RUKYATUL HILAL INSTRUMENT DESIGN BASED ON ARDUINO
Arduino is a Microcontroller platform consisting of a computer chip that is used to control electronic equipment that is flexible and easy to use. In this modern era, the implementation of Rukyatul Hilal can be done using instruments such as Hilal locater, telescope and theodolite. However, these tools are quite expensive and have a fairly heavy load and require long time to prepare. Therefore, this research provides breakthroughs and new innovations in designing the Rukyatul Hilal Instrument based on Arduino. The research uses the Research and Development model type of research, the development model that the researcher will do is to develop an Arduino Microcontroller so that it can be used as a Rukyatul Hilal Instrument. Based on 4 observations of the Moon, The Arduino-based Rukyatul Hilal instrument can successfully show the position of the Moon and verify the data used by the author is correct and the author can also photograph the image of the Moon clearly using a smartphone. However, it should be noted that the position of the Moon when viewed from the Arduino-based Rukyatul Hilal Instrument telescope is not in the middle of the telescope, but sometimes at the bottom, side and top

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan urutan hotel berdasarkan kriteria hotel halal. Ukuran variabel dalam survei meliputi produk, layanan, dan pengelolaan berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Permenparekraf) no. 2 tentang implementasi ekonomi syariah yaitu hilal 1. HUKUM ASTROFOTOGRAFI DALAM RUKYATUL HILAL PENDEKATAN FIKIH KONTEMPORER
The main problem of this research is how is the law of astrophotography in rukyatul hilal using the contemporary fiqh approach? The main problem is then broken down into several sub-problems or research questions, namely: 1) What is the mechanism of Astrophotography in Rukyatul hilal?, 2) What are the views of classical and contemporary Ulama in Rukyatul Hilal. This type of research is classified as qualitative. The author specifically uses a sharia and astronomical approach. The data sources used are: primary data comes directly from data sources that are collected and related to the object of research while secondary data comes from scientific works related to the object of the problem being studied, to analyze the data used qualitative analysis techniques. The results of this study show differences of opinion regarding the views of classical and contemporary scholars. The views of classical scholars in the mazhab of fiqh such as the Syafi'i school of thought, for example Imam Nawawi in Al-Majmu' emphasized that Rukyatul Hilal is done with the eyes, not through or other tools. In the Syafi'i school of thought, one just person is enough to state that he has seen the hilal to determine the beginning of the Hijri month. The views of contemporary scholars such as Ahmad Rofiq added that Rukyatul Hilal is an instrument to implement the command to see the hilal based on the rukyat hadith. In order for someone to see the hilal, binoculars or other technology are used to reduce obstacles or difficulties. The implications of this study are that every study is expected to contribute to the problems studied and can be recommended to related parties for development. The presence of this article is expected to the government to provide a container or study related to the law of astrophotography in rukyatul hilal with a contemporary fiqh approach. In addition, it is expected that the full role of the younger generation will continue to study various fiqh studies related to matters related to worship.
 
Akuitas mata dalam kriteria visibilitas hilal
Tingkat Akuitas (ketajaman) mata manusia dalam melihat sebuah objek berbeda-beda. Hal ini berdampak pada tingkat keberhasilan perukyat dalam rukyatul hilal. Judhistira AU dan Binta menerapkan faktor akuitas ini ke dalam visibilitas hilal Kastner. Faktor tersebut dipakai sebagai klaim atas kasus pengamatan hilal yang tak terbantahkan. Hal ini merupakan corak pemikiran baru, terutama bagi perkembangan pemahaman visibilitas hilal di Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini penulis ingin mengetahui beberapa hal yaitu: 1) Bagaimana teori akuitas mata dalam visibilitas hilal? 2) Mengapa akuitas mata jarang dipakai dalam perumusan kriteria visibilitas hilal?. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data diambil dengan teknik dokumentasi, wawancara dan observasi. Sementara untuk analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif, eksplanatif dan komparatif.
Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Modifikasi yang dilakukan oleh Judhistira AU dan Binta dalam visibilitas Kastner secara umum telah sesuai dengan ilmu Astronomi dan Fisika Optik, meskipun ada beberapa koreksi yang tidak diterapkan karena keterbatasan alat dan teknologi seperti glare, penglihatan warna, adaptasi gelap terang, bentuk dan durasi melihat. 2) Kriteria visibilitas hilal yang ada selama ini bersifat global dan memang diterapkan untuk tujuan terciptanya kalender global tunggal, namun sayangnya harus mengabaikan faktor-faktor ilmiah seperti akuitas mata, karena secara ilmiah memang tidak ada kriteria yang dapat berlaku secara global. Dengan observasi sederhana penulis juga telah memperoleh kriteria visibilitas hilal untuk akuitas mata normal dalam bentuk parameter fisis (ARCV, ARCL, Umur, Lag Time, Lebar Hilal, dan DAz). Kriteria ini bersifat dinamis dan masih dapat berubah sesuai dengan jumlah data pengamatan, dan secara keilmuan, kriteria ini seharusnya dapat diterima karena telah sesuai dengan beberapa kriteria yang ada.
ABSTRACT
The sharpness level of the human’s eye in seeing an object are varies, and will impact on the success rate in observation. Judhistira AU and Binta have modified the Kastner’s visibility with eye’s acuity factor. This factor is used as a claim for a controversial case of observation. This is a new thinking, especially for the development of understanding of crescent’s visibility in Indonesia. In this study the authors research: 1) How the theory of eye’s acuity in crescent’s visibility applied? 2) Why eye’s acuity is rarely used in the formulation criteria of crescent’s visibility?. The type of this research is a qualitative research with case study approach. Data were taken with documentation, interview and observation techniques. While for data analysis use descriptive, explanative and comparative method.
The results of this study indicate that: 1) The modifications made by Judhistira AU and Binta in Kastner's visibility are generally consistent with Astronomy and Optical Physics term, although some corrections are not applied due to the limitations of tools and technologies such as glare, color vision, adaptation, object’s shape and duration of view. 2) The existing criteria of crescent’s visibility is a global criteria, and is applied for the purpose of creating a single global calendar, but unfortunately it ignores scientific factors such as eye’s acuity, because there is no criteria that can apply globally. With a simple observation the author has also formulated the crescent’s visibility criteria for normal eye’s acuity in the form of physical parameters (ARCV, ARCL, Age, Lag Time, Crescent’s Width, and DAz). This criterion is dynamic and can still change according to the amount of observational data, and scientifically, this criterion should be acceptable because it is in accordance with several criteria
Analisis Fotometri Kontras Visibilitas Hilal terhadap Cahaya Syafaq
Tesis ini mengkaji tentang fotometri hilal (bulan sabit) dengan menekankan kajian pada kontras cahaya visibilitas hilal (ketampakkan bulan sabit) terhadap cahaya syafaq (senja). Pemilihan kajian ini didasarkan pada kenyataan bahwa bulan merupakan fenomena fisis ekstraterestrial dan atmosferik yang sangat sulit untuk diamati dalam umur yang sangat muda, ketika intensitas cahaya syafaq lebih cerah dari cahaya hilal. Secara astronomis dapat diketahui bahwa posisi hilal sangat dekat dengan matahari. Munculnya hilal sangat singkat sesaat setelah matahari terbenam dan posisi hilal berdekatan waktunya dengan terbenamnya matahari, sehingga sering kali cahaya hilal kalah terang dibanding dengan cahaya syafaq.
Hilal tidak memiliki sumber cahaya sendiri. Hilal hanya memantulkan cahaya matahari. Bagian hilal yang tersinari dan menghadap ke arah bumi tampak lebih terang sesaat setelah maghrib. Karena bulan bergerak mengelilingi bumi, dari hari ke hari tempatnya berpindah-pindah. Inilah yang menyebabkan perubahan bentuk-bentuk bulan, mulai dari bentuk sabit, setengah lingkaran, bulat sempurna, kemudian setengah lingkaran lagi, dan terakhir kembali ke bentuk sabit (bulan tua).
