WATER QUALITY OF FISHING LOCATION OF SEPATUNG FISH (Pristolepis grootii) AT KELEKAR RIVER, OGAN ILIR REGENCY OF SOUTH SUMATERA
This study aims to determine the parameters of water quality at the fishing locations of the sepatung fish (Pristolepis grootii). Water quality is very influenced by environmental conditions. Kelekar River is one of the rivers located in the area of the flooded swamp area. The water quality characteristics of this river are very influenced by the condition of the surrounding swamps. Based on water acidity (pH) parameters, the quality of river water tends to be acidic, but the sepatung fish (P grootii) can live, grow and develop in this habitat. Water quality in natural waters habitats h can be used as a reference in the maintenance of fish in aquaculture media
The Meaning Of Communication Ritual “Already Sea” As The Sustainability Of Maritim Culture Values Of The Community Village Coconut Islands
This study aims to map the activities, competencies, language, and communication components of the “sea alms” ritual which produces communication patterns as a form of preservation of maritime cultural values in the island community. The concept of ritual communication on which this research is based is ritual. Ritual is a habitual action (hereditary action) and also contains transcendental values. So, it can be understood that rituals are related to voluntary performances carried out by the community from generation to generation (based on habits) regarding patterned behavior. Communication is at the core of interactions between humans who use language in certain cultures. This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods, an interpretive or qualitative perspective. Ritual as a 'tradition' in the context of communication events and interaction processes.
The results of the study reveal that the ritual communication of "alms sea" is an activity of gratitude to God Almighty or the creator, who has provided a fortune from the potential that comes from the sea, this tradition is a form of cultural values that are maintained by fishermen, who live on Pulau Kelapa, dominant is the Bugis community. The ritual "Alms Ocean" is used as a tourist attraction for marine culture, by displaying dance, culinary arts, and typical Bugis cultural symbols which are ornaments of marine tourism attractions
Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Argumentasi Dialogis dalam Pembelajaran Fisika untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Argumentasi Ilmiah Siswa SMA
Abstract
Low ability of scientific arguments related to the students' learning process in the physics classroom that has not habituate scientific argumentation ability. This study aimed to examine the effect of the implementation of arguments dialogical learning model to increase students' ability of scientific argumentation. Argumentation dialogical learning model consists of five phases of learning, namely stages: (1) identification of the problem; (2) group argument discussion; (3) classroom argument discussion; (4) class mediation; and (5) the integration of knowledge. Each stage involves students learning activities directly in order to develop the ability of scientific argumentation. The pre-experimental method with the one group pretest and posttest design used in this research. The essay ability of the scientific arguments test and observation sheet used as a research instruments. Subjects in this study were students of 10th grade in one of the state senior high schools in Bandung, which is determined by random cluster sampling technique. The results show there is an increase in the ability of the student to the acquisition of scientific arguments with medium category after argument dialogical learning model implemented and it was concluded that the implementation of arguments dialogical learning model increased the students’ ability of scientific argumentation.

Perspektif Al-Qur’an Tentang Angin
Wind is an important element in life on earth, both human life, animals and plants. In the Koran, wind is mentioned with the word riih in the singular form and riyah in the plural form. Various types of wind are mentioned in the Quran, among others: 'Aqiim winds, Sharshar winds,' Ashif winds, Qashif winds, Thayyibah winds, and Sakinah winds. Meanwhile, Al Quran also explains about the functions of the wind, including: helping the pollination process, moving the clouds so that it rains, moving the clouds so that it rains to fertilize the land, the wind influences the formation of sea waves, and as a warning bearer of doom
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
