Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (i) mengetahui seberapa besar hasil belajar penggunaan model pembelajaran Role Playing; (ii) mengetahui seberapa besar hasil belajar penggunaan model pembelajaran Inside Outside Circle; (iii) mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Role Playing dan Inside Outside Circle terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 008 Camba-camba Kabupaten Polewali Mandar.
Jenis penelitian merupakan pre-eksperimen, dengan model pre-test post-test one group design. Instrument penelitian berupa test hasil belajar (pretest dan posttest), dan lembar kegiatan aktivitas siswa. Data Analisis deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan guru mengola pembelajaran, aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran dan hasil belajarnya. Analisis statistik inferensial uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji regresi berganda dan (uji-t) digunakan untuk melihat pengaruh model pembelajaran Role Playing dan Inside Outside Circle terhadap hasil belajar ips peserta didik melalui program SPSS.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) hasil belajar IPS peserta didik kelas IV di SDN 008 Camba – camba Kabupaten Polewali Mandar sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran Role Playing dan Inside Outside Circle berada pada kategori sangat rendah (2) kemudian terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar IPS peserta didik setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran Role Playing dan Inside Outside Circle. (3) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Role Playing dan Inside Outside Circle Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPS Peserta Didik Kelas IV SDN 008 Camba – camba.

Penelitian ini adalah studi tentang manajemen pendidikan yang berkaitan
dengan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah MI DDI 1 Palopo dalam peningkatan proses
pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peranan kepala
sekolah MI DDI 1 Palopo dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran
dan untuk mengetahui kendala apa yang dihadapi.
Desain penelitian menggunakan deskreptif persentase, yaitu penelitian yang
menguraikan pemecahan masalah berdasarkan data uji persyaratan dan intepretasi
hasil penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen
penelitian, sebagai alat bantu berupa kuisioner, interview, dokumentasi, dan
pengamatan lapangan. Analisis data dengan deskrepsi,dan analisis statistik deskreptif
persentase yakni penarikan kesimpulan atau menginterpretsikan data yang dihasilkan.
Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah MI
DDI 1 Palopo telah dilakukan dengan baik dan telah melaksanakan berbagai cara
untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Namun masih dijumpai
beberapa kendala sehingga upaya tersebut belum tercapai secara maksimal.
Kaitannya dengan peningkatan kualitas proses pembelajaran, menjadi sangat
urgen untuk mengambil langkah strategis guna menumbuhkan kesadaran yang
mendalam bagi tiap pribadi guru untuk mengabdi dengan sepenuh hati dan
menjalankan tugas sebagai guru profesional

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Get PDFThe objective of this research is to identity the relationship between Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) and macroeconomic variables which are exchange rate, inflation rate, money supply and interest rate. This research is study on how macroeconomic variables can affect the movement in stock markets. Yearly data from period of 1981 until 2011 have been used. This study adopts two models which are Single Linear Regression and Multiple Linear Regression. Based on the result, the exchanges rate, inflation rate, money supply and interest rate is significant with KLCI. Besides that, the exchanges rate, money supply and interest rate is positive correlated since only the inflation have negative correlated with stock market

Skripsi ini membahas tentang bagaimana tahap pengembangan modul
berbasis kisah pada materi hidup damai dengan akhlak terpuji di kelas VII SMP
Negeri 13 Palopo, bagaimana kelayakan modul berbasis kisah pada materi hidup
damai dengan akhlak terpuji di kelas VII.
Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pendidikan dan pengembangan
(researc & development). Subjek penelitian ialah peserta didik kelas VII yang
berjumlah 19 orang. Objek penelitian ini adalah modul pendidikan agama Islam
materi hidup damai dengan akhlak mulia di kelas VII. Teknik pengumpulan data
yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi media pembelajaran, dan angket. Teknik
analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis
deskriptif kuantitatif.
Hasil penelitian mengemukakan bahwa tahap pengembangan modul
berbasis kisah pada materi hidup damai dengan akhlak terpuji kelas VII SMP
Negeri 13 Palopo menggunakan modul ADDIE meliputi; Pertama, tahap analisis.
Tahap analisis terbagi menjadi dua yaitu analisis kebutuhan dan analisis kurikulum.
Kedua, tahap desgin yang menitik beratkan pada rancangan-rancangan pembuatan
modul bahan ajar. Ketiga, tahap development atau tahap penyususnan dan
pembuatan bahan ajar. Keempat, tahap impelementation atau tahap penerapan
modul bahan ajar sesuai dengan fungsi dan tujuan dalam pembelajaran. Kelima,
tahap evaluasi atau tahap penilaian produk yang dikembangkan tersebut sesuai
dengan tujuan penelitian atau tidak. Secara keseluruhan penilaian yang dilakukan
oleh validator ahli materi dan media diperoleh hasil yang sangat valid. Kelayakan
modul berbasis kisah pada materi hidup damai dengan akhlak terpuji di kelas VII
SMP Negeri 13 Palopo pengembangn modul bahan ajar.

This thesis discusses the stages of developing a story-based module on
material on living peacefully with commendable morals in class VII of SMP Negeri
13 Palopo, how appropriate the story-based module on material living peacefully
with commendable morals is in class VII.
This research uses the type of educational research and development
(research & development). The research subjects were 18 class VII students. The
object of this research is the Islamic religious education module on living peacefully
with noble morals in class VII. The data collection techniques used were learning
media validation sheets and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used are
qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis.
The research results show that the stage of developing a story-based module
on peaceful living with commendable morals for class VII SMP Negeri 13 Palopo
using the ADDIE module includes; First, the analysis stage. The analysis stage is
divided into two, namely needs analysis and curriculum analysis. Second, the
design stage which focuses on designs for making teaching material modules.
Third, the development stage or the stage of preparing and making teaching
materials. Fourth, the implementation stage or the stage of applying teaching
material modules according to the function and objectives of learning. Fifth, the
evaluation stage or assessment stage whether the product being developed is in
accordance with the research objectives or not. Overall, the assessment carried out
by material and media expert validators obtained very valid results. Feasibility of
story-based modules on peaceful living with commendable morals in class VII SMP
Negeri 13 Palopo, developing teaching material modules.
