Observation Of Regional Language Use Patterns In Daily Interactions In Padang Traditional Markets
Regional languages are an important element in the formation of the social and cultural identity of local communities. In the midst of modernization, urbanization, and the dominance of Indonesian as the national language, the use of regional languages is experiencing interesting dynamics to be studied. Informal public spaces such as traditional markets are strategic places to observe people's natural language practices. This study aims to describe and analyze the pattern of use of regional languages, especially Minangkabau languages, in daily interactions between sellers and buyers in traditional markets in Padang City. This study uses a qualitative approach with participatory observation methods and speech recording. Data were collected through direct observation of verbal interactions, dialogue recording, and audio documentation with the informant's permission. Data analysis was carried out using a sociolinguistic approach with a focus on language selection, code switching, and code mixing. The results show that the Minangkabau language still dominates verbal interaction in traditional markets, especially in informal situations and between local speakers who share the same cultural background. Bahasa Indonesia is used selectively and strategically, especially when interacting with immigrant buyers, non-Minangkabau speakers, or in situations that demand clarity of meaning and more formal politeness. The phenomenon of code switching and code mixing is found quite frequently and reflects the speaker's linguistic flexibility in adapting the language to the social context, communication goals, and characteristics of the opponent. These findings show that traditional markets not only function as a center of economic activity, but also as a social and cultural space that plays an important role in maintaining the sustainability and vitality of regional languages in the midst of social changes in urban society

Uniqcall Education Learning Service Management Model to Improve Students' Self-Esteem at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Fatah Cikembang, Kertasari District, Bandung Regency
This study addresses the problem of low self-esteem among students in rural madrasah, which is primarily caused by uniform instructional practices and limited attention to learners’ psychological needs. Such conditions contribute to poor self-confidence, low motivation, and weak learning engagement. The purpose of this research is to develop and examine the effectiveness of the Uniqcall Education Learning Service Management Model in improving students’ self-esteem at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Fatah Cikembang, Kertasari District, Bandung Regency. The study is theoretically based on Self-Determination Theory, Self-Efficacy Theory, and Universal Design for Learning, which emphasize autonomy, competence, relatedness, and inclusive instructional design as foundations for positive student development. The research employed a Research and Development approach using the ADDIE model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and a standardized self-esteem questionnaire administered before and after the intervention. Quantitative analysis demonstrated a statistically significant increase in students’ self-esteem after the implementation of the Uniqcall Education model. The findings show strengthened dimensions of autonomy, competence, and social relatedness, supported by more personalized, collaborative, and technology-assisted learning services. The model successfully created meaningful learning experiences and improved student psychological well-being. This study concludes that the Uniqcall Education learning service management model is effective in enhancing self-esteem and supporting student development in madrasah contexts. The novelty lies in an integrated management model that combines psychological development principles with learner-centered services, positioning self-esteem improvement as a central outcome of educational management and offering a replicable framework for school quality improvement
POLITENESS AS DIVINE IDENTITY IN THE QUR’AN: A RELIGIO-PRAGMATIC ANALYSIS OF FACE-SAVING IN PROHIBITIVE DISCOURSE
This study explores how Qur’anic prohibition discourse constructs divine-human identity through the lens of religio-pragmatics. While the Qur’an is often perceived as an authoritative and dogmatic text, this research argues that its prohibitive expressions also serve as instruments of moral education, relational harmony, and spiritual identity formation. The study uses a detailed examination of certain Qur’anic verses that include prohibitions, analyzing them through a politeness framework developed by Culpeper and Gillings, which has been adjusted. Findings reveal that Qur’anic prohibitions embody three interrelated modes of politeness that reflect the identity dynamics between the Divine and humanity. First, solidarity and politeness reinforce collective belonging by framing prohibitions as moral collaboration, “we” rather than “you,” fostering empathy and shared accountability. Second, tentative politeness manifests as instructive humility, softening imperatives through advisory tone, metaphor, and divine empathy, thereby shaping a compassionate religious self. Third, deferential politeness underscores the transcendent hierarchy between humans and God, in which linguistic restraint and acknowledgement of divine authority construct the believer’s humble identity before theCreator. These modes together form an Islamic model of divine politeness, in which prohibitions function not as coercive acts but as relational speech that guides, educates, and dignifies the interlocutor. Thus, Qur’anic language simultaneously performs theological instruction and identity negotiation, embedding moral values within pragmatic interaction. The study concludes that politeness in Qur’anic prohibitions is a face-saving system rooted in divine compassion, shaping both individual piety and communal harmony. It contributes to expanding pragmatic theory toward sacred discourse, illustrating how politeness becomes a theological act of identityconstruction within Islamic communication ethics
Mapping the Challenges of Psychoanalytic Approaches in Group Guidance and Counseling: A Systematic Literature Review
