Passive voice adalah bagian penting dari tata bahasa. Belajar passive voice
cukup rumit digunakan khususnya di dalam teks report. Salah satu ciri bahasa
yang sering terjadi kesalahan didalam penulisan adalah penggunan kalimat pasif.
Kurangnya pengetahuan adalah salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya
kesalahan. Beberapa siswa membuat kesalahan dalam menggunakan kalimat pasif
didalam teks laporan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis
kesalahan yang sering muncul pada siswa kelas X IPA dalam penggunaan kalimat
pasif didalam menulis teks laporan dan penyebab kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa
tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini
dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2021 di SMAN 1 Pasir Penyu. Partisipan
dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPA SMAN 1 Pasir Penyu
sebanyak 55 siswa diambil secara purposive sampling. Selain itu peneliti
menggunakan dua teknik yaitu dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi
jenis kesalahan yang sering muncul dalam menggunakan kalimat pasif didalam
menulis teks laporan dan wawancara yang dilakukan dengan 10 orang siswa
digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa
tersebut. Berdasarkan analisis data, siswa membuat kesalahan dalam semua jenis
kesalahan. Kesalahan siswa yang paling banyak pada passive voice adalah
kesalahan Misformation dan Omission. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi
penyebab kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa, antara lain kecerobohan, gangguan
bahasa pertama, dan penerjemahan

No full textPercaya diri adalah kesadaran individu yang mengetahui kelebihan dan kelemahannya otomatis dari itu apabila seorang individu ini mempunyai kesadaran tersebut ia akan merasa yakin kepada diri sendiri guna menerapkan sesuatu positif seperti penerimaan diri, punya sikap optimis, serta berpikir positif otomatis dari itu ia bisa bertindak sesuai dengan porsinya dan juga bisa mengendalikan. Kepercayaan diri yang tinggi bisa menyebabkan seseorang mencapai maksud yang ingin di capai otomatis dari itu seseorang bisa sampai pada titik keberperolehanan. Namun, apabila ketidak percayaan diri seseorang rendah, seseorang akan cenderung pasif dengan segala kegiatan apapun yang ada dilingkungan sekitarnya. Maksud penelitian ini yakni supaya bisa mengetahui signifikansi Layanan Konseling Kelompok Melalui Pendekatan Rational Emotive Behaviour Theraphy guna menunjang Sikap Percaya Diri Siswa kelas X Di SMA Widya Darma Surabaya 2022/2023. Penelitian berdesain pre-eksperimental design dengan memanfaatkan Pretest dan Posttest. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah empat orang siswa diambil berbasis perolehan skor pretest nilai yang paling rendah dengan teknik pengambilan subjek purposive sampling. Dalam penelitian ini empat orang siswa yang menbisakan nilai rendah akan dibagikan layanan konseling kelompok dengan pendekatan rational emotive behaviour theraphy selama 3 kali pertemuan. Teknik analisis data memanfaatkan Uji Paired T test (parametrik) dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS 23. Melalui perolehan uji hipotesis bisa dilihat bahwasanya konseling kelompok pendekatan rational emotive behaviour theraphy perolehan yang signifikan guna menunjang sikap percaya diri siswa kelas X di SMA Widya Darma Surabaya. Perolehan signifikan dari perolehan Uji Paired T-test Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) mempunyai nilai 0,000. Karena 0,000 < 0,05 serta selisih antara rata-rata perolehan pre-test dengan rata-rata perolehan post-test yakni -29,250. otomatis bisa disimpulkan bahwasanya Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak maknanya terdapat beda yang signifikan pada sikap percaya diri siswa sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan konseling kelompok pendekatan rational emotive behavior theraphy.

The purpose of this research is to determine The Practice of Receptionist Etiquette at Harian Pagi Sumatera Ekspres Office that addressed at Kolonel Barlian Streets, Num. 773, Km 6.k, Sukarame Palembang. Through this research, the author wants to how the etiquette applied by the receptionist in serving every guest. The author gets the data through interview, questionnaire and library research. Based on the comparation between the theory and the reality, there are some weaknesses found in the receptionist etiquette application that haven’t been applied optimally. Therefore it is then suggested to the manager to amend the weaknesses by arranging some job training and applying punishment to each misapplication.

