada lingkungan pergaulan di rumah tangga, sekolah maupun di masyarakat. Masalah yang diselidiki dalam penelitian ini adalah pengaruh antara prestasi belajar matematika dan prestasi belajar bahasa Inggris sebagai variabel bebas, terhadap kemampuan siswa menyelesaikan soal trigonometri berbahasa Inggris sebagai variabel terikat. Hipotesis penelitian ini ada tiga yaitu : (1) Prestasi belajar matematika mempunyai pengaruh yang positif terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal trigonometri berbahasa Inggris, (2) Prestasi belajar bahasa Inggris mempunyai pengaruh yang positif terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal trigonometri berbahasa Inggris, (3) Prestasi belajar matematika dan bahasa Inggris secara bersama-sama mempunyai pengaruh yang positif terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal trigonometri berbahasa Inggris. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa Kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Palopo tahun ajaran 2010/2011. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah systematic random sampling.Untuk mengolah data hasil penelitian digunakan dua macam teknik statistik yang diolah melalui komputerisasi dengan memanfaatkan program Statistical Product and Service Solutions Versi 11.5. Dari pengujian hipotesis diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut (1) Prestasi belajar matematika berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal trigonometri berbahasa Inggris pada siswa Kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Palopo, (2) Prestasi belajar bahasa Inggris berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal trigonometri berbahasa Inggris pada siswa Kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Palopo, dan (3) Prestasi belajar matematika dan bahasa Inggris secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal trigonometri berbahasa Inggris pada siswa Kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Palopo. Berdasarkan nilai R square = 0,775, ternyata 77,5 % variansi tingkat kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal trigonometri berbahasa Inggris ditentukan oleh prestasi belajar matematika dan bahasa Inggris siswa dengan catatan bahwa pengaruh variabel lain diabaikan

    VBAC is the promotion of vaginal delivery in women who have undergone a previous caesarean section. About 75% of mothers have had caesarean section at the next labor. At the Maternity Clinic Hj. Rismala. S The range of events in the history of cesarean section with VBAC was 30 people from 335 normal deliveries.To find out the relationship between sectio caesarea and VBAC at the Maternity Clinic Hj. Rismala. S Kisaran in 2018, The study was conducted using a cross-sectional research method with Chi Squer test with a total sample of 30 mothers conducted in July 2018. From the results of the study of 30 samples, it was found that there was no relationship between Age and VBAC both from the age group at risk of 51.9% and the age group who were not at risk 41.9% with OR (0.464). And there is no relationship between parity and VBAC, where mothers with multiparous partasas in the successful group have 50% while in the unsuccessful group 50% with OR (1,000).With the conclusion that there is no relationship between age and VBAC and there is no relationship between parity and VBAC based on data obtained from the Hj Maternity Clinic medical record. That results obtained according to age and parity are not the main considerations because there are other factors that need to be known but not examined by researchers such as uterine incision type, history of rupture, number of previous caesarean deliveries, indications of uterus and complication at the time of delivery which makes the midwife have to make a reference for Sectio Caesarea at the hospital

Kata Kunci: Persepsi Keadilan Kompensasi,  Komiten Organisasi Komitmen organisasi merupakan kemauan dan kesediaan karyawan untuk tetap mempertahankan keanggotaannya serta menyesuaikan diri dengan kepentingan dan tujuan organisasi. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi karyawan adalah persepsi keadilan kompensasi. Persepsi keadilan kompensasi merupakan pembentukan gambaran dan pemahaman seorang karyawan mengenai keadilan kompensasi yang diberikan perusahaan terhadap dirinya sebagai imbalan atau balas jasa dari perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tentang: 1) persepsi keadilan kompensasi pada karyawan PT Gasulindo Lumajang 2) komitmen organisasi pada karyawan PT Gasulindo Lumajang 3) persepsi keadilan kompensasi sebagai prediktor komitmen organisasi pada karyawan PT Gasulindo Lumajang.  Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian deskriptif dan prediktif. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan sebanyak 30 karyawan karyawan PT Gasulindo Lumajang menggunakan metode sampel nonprobability dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala persepsi keadilan kompensasi sebanyak 33 aitem dengan reliabilitas  0,926 dan skala komitmen organisasi  sebanyak 29 aitem dengan reliabilitas 0,930. Uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karyawan memiliki tingkat persepsi keadilan kompensasi yang rendah yaitu sebesar 66% dan tingkat komitmen organisasi  yang rendah yaitu sebesar 53%. Persepsi keadilan kompensasi merupakan prediktor komitmen organisasi dengan angka regresi sebesar R= 0,506 dengan signifikansi 0,004 (

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Variations on the Author

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
