No full textMGT 666 Industrial Training is a course offered by Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) to the final year students of Bachelor in Office Systems Management (Hons) or known as BA232. The term "industrial training" is used to describe the practise of placing students in an organization for a specific of time to provide them with real-world work experience. The goal of industrial training is to prepare students for the workforce by giving them hands-on experience in a genuine setting, as well as helping them grow in areas like work ethics, communication, and management. My 6 month of internship started at Royal Workshop Store, one of the business operation under Mados’s Holdings Sdn. Bhd. My industrial training venture began on 1st March 2023 until 15th August 2023. Royal Workshop Store was established on 12th April 2012. The office located at Jalan Sekakap, Kampung Sri Pantai, Mersing. Its operation including beach cleaning, automotive and agricultural activities. During my internship, I was appointed as office administrator under the Administrative Department. Some of my job scope including maintain record management, monitor the employees, supplies and workers claim, communication with supplier, handling supplies order and others. I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience that will help me to face working challenges in the future. This report will explain the journey and gains of my industrial training as a staff in Royal Workshop Store. There are eight sections discussed in this industrial training report. The first section consists of the preliminary page, executive summary, table of contents, and acknowledgement. The second section is the student’s profile and consists student’s latest resume which presents the background of student. Third section is company’s profile. In thi section, I will explain about company background, vision and mission, organizational structure, location of offices and the services offered by the company. The fourth section is training reflections which consist the explanation of duration, working day and time, department, roles and responsibilities, tasks assigned, and gains. The fifth section is important part which consist of SWOT Analysis. During the internship, I have identified its internal strengths and weaknesses and external opportunities and threats. The sixth section is discussion and recommendation where I have provided some elaboration and recommendations based on the SWOT Analysis. The seventh section is conclusion where I have summarized the sixth month journey of my internship. The eight section is references where I have listed all of the source used in writing this report. The last section of this report is appendices which contains related images of my internship. I hope that this report will fulfil the requirement of industrial training report guideline

Pengamatan dilakukan di Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda dan Olahraga Kota
Surakarta dan pengamatan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prosedur penggajian
pegawai negeri sipil (PNS) yang berada di Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda Dan Olahraga
Kota Surakarta. Jenis pegamatan ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif.
Penentuan Sumber Data diperoleh dari narasumber (informan), dokumen atau arsip,
serta peristiwa yang terjadi di lokasi pengamatan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang
dilakukan adalah wawancara dengan pegawai Sub Bagian Keuangan Dinas Dikpora
Kota Surakarta , observasi, serta dokumentasi.
Dalam laporan ini dijelaskan mengenai prosedur penggajian. Gaji merupakan
bentuk kompensasi periodik untuk pegawai yang bekerja dalam sebuah instansi, gaji
merupakan salah satu faktor yang menentukan performa pegawai yang mana
performa yang baik dapat mendukung pencapaian sebuah instansi. Prosedur
merupakan langkah dalam aktifitas untuk mencapai tujuan utama secara efisien dan
efektif. Di Sub Bagian Keuangan yang dilakukan dalam proses penggajian yaitu
seperti pembuatan SPP-LS dan SPM Gaji, setelah itu mencairan dana gaji yang
berupa SP2D tersebut di Bank jateng, dan proses yang terakhir yaitu membagikan
gaji tersebut ke para PNS dan membuatkan SPJ Gaji untuk dikirimkan ke DPPKA
sebagai tanda bukti bahwa dana tersebut sudah dibagikan ke para pegawai untuk
kemudian dibuatkan daftar gaji untuk bulan berikutnya
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Abstrak
Penelitian ini mengangkat permasalahan yaitu kemampuan menggambar motif batik dengan teknik pointilis oleh siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 9 Gowa. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA 5 sebanyak 220 orang dari 9 kelas dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 20 orang yang mengikuti mata pelajaran seni budaya di kelas X MIA 5 data yang di peroleh dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Kemanpuan Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 9 Gowa Dalam Menggambar Mootif Batik dengan teknik pointilis adalah baik dilihat dari nilai akhir dengan rata-rata yang diperoleh (67,25%) dan rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh pada setiap aspek yaitu, aspek kreativitas (68,92%), aspek orisinalitas (68,47%), aspek keharmonisan (67,75%).. dan aspek finishing (63,87%). Dari hasil penyajian data angket, menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas X MIA 5 mampu menggambar dengan baik dalam mengerjakan tugas menggambar batik dengan teknik pointilsi pada mata pelajaran seni budaya. Terbukti dari hasil angket yang dijawab oleh responden. Pada umunya responden yang menyatakan sangat senang sebanyak 14 orang (70%) dengan pelajaran menggambar ,6 orang (30%) menyatakan senang jika mata pelajaran menggambar, dan sangat senang sebanyak 1 orang (5 %) dengan pelajaran menggambar batik dengan teknik pointilis ,8 orang (40%) menyatakan senang jika mata pelajaran menggambar batik dengan teknik pointilis dan 11 orang (65%) menyatakan kurang senang menggambar batik dengan teknik pointilis. (2) Kendala yang dihadapi oleh siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 9 Gowa dalam menggambar batik dengan teknik pointilis adalah siswa mengalami tidak tersedianya fasilitas pendukung kegiatan pembelajaran misalnya tidak tersedianya ruang seni dan media pembelajaran yang sulit di peroleh oleh guru mata pelajaran seni budaya. Serta kesulitan saat proses penyelesaian gambarnya (finishing).

