Penerapan Model Discovery Learning Berbasis Keterampilan Proses Untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep dan Keterampilan Kerja Ilmiah Siswa SMA
Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat penerapan konsep dan keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa dari penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning berbasis keterampilan proses sains. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimental dengan bentuk one froup pretes postest Design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 7 yang berjumlah 33 siswa pada materi laju reaksi. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 78% siswa mengalami ketuntasan dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 76,8 pada tes pemahaman konsep dan 100% siswa dapat menguasai keterampilan kerja ilmiah dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 91,5. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran model discovery learning
PELATIHAN MERANCANG PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI BAGI GURU IPA DAN IPS SMP DI KOTA PONTIANAK
Studi ini dilakukan dilatarbelakangi masih kurangnya pengetahuan dan ketertampilan guru SMP di kota Pontianak untuk merancang perangkat pembelajaran inkuiri, berupa RPP, LKS, asesmen, dan media KIT dalam  pembelajaran  IPA  dan  IPS. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyelenggaraan inservice berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran inkuiri menggunakan strategi lesson study berbasis MGMP. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa program IbM merancang  perangkat pembelajaran inkuiri pada guru yang tergabung dalam MGMP IPA dan MGMP IPS telah mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan, yaitu peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru IPA dan IPS dalam merancang perangkat pembelajaran inkuiri. MENGEMBANGKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MAHASISWA PGMIPAU PRODI KIMIA FKIP UNTAN MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan subjek 21 mahasiswa PGMIPAU FKIP Untan yang mengambil mata kuliah Basic Chemistry. Alat pengumpul data utama dalam penelitian ini tes berpikir kritis dan alat pengumpul data pembantu adalah lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan aktivitas mahasiswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan terjadinya perubahan ketuntasan dan kategori keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran , yaitu ketuntasan berubah dari 0% menjadi 95% dan kategori keterampilan berpikir kritis dari kurang terampil menjadi terampil. Keterlaksanaan tahapan pembelajaran inkuiri dari pertemuan I, II, dan III masing-masing terlaksana 100%. Aktivitas mahasiswa menunjukkan perilaku yang relevan dan yang kurang relevan dengan proses pembelajaran masing-masing sebesar 98% dan 2%. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri dapat mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa
PENERAPAN MODEL PROBLEM POSING BERSETTING COOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE PADA TOPIK ASAM BASA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGUASAAN KONSEP MAHASISWA
The low student understanding of concepts on the topic due to lack of acid base interaction with the material studied. This study aims to determine the conception of students, student influence and respond to the model after learning problems set Posing think pair share. The sample in this study is the students who attend a course basic chemistry II 2008/2009 school year in chemical education courses totaling UNTAN FKIP 23 people with a form of research design quasy experiment. Data collection techniques used is about the shape of the test and questionnaire response essays. The results showed that there are significant differences abilities before learning concepts with students after learning. The amount of influence of 7.49 with a very high category. Conceptions of students in accordance with the concept of the experts increased by 52.9%. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN BLOCK SYSTEM TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR PROSES INDUSTRI KIMIA SISWA KELAS XI SMTI PONTIANAK
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan prestasi belajar mata pelajaran PIK antara siswa yang diberi pembelajaran block system dengan siswa yang diberi pembelajaran sistem harian dan mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh pembelajaran block system terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran PIK siswa kelas XI SMTI Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Quasy Experimental. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 68 siswa terdiri dari 35 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 33 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol, dengan penentuan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar mata pelajaran PIK antara siswa yang diberi pembelajaran block system dengan siswa yang diberi pembelajaran sistem harian dan besar pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran block system terhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar sebesar 28,23%. The research method that used is quantitative method. This type of research is Quasy Experimental Design. This research samples are 68 students that consist of 35 students as an experimental class and 33 students as control class, with sampling use cluster random sampling. Data analysis technique that used is Independent Sample T-Test. The results of data analysis show that there are differences of learning achievement of CIP subject between students who are given block system learning with students who are given daily system learning and the big influence of application of block system learning on improvement of learning achievement is 28.23%. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