Researchers used quantitative research in conducting research on the evalution of the Inayan Scenic BUMDes Program for fertilizer Restribution facilities in the Vilage Of Aro Island Kuantan Tengah Distict Kuantan Singingi Regency. The researchers here used informant 69 people. For technique researchers used quosioner, observation, and documentation techniques.Based on the research conducted by the author, the result and conclusions of the evaluation of the implementation of the BUMDes Inayan active in the field of fertilizer distribution. The role of BUMDes in the village community of Pulau Aro is able to improve community welfare and improve the community’s economy, althought it is not yet significant
AN ANALYSIS OF FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE FOUND IN TWILIGHT SAGA POEM BY STEPHENIE MEYERS
No full textABSTRACTLiterary work is a work in which the writer aims to present her work that has anaesthetic impression. There are literary works such as prose, poetry or drama. To make a poemmore beautiful and easy to understand, a writer needs to understand the rules of making a goodpoem. This study aimed to analyze the types of figurative language found in Twilight Saga’sPoem and the meaning of the figurative language found in Twilight Saga’s poems. The datawere taken from the Twilight Saga poem adapted from the novel of Stephanie Meyers. Thedata were collected by using observation methods with the following steps: downloading andreading the poem, and then selecting the data which use figurative language. The data wereanalyzed by using qualitative method. Regarding the analysis, there are two theories used inthis research: theory of Figurative Language by Perrine (1977) and theory of Meaning by Leech(1981). For the results, there was found 17 data, includes: simile (2 items or 12,5%), metaphor(1 items or 6,3%), personification (2 items or 12,5%), synecdoche (2 item or 12,5%), symbol(4 items or 25%), hyperbole (3 item or 18,7%) and irony (2 item or 12,5%). The dominanttypes of figurative language are symbol and hyperbole because the author places moreemphasis in choosing beautiful words to make the poems more interesting and meaningful.Keywords: figurative language, meaning, poemABSTRAKKarya sastra adalah suatu karya yang bertujuan untuk menyajikan karyanya yangberkesan estetik, ada karya sastra seperti prosa, puisi atau drama. Agar puisi lebih indah danmudah dipahami, penulis perlu memahami aturan pembuatan puisi yang baik. Penelitian inibertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis bahasa kiasan yang ditemukan dalam Puisi Twilight Sagadan makna bahasa kiasan yang terdapat dalam puisi Twilight Saga. Data ini diambil dari puisiberjudul Twilight Saga yang diadaptasi dari novel Stephanie Meyers. Metode yang digunakandalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan menyajikan gambaran data.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi dengan langkah-langkah sebagaiberikut: mengunduh dan membaca puisi, kemudian memilih data yang menggunakan bahasakiasan. Dalam analisis data, ada dua teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teoriFigurative Language oleh Perrine (1977) dan teori Meaning oleh Leech (1981). One of the things prepared for this business trip is an agreement document or agreement letter, which is submitted to the vendor. However, the process of making these documents is still done manually and has a very high volume of requests, so the activities carried out are ineffective. This study aims to minimize the time of manufacture and the processes involved in making agreement letter documents by travel specialists. The application development method used in this study is the prototyping method, where in this study the author uses Microsoft Power Platform (Microsoft Power Apps and Microsoft Power Automate) to create user interfaces and flows for automation of running processes. The result of this study is an application that can create an agreement document or agreement letter in one click, and also It can automatically follow up with the approver so that it can facilitate the task of the travel specialist in making the agreement letter document
HOW CAN THE WORLD OVERLOOK Sapindus rarak BIOPROSPECTION? A NICHE FOR INDONESIA
No full textSapindus rarak is a plant native to Indonesia. Its fruit contains abundant saponins and serves as a detergent for washing batik and baby cloth diapers. This study aims to determine the trends in the S. rarak research based on a bibliometrics and scoping review. The bibliometrics analysis was conducted by defining the search keywords, extracting publications, refining the results, compiling metadata, and mapping authors, keywords, and collaboration. There were 32 publications regarding S. rarak based on Scopus, written by 23 authors between 1992 and 2022, with 387 citations, and 201 publications with 1176 citations due to Google Scholar. Indonesia, the Indonesian Research Institute for Animal Production, and Elizabeth Wina was the most influential country, institution, and author, respectively. The research was clustered to chemistry, biology, medicine, and physics approach. Bio-prospection of S. rarak fruit extract for livestock supplementation was a hot topic. All articles reported S. rarak fruit or seed as the promising organ—no one study about the potency of leaves whereas leaves are also an abundant source of saponin. However, the potency of S. rarak leaves is still overlooked. Research on the efficacy of detergents has not been published in a highly reputable international journal, even though it has been utilized traditionally for a long time. Bibliometrics and scoping review can provide insights for further research roadmaps in this field

THE STUDY OF CHARACTERIZATION OF THE MAIN CHARACTER IN BRAVE MOVIE
No full textThis study is entitled “The Study of Characterization of the Main Character in Brave movieâ€. This research is focused on the characterization approach based on the three dimensions of the main character and intrinsic components in the movie. The main purpose of the research is to determine how the author describes the main character in terms of physiological, psychological, and sociological dimensions. The data for this study was collected using the documentation technique, which was based on library research. The obtained data were then descriptively analyzed using the descriptive qualitative method. This study uses theory from Kenney (1966) to explain category the main character and for theory of three dimension of characterization proposed by Egri (1985). The data source of this study is a movie entitled Brave (2012). Based on Kenney’s theory, the writer found that the main character in Brave movie as dynamic character. In addition, based on Egri’s theory, there are three dimensions (physiological, psychological, and sociological) involved in the shaping and presentation of the main character. The result after doing analyzing this study there was found 8 data of dimension of characterization, including Psychological with 5 data, Physiological with 2 data, and Sociological with 1 dat
