Il modello organizzativo dipartimentale nel Servizio sanitario nazionale: risultati dell’indagine nazionale

During the ’90s the Italian national health service has undergone important reforms. These introduced new organizational and managerial models within hospitals. The main aim of the new organizational model, named clinical directorate, is the coordination of specialized care services. Moreover clinical directorates have been recognised as the context in which clinical governance tools can be developed. The study presents methods and results of a national wide survey of the introduction of clinical directorates in Italian public hospitals and local health units performed in 2005. The survey was conducted by Italian Ministry of Health in collaboration with the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Rome

This article investigates the intermedial trajectories of Ti ho sposato per allegria, following the first comedy written by Natalia Ginzburg from its first representation on stage (1966), to the radiodramma (radio-drama), 1967, and then to its cinematographic adaptation of the same year, all directed by Luciano Salce. The perspective adopted intertwines the work of the author with the gazes of the two actresses who have starred in the main role, Adriana Asti and Monica Vitti. The analysis is based on varied and lesser-known sources such as theatre and radio scripts, the screenplay, theatre reviews and autobiographical writings

Performance Evaluation of Asphalt Concrete Modified by Polyolefins Through Dry and Wet Process

AbstractPolymer modification in road paving applications enables significant improvement in road service life as regards main distresses such as rutting, fatigue and thermal cracking. Polymer modification can be performed through a dry or wet process, and it may lead to mixtures with different mechanical properties depending on the modification process employed. In this context, this paper presents a laboratory investigation concerning the effect of a polyolefinic additive (PO) on the mechanical response of asphalt concrete produced by dry and wet process. Mechanical characterization consisted of wheel tracking tests at 40 and 60°C for rutting resistance analysis and semi-circular bending tests at 10°C for cracking behaviour analysis. Results showed higher rutting resistance of PO modified asphalt concretes (AC) compared to the control mixtures, but they were found to be more temperature sensitive denoting a penalized rutting response at higher temperature. PO modified ACs also showed higher fracture toughness and reduced fracture energy. In particular, the dry process seems to guarantee an ability of deformation such as better endurance of cracking propagation with respect to the mixture produced by the wet process

PIV-based study of a cylindrical roughness element in a hypersonic laminar-boundary layer

    No full text
In this study, the mean flow organization in the symmetry plane of the recirculation region ahead of a cylindrical roughness element immersed in an incoming laminar boundary layer at Mach number equal to 6.5 is investigated. The flow topology is inspected with planar particle image velocimetry (PIV), InfraRed (IR) Thermography and Schlieren flow visualization. The flow approaching the roughness element forms a main recirculation region ahead of the cylinder leading edge. The reattachment vortex is the responsible of a heat flux local peak in front of the protuberance. Secondary, a more complex system of vortices is observed upstream of the protuberance, which also corresponds to the local maximum of turbulent kinetic energy and wall heat transfer.Aerodynamics, Wind Energy & PropulsionAerospace Engineerin

A unique and threatened deep water coral-bivalve biotope new to the Mediterranean Sea offshore the Naples megalopolis. Scientific Reports, 9, (2019):3411, doi:10.1038/s41598-019-39655-8.The Gulf of Naples is an example of the most beautiful and biodiverse marine regions of the Mediterranean Sea and of the most impacted areas in terms of industrial activities, large contaminated areas, resource exploitation, infrastructures at sea and maritime transportation. We conducted Remotely Operated Vehicle surveys in the Dohrn Canyon in the Tyrrhenian Sea at approximately 12 NM off Naples metropolitan area, and revealed a hotspot of deep-sea benthic biodiversity of sessile fauna at ca. 400 m depth. The hard bottoms are characterized by a high abundance of charismatic species, such as the habitat forming cold-water corals (CWC) Madrepora oculata, Lophelia pertusa, Desmophyllum dianthus in association with the large size bivalves Acesta excavata and Neopycnodonte zibrowii. This CWC-bivalve co-occurrence represents a novel biotope for the Mediterranean Sea, which coexists with the evidence of severe anthropogenic threats, such as illegal dumping and fishery malpractices that were visually documented during the survey. We recommend the adoption of specific protection measures to preserve these unique deep-sea assemblages showing the uncommon co-existence of such a number of deep-sea species in a single habitat.Captain, crew and shipboard staff of RV Minerva Uno are acknowledged for their efficient and skilful cooperation at sea during ANOMCITY2016 (Chief Scientist Elvira Oliveri), Strategia Marina Ligure/Tirreno (Chief Scientist Lorenzo Angeletti) and MSFD-IT-2-2017 (Chief Scientist Alessandro Remia) oceanographic cruises. Mariacristina Prampolini and Valentina Grande are especially acknowledged for data acquisition and elaboration of the morphobathymetric maps. We thank François Galgani for advice on marine litter typology. We thank two anonymous reviewers for positive comments that helped improving the clarity of the text.