Ketika matahari terbenam, cahayanya masih tetap terlihat sampai suatu kedudukan matahari berada sekitar 6 derajat di bawah horizon. Hal tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa cahaya syafaq sesaat setelah matahari terbenam masih sangat kuat yang memungkinkan mengalahkan cahaya hilal. Dalam keadaan normal bulan sabit sulit untuk diamati, karena kontrasnya cahayanya rendah, artinya cahaya hilal akan tenggelam dalam kemilaunya cahaya syafaq.
Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah di atas, maka yang menjadi pokok permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah, bagaimana memformulasikan kontras fotometri hilal dan kontras hilal -syafak yang memungkinkan agar hilal dapat terlihat. Pengukuran kuat cahaya (intensitas cahaya) hilal dan cahaya syafaq dilakukan dengan menggunakan kamera digital yang citranya diolah dengan software fotometri seperti IRIS 5.58.
Dalam rangka menemukan jawaban dalam permasalahan tersebut, dalam penelitian ini penulis merumuskan dan menurunkan metodologi penelitian berupa penelitian lapangan (Field Research), dengan data-data yang dihimpun dari hasil pengamatan dan citra hilal hasil pengamatan internasional kemudian diolah dengan software fotometri serta dilengkapi dengan data kepustakaan yang dianggap mewakili (representatif) dan terkait (relevan) dengan objek kajian ini. Sumber data utama (primary sources) dalam penelitian ini foto hilāl dan syafaq hasil pengamatan. Disamping itu, digunakan juga sumber data pendukung (secondary sources) yakni data berupa literatur astronomi untuk menjawab dan menganalisa dalam penelitian ini.
Dari penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa, hilal tidak mudah untuk diamati, ada batas kontras tertentu agar hilal dapat teramati. Akhirnya, dari rangkaian analisis yang penulis akan lakukan, tesis ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui secara objektif kuat intensitas cahaya hilal yang dapat teramati (visibilitas hilal) dalam kriteria penentuan awal bulan berdasarkan hasil observasi dan analisis, sehingga tesis ini dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam mengembangkan studi astronomi (falak), baik dalam ranah metodologis maupun ranah praktis, sehingga studi falak memiliki bangunan epistimologi keilmuan yang kuat seperti disiplin keilmuan yang lain. Setidaknya, tesis ini memberikan gambaran tentang model sebuah pendekatan integralistik-interdisipliner sebagai landasan akademik untuk lebih menekankan research dengan menajamkan hasil analisisnya.
ABSTRACT
This thesis examines photometry of the new moon (crescent) with emphasis on the contrast of light visibility studies hilal (crescent) to light syafaq (dusk). The selection of this study is based on the fact that the moon is extraterrestrial and atmospheric physical phenomena are very difficult to observe in a very young age, when the intensity of the light is brighter than the light syafaq and hilal. In astronomical new moon can be seen that the position is very close to the sun. The emergence of a very brief sighting of the moon shortly after sunset and moon position adjacent to the sunset time, so often times less bright than the moon light with light syafaq.
Hilal does not have its own light source. Hilal only reflect sunlight. Part of the new moon is illuminated and facing toward the earth looks much brighter just after sunset. Because the moon moves around the earth, from day to day where to move. This can lead to changes in the forms of the month, starting from the crescent shape, semi-circular, perfectly round, then a half circle again, and finally back to form a crescent (month old).
When the sun goes down, the light is still visible up to a position of the sun is about 60 below the horizon. This indicates that the light just after sunset syafaq still very strong that lets beat moon light. In normal circumstances it is difficult to observe the crescent moon, because of low contrast light, meaning light Hilal will be immersed in a light sheen syafaq.
Based on the background of the issues above, which are at issue in this study is, how to formulate the photometric contrast and contrast the new moon, new moon to new moon syafak allowing visible. Robust measurement of light (light intensity) and the moon light syafaq performed using a digital camera with image processing software photometry such as IRIS. 5-58.
