Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Inquiry untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan berpikir Analitis Siswa Kelas X IPS 2 MAN Kota Batu
No full textPembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru masih didominasi ceramah, sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa. Rata-rata nilai kelas X IPS 2 mata pelajaran geografi merupakan nilai yang terendah dibandingkan kelas X IPS lainnya di MAN Kota Batu. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa kelas X IPS 2 MAN Kota Batu melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Inquiry pada materi Hidrosfer. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus. Rancangan PTK yang digunakan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dua cara yaitu tes yang dilakukan pada setiap akhir siklus dan observasi catatan lapangan.Analisis data yang digunakan berupa data kuantitatif yang selanjutnya akan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPS 2 MAN Kota Batu. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa diterapkannya pembelajaran Inquiry dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa. Hasil analisis kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa pada pra siklus nilai rata-rata sebesar 65. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata sebesar 69. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata sebesar 79. Dari hasil nilai rata-rata kemampuan berpikir analitis dari pra siklus ke siklus I mengalami peningkatan sebesar 5,80%. Dari siklus I ke siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 12,65%. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari hasil ini bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Inquiry dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir analitis geografi siswa kelas X IPS 2 MAN Kota Batu

No full textBETWEEN PUBLIC AND COMMUNAL INTERESTS: A LEGALITY ISSUE OF FORCED EVICTIONS OCCURRING IN JAKARTA
Get PDFForced evictions are considered to be a "global epidemic" since they occur in several countries regardless of the state's development level. Private ownership issues and development issues are examples of rationales given for forced evictions. Under the human rights regime, all States are obliged to refrain from carrying out any evictions; moreover, all States are required to adopt measures preventing forced evictions from happening or provide the victims with legal mechanisms to challenge the policies if evictions occur. International law prohibits forced evictions and offers guidance for forced eviction triggered by development. This paper will investigate the legality of forced evictions happening in Jakarta, Indonesia, and will critically examine whether the forced evictions are in contravention of the international obligations to which Indonesia has subscribed, or whether such evictions can be justified by their being in the public interest. The author argues that in the name of development, a conflict of interest may exist between the larger public interest and the interest of the evicted community. Since forced evictions are associated with violations of human rights, especially the right to adequate housing, the interests of both the public and the community should be given more attention, particularly where forced evictions cannot be avoided

No full textThe Omnichannel adoption strategy in Indonesia is still low. After the Covid-19 pandemic, many companies are implementing Buy Online Pick Up in Stores. The purpose of this study is to assess the relationship customer acceptance perception factors on Buy Online Pick Up In Store of KlikIndomaret and Alfagift towards Behavioral Intention. The author used the UTAUT2 Theory. In this study the author uses a mix method approach. In-depth interviews and netnography and analyse it using manual coding and the quantitative approach using questionnaires.The descriptive analysis using Multiple Linear Regression (MLR), Cross Tabulation and Chi-square. The result of this study is the significant positive effect of the customer perception on the intention to use Buy Online Pick Up In Store service was only for Performance Expectancy, Compatibility,Trust, Service Effectiveness and Problem Handling. Other factors have a negative effect of intention to use Buy Online Pick Up In Store service. The demographic also plays important roles especially Age, gender and experience has a positive effect on Trust. AN INQUIRY ON JAPANESE LANGUAGE EDUCATION IN INDONESIA: A FOCUS ON THE CURRICULUM AND ITS’ IMPLEMENTATION
Get PDFThe number of Japanese language learners in Indonesia has reached second place in the world (The Japan Foundation, 2015). However, Japanese language skills of learners in Indonesia are still very far behind from other countries, especially China and South Korea. Therefore, this study aims to discuss the causes of the lack of development on Japanese language learning abilities in Indonesia with the curriculum approach used. To answer these problems, author analysed data by The Japan Foundation, interviewed Japanese language teachers at one national high school in Bandung, and reviewed the curriculum that was being used. The results showed that most of Japanese language learners in Indonesia are at the secondary education level and mostly are high school students. However, the purpose of the Japanese language teaching curriculum in high schools in Indonesia does not require students to master Japanese to the upper level. Therefore, even though the number of Japanese language learners in Indonesia is large, but because the target of language acquisition is low, the Japanese language ability also tends to be low

Get PDFThis thesis is presenting an analysis of how the main characters, Sara and Charlie undergo their absence of parents in the novel written by American author; Betsy Cromer Byars, titled The Summer of the Swans. Sara Godfrey, one of the main characters, is portrayed as the protagonist character that is not satisfied with her appearance. Charlie as her brother suffered from weakness of physical deflects. She was living with her Aunt Willie’s home after her mother died. This thesis will analyze Sara Godfrey characterization and also her mental development undergone as the impact of her parents’ absence. New Criticism is the theory that will be used in this thesis and which only focuses on the novel instead of the author’s intention. This thesis focuses on the relationship between formal elements in the novel to support the topic of the analysis. The data analysis is descriptive-qualitative and the method in data collecting is close reading and quoting lives related to the topic discussed which is supported by any other related references such as journals, book or online. The end of the analysis the writer found that Sara as the main character becomes understand that family is more important than material things or being modest. It is shown in the incident when Sara finally found Charlie by the help of others. She felt that Charlie is more important than being modest or more perfect in physical appearance
