Replication Data for: "The Taliban's return to power: An empirical analysis of the Afghan peace negotiations of 2018–2020" Defence and Peace Economics
This replication package contains all the code necessary for data cleaning, as well as the transformed dataset relevant to the paper entitled "The Taliban's Return to Power: An Empirical Analysis of the Afghan Peace Negotiations of 2018–2020". Please note that data restrictions are in place; therefore, I am unable to share the raw ACLED data and Afghanistan districts layer. The raw ACLED data can be directly downloaded by any registered user from the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED) at https://acleddata.com.
Detailed information on data cleaning is available within the shared codes, and the process is further explained in the main paper and the accompanying README file. This information should enable anyone with access to the ACLED dataset to computationally replicate all the results. However, the event study results using the raw data depend on the availability of Afghanistan's district shape layer from the National Information and Statistics Authority, which includes 400 districts
EPISTEMOLOGI KITAB TAFSIR SURAT AL-FATIHAH KARYA KH. SUHAIMI RAFIUDDIN
Kajian tafsir-tafsir di Indonesia selalu menarik untuk dikaji, karena selain banyak ragam penafsiran yang terkandung di dalamnya, banyak juga tafsir-tafsir di Indonesia yang belum terjamah atau masih sedikit yang mengkaji. Salah satu kitab tafsir tersebut adalah kitab Tafsir Surat Al-Fatihah KH. Suhami Rafiuddin Banyuwangi. Penulis merasa perlu meneliti kitab tersebut karena kitab tersebut juga bagian dari khazanah dari tafsir di Indonesia yang masih jarang diteliti.
Fokus kajian dalam penelitian adalah salah satu karya dari KH. Suhaimi Rafiuddin yaitu kitab yang berjudul Tafsir Surat Al-Fatihah dengan menggunakan pendekatan epistemologi tafsir. Epistemologi dipilih sebagai pisau analisis utama dengan tambahan metodologi tafsir Islah Gusmian sebagai teori pelengkap dalam menentukan karakteristik tafsir. Sehingga menghasilkan tiga pertanyaan yaitu: bagaimana setting historis penafsir beserta kitabnya, bagaimana epistemologi kitab Tafsir Surat Al-Fatihah KH. Suhaimi, serta apa karakteristik dari kitab tersebut.
Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa kitab Tafsir Surat Al-Fatihah terlahir dari seorang ulama sekaligus aktivis organisasi agama di daerah Banyuwangi yaitu KH. Suhaimi Rafiuddin. Dengan latar belakang keilmuan penafsir maka pada gilirannya hal tersebut berimplikasi terhadap penafsiran yang dibangun dalam kitab tafsirnya. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan epistemologi, maka dapat diketahui bahwa dalam melakukan penafsiran, Pertama KH. Suhaimi menggunakan sumber Al-Qur’an, Hadis, kitab tafsir terdahulu, qirā’at, dan pendapat mufassir sendiri. Kedua, bentuk tafsirnya adalah al-iqtirān, dengan metode taḥlīli, serta bercorak lughawī, ṣūfy dan adābi ijmitā’i. Ketiga, dalam hal validitasnya, penafsiran KH. Suhaimi kurang sesuai dengan teori koherensi, korespondensi, tetapi sesuai dengan teori pragmatisme

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran Lembaga Dakwah Kampus dalam membentuk perilaku beragama mahasiswa dan mendeskripsikan kendala yang dihadapi Lembaga Dakwah Kampus dalam membentuk perilaku beragama mahasiswa.
Jenis penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian deskriktif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yaitu mendeskripsikan dan menginterprestasikan data-data yang ada untuk menggambarkan realitas sesuai dengan fenomena yang sebenarnya. Teknik pengumpulan datanya dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penentuan informan dilakukan melalui purposive sampling Dengan informan yang dipilih secara sengaja dengan kriteria tertentu yang sudah ditentukan sebanyak 15 orang. Mulai dari angkatan 2008 sampai dengan angkatan 2012 yang merupakan mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peranan lembaga dakwah kampus dalam membentuk perilaku mahasiswa adalah sebagai tempat mendalami ajaran agama (Tarbiyah Islamiyah) dengan cara memberikan pengetahuan keagamaan kepada mahasiswa melalui pembinaan-pembinaan keagamaan yang dilakukan secara intensif sehingga terciptalah suasana religious ditengah-tengah masyarakat kampus. Perilaku beragama itu dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya kesadaran untuk menjadikan Islam menjadi pondasi hidup para anggotanya. Hal lain yang terlihat adalah dampak dari kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh LDK seperti munculnya kesadaran untuk meningkatkan intensitas ibadah kepada Allah, dapat mencegah perilaku anarkis, narkoba, pergaulan bebas, memiliki kesadaran untuk berhijab secara sempurna bagi wanita (akhwat) dan lain-lain.
Adapun kendala yang dihadapi dalam membentuk perilaku keagamaan mahasiswa diantaranya kurangnya rasa tanggung jawab dan kepemilikan bersama terhadap lembaga dakwah ini, serta adanya isu-isu negative yang dihembuskan oleh oknum yang tidak bertanggung jawab menjadikan gerakan dakwah terhambat

