SOCIAL ORDER DIMENSION IN SUPERSTITION PREGNANT WOMAN FOR KUBUANG TIGO BALEH SOCIETY
This research is motivated by problems and phenomena regarding the behavior and ethics of pregnant women in the Kubuang Tigo Baleh community. This study aims to describe the patterns, functions, and ethical values in the superstition of pregnant women in the Kubuang Tigo Baleh community. This research is a type of qualitative research, data collection techniques carried out by observation and unstructured interviews with informants. This research data analysis technique uses three stages, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that: the superstition of pregnant women Kubuang Tigo Baleh community is a means of educating behavior, the superstition of pregnant women Kubuang Tigo Baleh community is associative, and the superstition of pregnant women Kubuang Tigo Baleh community is always created through the context of events. Therefore, it can be concluded that the superstition of pregnant women in Kubuang Tigo Baleh community is an expression of local wisdom in directing behavior, actions, and ethics
Transformasi Makrolinguistik Bahasa Indonesia dalam Gamitan Media Digital: Analisis Wacana Kritis pada Platform Media Sosial
Penelitian ini mengkaji transformasi makrolinguistik bahasa Indonesia di media digital melalui analisis wacana kritis pada platform Instagram, TikTok, dan Facebook. Studi ini mengungkap bagaimana globalisasi, teknologi, dan budaya populer memengaruhi pola penggunaan bahasa, menciptakan dualisme antara pengaruh lokal dan global. Data menunjukkan dominasi bahasa campuran, emoji, serta hashtag global yang mencerminkan adaptasi terhadap tren teknologi sekaligus pergeseran nilai-nilai sosial-budaya. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa degradasi norma bahasa baku berdampak pada kemampuan generasi muda dalam komunikasi formal, sementara fenomena FOMO dan polarisasi opini memperkuat kebutuhan literasi digital kritis. Hasil penelitian menegaskan perlunya pendekatan interkultural dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang mengintegrasikan literasi digital. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran linguistik makro holistik yang relevan bagi akademisi, pembuat kebijakan, dan pendidik dalam menjaga identitas linguistik bangsa di era digital
Reinterpretation of Ethic Value in Minangkabau’s Superstition
This article aims to reveal reinterpretation ethic value of Minangkabau’s superstition especially in the society of Kubuang Tigo Baleh’s superstition. Besides the concepts of superstition, superstition in well-mannered culture and superstition pattern of the society of Kubuang Tigo Baleh are explained. There are four patterns of superstition, namely negative, positive, prediction and witchcraft pattern. However, in the process of pattern meaning the lofty ethic values are framed and considered as local wisdom of the society in Kubuang Tigo Baleh which is appropriate, well-mannered, educated and existence acknowledged as a belief.
Intervensi Superstisi terhadap Perspektif Adab bagi Masyarakat Minangkabau
Superstition and adab are among the many local pearls of wisdom in Minangkabau. Superstition is a statement that contains a supernatural meaning while adab is a condition that describes someone's unethical behavior. Contextually, there is a relationship between superstition and adab. The superstition that is formed in the life of the Minangkabau people is reconstructed from a civilization. The purpose of this paper is to describe and prove this relationship so that a common thread can be drawn regarding the relationship between superstition and Minangkabau people's manners. This research approach uses a qualitative approach. This study uses categorization techniques to reveal and interpret the data that has been collected. The data in question are the superstitions of the Minangkabau people which are reflected in adab, namely the manners of sitting, standing, walking, and behaving. Fostering mutual understanding: Indonesian language workshop at STS 3.0 / Noraziah Mohd Amin, Marni Jamil and Nur Afiqah Ab. Latif
Dr. Ridha Hasnul Ulya from Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP), Sumatera Barat, Indonesia, was invited as a speaker to teach the Indonesian language to the participants of a school holiday programme named, “Sparkle Through Speech 3.0 (Digital Dialogue: Mastering Communication Skills)” or STS 3.0. The session took place on 15 February 2024, at Pusat IT, Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Pulau Pinang Branch, Malaysia. Dr. Ridha is from the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature, Faculty of Language and Art, UNP. He earned a Bachelor of Education in Indonesian Language and Literature from UNP. His research interests include culture, linguistics, and language learning, and he has contributed to various academic publications in these areas
Superstition Mitigation Of Pregnant Women In Malay Riau
Abstrak
Tulisan ini membahas klasifikasi makna dan tipologi fungsi dalam superstisi yang berkaitan dengan kelahiran, masa bayi, dan masa kanak-kanak di kalangan masyarakat Melayu Muslim di Riau. Paper ini mengidentifikasi makna denotatif dan konotatif yang terkandung dalam kepercayaan-kepercayaan tradisional tersebut, sekaligus menyoroti peran dalam bimbingan perilaku serta pelestarian nilai-nilai budaya. Makna denotatif memberikan informasi faktual, terutama terkait kesehatan ibu dan anak, sementara makna konotatif membawa unsur emosional, moral, dan spiritual. Tipologi fungsi dalam superstisi bertujuan memperkuat keyakinan religius, merefleksikan harapan kolektif, mendidik anak-anak, menjelaskan fenomena alam, dan memberikan hiburan pada masa-masa sulit. Superstisi tidak hanya merupakan warisan budaya, tetapi juga mekanisme informal untuk pengendalian sosial dan pendidikan. Artikel ini menekankan hal penting memahami kepercayaan lokal dalam rancangan intervensi kesehatan yang sensitif terhadap budaya. Dengan mempertemukan pengetahuan tradisional dan praktik modern, tulisan ini turut memberikan kontribusi pada wacana tentang folklore, pelestarian budaya, dan pelayanan kesehatan berbasis komunitas dalam konteks masyarakat Melayu kontemporer.