In order to find answers to the problem, in this study the authors formulate and lowering of the research methodology of field research (Field Research), with data collected from observations and the international image of the new moon observations are then processed by the photometry software and equipped with a data library are considered to represent the (representative) and relevant (irrelevant) to the object of this study. The hypothesis in this study, the new moon is not easy to observe, there are certain limits in order to contrast the new moon can be observed. Finally, the author of a series of analyzes to be done, the thesis was to determine objectively stronger light intensity can be observed that the new moon (hilal visibility) in the early months of the determination criteria based on the observation and analysis, so that this thesis can contribute in developing the study of astronomy (celestial sphere), both in the realm of methodological and practical sphere, so the study of astronomy has deals with the means of building a strong science like other scientific disciplines. At least, this thesis provides an overview of models of an integrative-interdisciplinary approach as a basis for greater emphasis on academic research to sharpen the results of the analysis
The Role of Women in The Rukyat Hilal According to The North Aceh Ulema Consultative Assembly
The Role of Women in Rukyat Hilal According to the Majelis Permusyawaratan Ulama Aceh Utara (MPU). Rukyat hilal is a method used to determine the beginning and end of the month of Kamariah. And along with the birth of the Falak Science study program in Indonesia, many also mastered falak science. One of the interesting things is the existence of female phallic experts and their role in determining the beginning of the Hijri month. This rukyat hilal activity is carried out collectively by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Ulema Consultative Assembly, BMKG and other community groups. From this background, the author is interested in studying the role of women in seeing hilal in North Aceh Regency based on the perspective of MPU. This research is a qualitative research, with a field approach (field research). The data collection method uses interview and documentation techniques. The results of this study show that the role of a woman in determining the beginning and end of the month in North Aceh according to the Majelis Permusyawaratan Ulama Aceh Utara there are two. First, if a woman is only a participant who participates in the Rukyat Hilal event, then this is allowed. Second, if a woman reports seeing hilal, then her testimony is not considered valid and rejected. Rukyat hilal merupakan suatu metode yang digunakan untuk menentukan awal dan akhir bulan Kamariah. Dan seiring lahirnya porgram studi Ilmu Falak di Indonesia, maka banyak pula yang menguasai ilmu falak. Salah satu hal yang menarik adalah keberadaan ahli falak perempuan dan perannya dalam penentuan awal bulan hijriyah. Kegiatan rukyat hilal ini dilakukan secara kolektif oleh Kementerian agama, Majelis Permusyawaratan Ulama, BMKG dan golongan masyarakat lainnya. Dari latar belakang tersebut, penulis tertarik mengkaji terkait peranan perempuan dalam melihat hilal di Kabupaten Aceh Utara berdasarkan perspektif MPU. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan pendekatan lapangan (field research). Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran seorang perempuan dalam penentuan awal dan akhir bulan kamariah di Aceh Utara menurut Majelis Permusyawaratan Ulama Aceh Utara ada dua. Pertama, apabila seorang perempuan hanya sebagai peserta yang ikut dalam acara Rukyat Hilal, maka hal ini diperbolehkan. Kedua, jika seorang perempuan tersebut melapor melihat hilal, maka kesaksiannya tidak dianggap sah dan ditolak
Akurasi perhitungan awal bulan menggunakan konsep awamil hilal
Indonesia banyak para pakar ilmu falak yang mengapdikan karyanya dengan dibukukannya berbagai sistem hisab untuk penentuan awal bulan.salah satunya hisab awal bulan didalam buku Accurate Hilali . Karya Ali Mustofa.hisab ini menggunakan metode hisab hakiki konteporer, karena rumus yang di pakai adalah rumus konstantan dan juga sudah dilakukan beberapa koreksian melalui data matahari dan bulan.
Penelitian ini membahas mengenai: 1.) Bagaimana metode perhitungan awal bulan dengan menggunakan konsep awamil hilal 2.) Bagaimana akurasi metode awal bulan dengan meggunakan konsep awamil hilal. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan (Library Research) yaitu dengan mengkaji dan menganalisis terhadap buku Accurate Hilali. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini, yaitu : wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapaun data primer diperoleh langsung dari buku Accurate Hilali, hasil wawancara dengan pengarang buku tersebut yaitu Ali Musthofa. Sedangkan data sekunder lain berasal dari literatur dan dokumen berupa buku, tulisan, makalah dan penelitian sebelumnya yang berkaitan dengan obyek penelitian.
Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan yaitu, buku Accurate Hilali ini menggunakan metode hisab Hakiki Kontemporer yang hasilnya akurat menggunakan perbandingan buku ini dengan sistem Ephemeris.

This research is a type of qualitative research by using library research (Library Research) namely by reviewing and analyzing the Accurate Hilali.

PARTISIPASI PEREMPUAN DALAM PROSES RUKYAT HILAL UNTUK PENENTUAN AWAL BULAN HIJRIYAH DI KOTA MAKASSAR
Abstract
This research discusses women's participation in the Rukyat Hilal process to determine the start of the Hijriyah month in Makassar City. This research uses research (field research) using qualitative methods. The approach used by the author is a syar'i approach and a sociological approach. According to the data source, the data in this research is divided into two data, namely primary data and secondary data. Women's participation in the rukyat Hilal process in Makassar City shows a variety of views, with some opinions supporting women's participation without exception, while others highlight individual abilities and capacities rather than just gender. The public's perception of women's participation in the rukyat Hilal process in Makassar City shows an inclusive attitude towards gender roles in religious activities. The community sees women's participation as a positive step to broaden understanding about determining the start of the Hijriyah month, without being limited by gender factors. Supporting factors for women's participation in the Hilal rukyat process include a high level of education, increased gender awareness, women's leadership in religious communities, and an inclusive religious mindset. However, there are also inhibiting factors such as traditions and social norms, lack of awareness of women's rights, gender discrimination, and an imbalance of power between men and women in religious structures. The implication of this research is to further support women's participation in the rukyat Hilal process such as raising awareness and wider education on women's rights and the importance of gender inclusion in religious activities and supporting women's leadership development in religious communities by providing equal opportunities to participate in decision-making and important roles in the rukyat Hilal process
Peningkatan kontras astrofotografi hilal dengan buffle dan infrared filter : studi ukur fotometri astrofotografi dengan Algoritma Michelson contrast pada Aplikasi AstroImageJ
Banyak pelaku rukyatulhilal yang telah menggunakan teknologi terbaru astrofotografi hilal. Susahnya rukyatulhilal akibat pengaruh sebaran cahaya senja yang mengganggu ketampakan Hilal mendasari penulis untuk menguji penggunaan instrumen tambahan guna peningkatan kontras hilalnya. Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Bagaimana penerapan fotometri perumusan Michelson Contrast guna uji kontras hilal menggunakan Aplikasi AstroImageJ? (2) Bagaimana pengaruh perubahan kontras hilal pada penggunaan astrofotografi hilal dengan Buffle dan Infrared Filter?. Studi ini menggunakan metode kualitatif lapangan dengan pendekatan multidisipliner dan menggunakan analisis deskriptif untuk memberi penggambaran umum terkait peningkatan kontras menggunakan instrumen tambahan berupa Buffle dan Infrared Filter, dan juga menarik kesimpulan.
Hasil analisis 24 data dari 4 tanggal rukyatulhilal pada penelitian ini memiliki kondisi hilal termuda berumur 31 jam setelah konjungsi dengan nilai elongasi 16º, simpulannya adalah (1) Penerapan fotometri kontras pada astrofotografi Hilal membutuhkan prosedur berupa pengukuran sistematis dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. (2) Pengaruh perubahan pada peningkatan kontras hilal sangat baik berdasar penggunaan Buffle atau Infrared Filter serta penggunaan keduanya secara bersamaan. Dampak pada penggunaan instrumen tersebut terdapat kesamaan dan perbedaan berdasar karakternya masing-masing.