Physical risk factor and musculoskeletal disorders symptoms among employee at automotive industry / Rafiuddin Othman
Background: A musculoskeletal disorder is a disease that will affect the muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, peripheral nerves, and supporting blood vessels. Methodology: The study was conducted in an automotive manufacturing industry (MODENAS SDN BHD) located at Gurun, Kedah Darul Aman. The study location is in the final assembly section which is installed with the component of automotive. The study design of this study is cross-sectional study. Sampling data collection was using Modified Nordic Muscular-Skeletal-Disorder Questionnaire, oral interview, Body Parts Symptoms Survey (SPSS), photograph and video, observation and Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA). Results: The study was found that most of the workers exposed group get MSDs symptom at upper back 20(66.7%), followed by lower back 19(63.3%), low leg18 (60%), and ankle 17(56.7%). While in control group are shoulder 19(63.3%), neck 18(60%), wrist 15(50%), and lower back 15(50%). For SPSS result, the exposed workers are extremely uncomfortable at upper back, lower back, knees and ankle or feet. In control group workers, tQey are very uncomfortable at neck. Most of the physical risk factor among exposed group is prolonged standing 24(80%) followed by bending 19(63.3%) and over weight lifting 16(53.3%). While in control group, most of the physical risk factor is awkward postures 27(90%) followed by bending 7(23.3%) and over reaching 7(23.3%). Most of workers in assembly line (exposed) are getting score 5 in RULA assessment, followed by score 4, 3, 6 and 7. It shows that the persons are working in a poor posture with a risk of injury from their work posture. It needs to be investigated- and changed in the near future to prevent an injury and the MSDs symptoms among workers. Conclusion: In conclusion, the physical risk factor in the work environments can lead to symptoms of MSDs. There is a high prevalence symptom of MSDs in assembly workers. With the current conditions in the automotive industry, it must be some changes in work organisation to improvements safety and health especially in ergonomic problem
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Abstract
This research aims at discovering the motivation and cognitive learning result in Biology subject of grade X students at SMAN 1 Batang taught by using PBL (Problem Based Learning) and NHT (Numbered Heads Together) models, and investigating the differences of motivation and cognitive learning result in Biology subject of grade X students at SMAN 1 Batang by using PBL and NHT models. The type of this research is quasi experiment with use pretest and posttes non-equivalent control group design. The research is conducted on the first semester of academic year 2015/2016 on January to February 2016 at SMAN 1 Batang in Jeneponto district. The population of this research is the entire students of grade X at SMAN 1 Batang of academic year 2015/2016 which consist of 4 classes. The sampling technique used is random sampling technique and obtains two classes, X MIA 1 with 40 students and X MIA 2 with 40 students. Both classes is taught by using two different learning types, class X MIA 1 uses PBL and class X MIA 2 uses NHT. The research instruments are cognitive learning result and motivation questionnaires of the students learning process. The data is analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistic (Anacova with α = 0,05) with the assistances of SPSS 20.0 for windows program. The research reveals that (i) there are differences of students’ learning motivations on Plants lesson material between the one using PBL model and NHT model. The students learning motivation using PBL model is higher than the one using NHT model implementation; (ii) there are differences of students’ cognitive learning result on Plants lesson material between the students using PBL model and the one using NHT model. The students’ learning result using PBL model is higher than NHT model implementation.

Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