No full textIt is eye-opening to see how the real industry operates, and having exposure to both office and field work, as well as dealing with a diverse group of individuals, has taught me a plethora of soft and hard skills that I would not have gained in a classroom. Aside from that, I learned concepts that are not difficult to learn in a classroom when I became too interested in receiving oil and wash water from cargo ships. During the desludging of oil and wash water, I saw a variety of vessels and equipment. It has piqued my curiosity in becoming a better engineer in the future. I was also exposed to the real-life Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) plant size because of this practical training. I learned a lot about the facility, including the piping system and the processes of each piece of equipment

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Efektivitas Kegiatan Dakwah Di Masjid Jami’ Air Tiris Desa Tanjung Berulak Kecamatan Kampar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Efektivitas Kegiatan Dakwah di Masjid jami’. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dan dalam mengumpulkan data digunakan metode kuisioner/angket. Sampel diambil dengan tehnik sampling random yang berjumlah 20 responden dari 200 masyarakat di Dusun I Desa Tanjung Berulak Dan penelitian ini menggunakan tehnik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dan menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reabilitas dengan menggunakan alat bantu IBM SPSS Statistic 25 dan Microsoft Excel. Berdasarkan metode di atas diketahui bahwa hasil dari penelitian yang telah penulis lakukan dapat di ambil kesimpulan bahwa Efektivitas Kegiatan Dakwah di Masjid Jami’ Desa Tanjung Berulak Kecamatan Kampar adalah Baik, atau di persentasekan 74,8%. Persentase tersebut di dapat dari 3 aspek yaitu indikator kognitif memiliki persentasi sebesar 74,0% dan dikategorikan “Baik”. Indikator afektif memiliki persentasi sebesar 78,5% yang berada pada kategori “Baik”. Dan indikator psikomotor memiliki persentasi sebesar 71,9% dan berada pada kategori “Baik”. Berdasarkan persentase berdasarkan indikator, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa indikator yang paling dominan adalah indikator Afektif yang memiliki persentasi sebesar 78,5% dan dikategorikan “Baik”.

Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. E-retribution is program for making withdraw retribution using electronic. The purpose of this research is to know how this program is implemented by the Department of Trade Surakarta City. A Program can be assessed works or not depends on how this program’s implementation. This research which writer looks from the activity from the Department of Trade on how they implementing the e-retribution program. The activity included : Organization, Interpretation, and Application. This research method using descriptive qualitative. The data resources are from interview, observation, and documentation. Writer using purposive sampling technique to search the interviewee, to assure the data’s validity writer using data triangulation. The result of this research shows that the implementation of e-retribution Traditional market program can be done in 3 activities, organization activity, interpretation activity, and application activity. In the organization activity, Department of Trade Surakarta City has done to determine the implementor, budget, and target. Yet, in the social external that still not enough. Next in the application activity, Department of Trade has decided scheme process and mechanism to execute the program and present the tools and infrastructure to support e-retribution program Traditional market. But, this program hasn’t been implementing optimally because there’s still uncooperative seller and the way of using tapping machine not optimally yet.