ABSTRACT:
Many rukyatulhilal practitioners have used the latest hilal astrophotography technology. The difficulty of rukyatulhilal is due to the influence of the distribution of twilight light, which interferes with the appearance of the Hilal and motivates the author to test the use of additional instruments to increase the contrast of the crescent moon. The problems studied in this research are as follows: (1) How is the photometry formulation of the Michelson Contrast applied for the hilal contrast test using the AstroImageJ Application? (2) How does the change in hilal contrast affect the use of hilal astrophotography with Buffle and Infrared Filter? This study uses qualitative field methods with a multidisciplinary approach. It uses descriptive analysis to provide a general description of contrast enhancement using additional instruments in the form of Buffle and Infrared Filter, and it also concludes.
The analysis of 24 data from 4 rukyatulhilal dates in this study showed that the youngest Hilal was 31 hours after conjunction with an elongation value of 16º. The conclusions are as follows: (1) The application of contrast photometry in Hilal astrophotography requires procedures in the form of systematic and accountable measurements. (2) The effect of changes in increasing the contrast of the Hilal is perfect based on the use of Buffle or Infrared Filter and the use of both simultaneously. The impact of using these instruments has similarities and differences based on their respective characteristics.

استخدم العديد من ممارسي ركياتولهلال أحدث تقنيات التصوير الفلكي الهلالي. إن صعوبة الركيات بسبب تأثير توزيع ضوء الشفق الذي يتداخل مع مظهر الهلال يدفع المؤلف إلى اختبار استخدام أدوات إضافية لزيادة تباين الهلال. المشاكل التي تمت دراستها في هذا البحث هي (1) كيف يتم تطبيق الصيغة الضوئية لتباين ميكلسون في اختبار تباين الهلال باستخدام تطبيق AstroImageJ؟ (2) كيف يؤثر التغير في تباين الهلال على استخدام التصوير الفلكي للهلال باستخدام Buffle وInfrared Filter؟ تستخدم هذه الدراسة أساليب ميدانية نوعية ذات نهج متعدد التخصصات وتستخدم التحليل الوصفي لتقديم وصف عام لتعزيز التباين باستخدام أدوات إضافية في شكل Buffle ومرشح الأشعة تحت الحمراء، وكذلك استخلاص النتائج.
نتائج هذا البحث هي (1) إن تطبيق قياس التباين الضوئي في التصوير الفلكي للهلال يتطلب إجراءات في شكل قياسات منهجية ومسؤولة. (2) تأثير التغيرات في زيادة تباين الهلال جيد جداً اعتماداً على استخدام Buffle أو Infrared Filter واستخدام كليهما في وقت واحد. إن تأثير استخدام هذه الأدوات له أوجه تشابه واختلاف بناءً على خصائص كل منها.

An Analysıs of the Turkısh Translatıon of Obscene Words in Jeanette Wınterson S Wrıtten on the Body and Sexıng the Cherry in the Lıght of Relevance Theory and Norm Theory
Word choice plays a substantial role in the style of the author because it is specifically chosen by the author among many other linguistic options. In this sense, word choices, are important elements to be considered during the translation process. Literary texts go through the translation process for the target audience s reading experience which may not be similar to the reading-experience of the source-text readers. Based on the assumption of Relevance Theory that people can communicate as long as they share mutual contextual knowledge, this study dwells on the analysis of the Turkish translations of Jeanette Winterson s Written on the Body (Bedende Yazılı, 2013) and Sexing the Cherry (Vişnenin Cinsiyeti, 2000) done by Süheyla Çağlayan Mathews and Pınar Kür, respectively.The study also refers to Gideon Toury s norm theory to dwell on why the obscene words might have been euphemized in Bedende Yazılı.Kelime seçimleri yazarın biçeminde son derece önemli bir rol oynamaktadır, zira yazar bu seçimleri mevcut diğer birçok dilbilimsel seçenek arasından özellikle seçmektedir. Bu bağlamda, kelime seçimleri, çeviri sürecinde dikkate alınması gereken önemli hususlardır. Çeviri söz konusu olduğunda, bu noktaya özellikle dikkat edilmesi gerekir, çünkü edebi metinlerin çevrilmesinin nedeni kaynak metnin okuyucularından daha farklı bir okuma süreci deneyimleyecek bir okur kitlesine hitap etmektedir.