[This study examines the taxonomy of meaning and typology of functions in superstitions under to birth, infancy, and childhood within the Malay Muslim in Riau. The paper talks denotative and connotative meanings in superstitious faith, while sees under education of kindness act and Tradition cultur saving. Denotative meanings provide factual advice, particularly concerning maternal and child health, while connotative meanings carry emotional, moral, and significance spiritual act. The typology of functions reveals that superstitions is reinforcing religious emotions, projecting societal desires, educating children, explaining natural phenomena, and offering comfort during crises. These faith functions are not only as intangible treasure cultural but also as informal edification process of social control and education. The article sees the importance of understanding local faith in culturally sensitive under early health interventions. With the traditional knowledge and modern practices, this study talks to telling folklore, to saving cultural heritage, and to serving community-based healthcare in Malay society.

The Softskill and Hardskill forms of Tunjuk Ajar Melayu in Nyanyi Panjang Bujang Si Undang Palalawan Society of Riau Province
This research is based on issues of tunjuk ajar inheritance that is no longer
exists. The purpose of this study is to reveal and explain the points of tunjuk ajar
Melayu Riau. This research is a content analysis research using qualitative
descriptive methods. The method in analyzing the data in this research is carried
out through three activities, namely: (1) data reduction, (2) data display, and (3)
concluding. The results of this study are 4, namely: (1) teaching value related
with the faith and piety in Nyanyi Panjang Bujang si Undang can be seen from
the indicators of the behaviour of believing in God, doing the commands and
leaving God's prohibitions, trustworthiness, sincerity, shame, low heart, and
obedience to mother and father; (2) Tunjuk ajar in Nyanyi Panjang Bujang si
Undang is reflected in the behaviour of saying as what it is, acting based on
truth, and being responsible; (3) the intelligence character found in Nyanyi
Panjang Bujang si Undang includes behavioural indicators, such as: directed,
logical, and analytical thinking, being able to find solutions, careful, far -sighted,
and the priority to study; and (4) nationality values in tunjuk ajar include
behavioural indicators relating to unity and integrity, cooperation, rights and
property, consensus agreement, and obedience to leaders
Sparkle Through Speech 3.0 Digital Dialogue: mastering communication skills / Nor Azilawati Mohamad Azmi and Rafidah Muhamad Sam
Akademi Pengajian Bahasa UiTMCPP bersama PTAR UiTMCPP, Pusat Pendidikan UPM, Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP), Indonesia, dan Podcaster Bakat Muda UiTMCPP telah menganjurkan Program Sparkle Through Speech 3.0 pada 14 dan 15 Februari 2024. Diadakan di PTAR UiTMCPP, program ini melibatkan 45 pelajar sekolah rendah dan anak-anak staf UiTM Cawangan Pulau Pinang. Antara aktiviti menarik termasuk sesi ice breaking "Who Am I?", "Positive Affirmation & Chant Creation", "Build and Describe" menggunakan Lego, serta bengkel "Speed Reading" oleh Puan Farleen Azrina Zamberi. Pada hari kedua, peserta mengikuti sesi Google Meet bersama Dr. Ridha Hasnul Ulya dari Universitas Negeri Padang dan sesi bersama Podcaster Bakat Muda, Whatnow? Jom Ah Lepak. Interactive E-Book Model Based on Local Wisdom as a Media for Learning Exposition Text Reading Skills
This study aims describes the process of designing an interactive e-book model based on the local wisdom of Minangkabau culture. This type of research is mixed methods or commonly known as mixed research methods. The mixed model used is a 4-D model consisting of four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research was conducted on students of class X of State High School 2 Padang. Innovative learning media are indispensable by students to be used independently in the learning process Indonesian. Therefore, research in interactive e-book models is used as one of the alternatives to overcome the limitations of learning media in exposition text reading skills. The results of this study describe the making of an interactive e-book model based on local wisdom of exposition text reading skills with a validity value of 94.44% with a very valid category. Based on the feasibility aspect of content obtained validity value of 97.50% with a very valid category. Based on the aspect of eligibility of validity, obtained a validity value of 89.28% with a very valid category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the interactive e-book for reading skills reading the exposition text of students of class X is valid and can be continued to the next stage
Pelatihan Menulis Berita bagi Siswa SMA Negeri 2 Painan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, Sumatera Barat
Pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilaksanakan ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan menulis berita pada siswa SMA Negeri 2 Painan, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, Sumatera Barat. Keterampilan menulis berita sangat penting bagi siswa sebagai bagian dari kemampuan literasi dan komunikasi, terutama dalam era informasi saat ini. Pelatihan ini diselenggarakan untuk memberikan pemahaman dasar mengenai teknik menulis berita yang baik dan benar, mulai dari penulisan judul, lead, hingga struktur berita yang jelas dan informatif. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam menyusun berita yang relevan dan menarik. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah pendekatan partisipatif, melalui pelibatan siswa secara langsung dalam proses menulis berita dengan bimbingan fasilitator. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan siswa menulis berita dilihat dari pengetahuan menulis berita, kemampuan praktis menulis berita, dan kreativitas dalam menulis. Selain itu, terdapat peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang etika jurnalisme dan cara memvalidasi informasi yang akan disampaikan. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini, siswa SMA Negeri 2 Painan, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan dapat lebih percaya diri dalam menulis berita yang berkualitas dan dapat memanfaatkannya sebagai sarana untuk berkomunikasi dan berbagi informasi di masyarakat.
