Особливості організації мовно-літературної освіти молодших школярів в умовах НУШ
No full textThe article describes the peculiarities of the organization of linguistic and literary education of younger students in the conditions of the New Ukrainian School. The author used the normative documents, typical educational programs, methodical recommendations, author’s educational programs, textbooks and manuals.The author has substantiated that the linguistic and literary education sector focuses on the study of mother tongue and, at the same time, foreign language for the formation of foreign language communication skills. Thus, it was expanded the field of communication, the potentials and needs of the individual in intercultural communication are foreseen.The formed communicative and reading competence of the child becomes the purpose of studying the Ukrainian language and literature.The implementation of the linguistic and literary education sector has been implemented in textbooks that have been offered for more than ten, but for the most part they do not meet all the requirements of the New Ukrainian School.The purpose of the research is to substantiate the peculiarities of the organization of lin-guistic and literary education of younger students in the conditions of the New Ukrainian SchoolIt has been proved that the linguistic and literary education branch is aimed at the comprehensive development of the child and the formation of one of the most important competences – communicative. Being able to speak is an important feature of a person, regardless of their profession. Mastery of the word enables interaction in society, sharing of own thoughts and impressions between people, ability to defend one’s own beliefs, avoid misunderstandings, etc.Generally speaking, the peculiarity of the organization of linguistic and literary education of younger students is the ability of the teacher who chooses which program to teach students, and therefore determines the priorities of learning: traditional or integrated, habitual or innovative, aimed at forming knowledge or focused on the formation of skills, practical and therefore the implementation of a business approach.В статті окреслено особливості організації мовно-літературної освіти молодших школярів в умовах Нової української школи з урахуванням нормативних документів, типових освітніх програм, методичних рекомендацій, авторських навчальних програм, підручників та посібників.Обгрунтовано, що мовно-літературну освітню галузь зосереджено на вивченні дітьми рідної, водночас й іноземної мови задля формування іншомовної комунікативної компетентності. Відтак розширюється поле комунікації, передбачено потенційні можливості й потреби особистості у міжкультурному спілкуванні.Узагальнено, що особливістю організації мовно-літературної освіти молодших школярів стають уміння учителя, який обирає за якою програмою навчати учнів, а відтак визначає пріоритети навчання: традиційне чи інтегроване, звичне чи інноваційне, спрямо-ване на формування знань чи зорієнтоване на формування практичних умінь і навичок, а відтак і реалізацію діяльнісного підходу

Tradition and novelty in Stepan Pisakhov`s tales
No full textThe topic of the present thesis is “Tradition and Novelty in Stepan Pisakhov`s Tales”. It is aimed at examining various literary features, typical to the style of mentioned above author. The readers are acquainted with the writer and artist Stepan Pisakhov (1879 -1960) from Arkhangelsk, Russia and his tales. Special attention is given to examining of traditional elements in Pisakhov`s writing style, originated from Northern folk tales and Pomor tales. The research is focused on correlation between traditional features and innovative aspects. The author of the thesis used theory of translation by Chukovsly, Gadamer and Lomheim as basis for translation of Pisakhov`s tales. Vladimir Propp`s study “Morphology of a fairy tales” was applied to examine to what extent Pisakhov used traditional elements of the tale in his creative writing. Special attention was devoted to dialectal features of Arkhangelsk region in Pisakhov`s language. Recent translations of Blackwell Boyce were discussed in relation to translation theory. Regional Scientific Library named after Dobrolubov in Arkhangelsk provided many usefyl materials about Stepan Pisakhov
What future for the Cooperation with Chinese Higher Education Institutions - The Case of Germany
No full textThe project examines the status of cooperation between German and Chinese higher education institutions (HEIs). In view of the increasingly difficult political framework conditions, Stepan and his team conduct research on: (1) the number and nature cooperation between Chinese and German higher education institutions, (2) the role of universities as actors in the relationship of the two countries. The project aims to chart pathways for future, mutually beneficial engagement. The Characterology of Stepan Baley: Some Psychological and Philosophical Comments
No full textThis article aims at identifying the relevance of character research, conducted by Stepan Baley, a representative of the Ukrainian branch of the Lviv-Warsaw School. To achieve this, the author first analyzes the key points of Baley’s characterology, and then demonstrates its potential from the perspective of Twardowski’s philosophical tradition and within the ethical debate on the empirical approach to character. The author concludes that it is impossible, according to Baley, to obtain accurate and complete knowledge of character, as well as it is impossible to educate a person in a certain way

Подано широкий перелік періодичних видань, у яких містяться статті діяча. З’ясовано тематику статей, їх інформаційне та ідейно-політичне наповнення. Розглянуто джерелознавче значення публіцистичної спадщини С. Куропася як важливе джерело до вивчення його громадсько-політичної діяльності. Встановлено, що у його публіцистиці, як і в громадсько-політичній та культурній роботі, простежується його відданість справі розбудові та розвитку життя української громади США.
(The article presents the characteristic of publicistic works of Stepan Kuropas, one of the leading representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora in the US in 20th century. The article analyses a wide range of periodicals which contain writer’s articles. Moreover, the author of this research analyses the themes and the ideological and political content of Kuropas’s articles. The research evaluates the value of the publicistic heritage of Stepan Kuropas and regards it as an important source for studying his social and political activity. It is stated that in his publicistic, social, political and cultural works one can trace Kuropas’s commitment to develop and evolve the life of the Ukrainian community in the US.
