Religious Moderation for the Millennial Generation: An Islamic Education Perspective
The attitude of religious moderation is in the form of acknowledging the existence of other parties, being tolerant, respecting differences of opinion, and not imposing his will to use violence. This must be ingrained in the millennial generation of multicultural societies that share many traits. Diversity includes differences in culture, religion, race, language, ethnicity, tradition, etc. For example, in a multicultural society, tensions and conflicts between cultural groups often affect the harmony of life. This study explores religious moderation in the millennial generation from the perspective of Islamic education. This study uses the library research method in which the data comes from books, articles, and relevant scientific reports using the formulation of the problem. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. This study shows that religious moderation is not religious moderation, but there must be moderation in attitudes toward diversity. From an Islamic education perspective, religious moderation is developed by starting from oneself, being instilled early, and setting an example for others. Of course, it is hoped that tasamuh, commitment, humanist, and wasatiyah education will become integrated, whole, and universal, all of which cannot be separated, mutually reinforcing, and mutually beneficial, as the best ummah and with broad scientific insight
Investigating Students’ Perceptions of Team-Based Projects and TPACK Integration in English Language Learning
This study explores students’ perceptions of team-based project learning integrated with Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) in an English Teaching Methodology class at Syiah Kuala University. The research framework, adapted from Kemendikbud, focuses on six key stages: questioning, designing, scheduling, monitoring, assessing, and evaluating. Data were gathered from 30 students through a structured questionnaire and analyzed quantitatively, using percentage and interval ranges to determine perceptions. The results show that students held overwhelmingly positive views of team-based projects, with mean scores consistently falling in the ‘Agree’ to ‘Strongly Agree’ categories. Students valued the collaborative nature of the projects, which helped them develop critical skills such as critical thinking, creativity, and time management. The integration of TPACK further enriched their learning experience by facilitating meaningful application of technology in teaching. These findings suggest that team-based projects, when integrated with TPACK and guided by a structured framework, can significantly improve learning outcomes in English language education. Future research should investigate the long-term impacts of these approaches and address potential implementation challenges to enhance their effectiveness
RAHMAH EL-YUNUSIYAH; WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP THROUGH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
Women's leadership in the world of education is an interesting topic of study. Among the figures recorded in the history of education is Rahmah El Yunusiyah through educational institutions. During the Minangkabau era, women were viewed as having a very low status; they were treated like objects that could be used at will, exchanged, or even inherited. In fact, society at that time considered the birth of a girl child as a disgrace to the family, leading them to eliminate it by burying the infant alive. The research method employed was library research with a descriptive-analytical approach. The data was then analyzed using qualitative methods. The results of this research show that Rahmah el-Yunusiyah established Madrasah lil-banat, which later developed into the precursor of Diniyyah Putri School. She fought for women's rights by establishing a school specifically for women, from elementary school to university level. The effort to establish the Diniyyah Putri School was motivated by her concern over the social and cultural realities of the time, which did not support the development of women. Rahmah el-Yunisiyah's primary goal was to elevate the status of women in society through modern education grounded in Islamic values. Rahmah El-Yunusiyah's perspective on women's leadership and education refers to noble character that begins at home. Women must achieve a respectable position in society by improving their standard of living and having equal rights with men in obtaining educatio

This implementation is termed theo-anthropocentric basis (divinity and humanity). As for externally, strengthening the implementation is carried out because there are indeed regulations or rules that require it. The process of internalizing religious moderation values carried out is by integrating learning through images, videos (animation and non-animation), and cultural and religious studies outside of school. The achievement is that early childhood is able to implement religious moderation with four indicators in the foundation phase. Theoretical-practical research recommendations; increasing insight into religious moderation in educational institutions is important to be done periodically
The Effectiveness of Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) Strategy on Students' Reading Comprehension Moderated by Gender
The aim of this study was to analyse the effectiveness of the Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) strategy on the reading comprehension of eighth-grade students at SMPN 3 Luhak Nan Duo, compared to conventional strategies, and to examine the role of gender as a moderating variable. Using a quasi-experimental design with pre- and post-tests, the findings revealed that the DRTA strategy was significantly more effective than the conventional strategy in enhancing students’ reading comprehension (p 0.01). Gender also influenced performance (p 0.05), with female students tending to score higher than male students. However, no significant interaction was found between strategy and gender (p 0.05), indicating that the effectiveness of DRTA applies equally across genders. These results suggest that DRTA is an effective strategy for enhancing students' reading comprehension in junior high schools, with practical implications for teachers to adopt more interactive and gender-responsive reading instructio
