    OPTIMIZATION OF COMMERCIAL GRADE NaHCO3 (MITHA SODA) CONCENTRATION FOR SPIRULINA FUSIFORMIS CULTIVATION

    As a food supplement Spirulina is gaining more and more attention. Its growing demand has led to its large scale cultivation, which had been a very costly affair and low cost nutrient are mandatory to minimize its economy. The present experiment was conducted to find out the optimum concentration of commercial grade NaHCO3 i.e. mitha soda in CFTRI (I) medium for supporting the highest yield of Spirulina fusiformis. Algal samples with 4.5 g/L -10g/L concentration of mitha soda in CFTRI (I) medium were prepared and algal growth was recorded in terms of optical density upto the 25th day. Present experiment revealed that 6g/L concentration of mitha soda successfully proved to be better for the growth of Spirulina fusiformis. From the economy point of view, cost input for 6g/L mitha soda was 5 times cheaper than the analytical grade NaHCO3

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Sulisetijono, M.Si.   Kata kunci: pengembangan, bahan ajar, jaringan tumbuhan,ICT Hasil observasi pada tanggal 23 Januari 2014 terhadap siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN10 Malang kendala yang dialami ketikabelajar materi jaringan tumbuhanadalah perlunya waktu yang lama untuk menyiapkan preparat irisan organ, sedangkan jam pertemuan untuk mempelajari satu materi mata pelajaran biologi terbatas. Akibatnya, siswa kesulitan memahami materi jaringan tumbuhan. Salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah penggunaanbahan ajar yang dapat dipelajari secara mandiri sehingga dapat mengatasi keterbatasan waktu.Bahan ajar berbasis ICT dapat memvisualisasikan obyek mikroskopis dan menyediakan lebih banyak informasi. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajarbiologi berbasis ICT pada materi jaringan tumbuhan untuk siswa kelas XI. Jenis penelitian adalah pengembangan. Produkdikembangkan berdasarkanmodel 4D dariThiagarajan (1974). Penelitian ini hanya melaksanakan  tahap ke 1 hingga 3 yaitu tahap pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), dan pengembangan (develop). Validasi produk dilakukan oleh ahli bahan ajar, ahli materi, ahli praktisi lapangan, sedangkan uji coba lapangan dilakukan terhadap 14orang siswa kelas XIIIPA 5 SMA Negeri 10 Malang. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah kuesioner untuk ahli materi, ahli bahan ajar, praktisi lapangan dan siswa. Persentase keseluruhan dari ahli bahan ajar sebesar 82,45%, ahli materi sebesar 96,57%, ahli praktisi lapangan sebesar 97,27%, dan siswa sebesar 85,18%. Hasilanalisis gain score untuk mengukurpeningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada materi jaringan tumbuhan adalah sebesar 0,55. Berdasarkan hasil yang telah diperoleh tersebut, bahan ajar biologi berbasis ICT pada materi jaringan tumbuhan dapat digunakan untuk membantu siswa belajar secara mandiri. Bahan ajar berbasis ICT perlu di uji cobakan pada sampel sekolah yang lebih banyak untuk mengetahui keefektifan bahan ajar mendukung proses pembelajaran.

Sos, M.Si. As one source of reliable foreign exchange the result is export oil and natural gas. Thus, smooth the implementation of the discharge operation can affect productivity ships in function as a means of transport. Therefore author’s want to know how to identification cargo handling of LPG, and find solutions of obstacles occurs. The methodology which I used in my observation is qualitative and descriptive method. With the data analysis are fishbone and fault tree, to determine the cause of the problems and find solutions. In this research terms of collecting data, through observation, interview, and documentation of researchers above a ship during the period on january 2018 until july 2018. Then were analysed into a discovery that should be given the solution of the problem and became a research observation can be useful for those who read it. The research results show: traits and characteristics of LPG contain, knowing how the way to identification cargo handling use reliquefied system, knows all that must be considered during their work above the ship with LPG cargo, knowing how the way to handling this cargo contain so well, the obstacle that find during, and efforts must be done good between teminals and ships or ships and mother ship . In the end of the research, the author conclusions and suggestions that can be used as a reference in the handling of the LPG cargo. Advice of the author is improving the awareness of the self for the entire crew a vessel that figure out the characteristics of the cargo and their environment work is important.     Choreographing in Pakistan since the 50’s, the country’s senior most 90+ years young classical dance maestro Indu Mitha has made trailblazing contributions within the Kalakshtera Bharata Natyam using North Indian music, interesting and contemporary content, while also producing more tableau forms of dance. In one of her recent solo pieces in the later style, titled “Qaseeda-i-Ilm of Jamal” or “An Ode to Wisdom and Beauty” Indu engages with symbolisms of a Hindu goddess of knowledge and Aesthetics_Saraswati and pays tribute to a forgotten dried up river of the same name. PENERAPAN MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS DESKRIPSI (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Pada Siswa Kelas IIIA SDIT Insan Cendekia Boyolali Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017). Skripsi. Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta, Juli 2017. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis deskripsi melalui penerapan model Kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share pada siswa kelas IIIA SDIT Insan Cendekia Boyolali Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas IIIA SDIT Insan Cendekia Boyolali tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 18 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan ialah teknik analisis model interaktif yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji validitas data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kelas yang diperoleh saat pratindakan sebesar 72,78 meningkat menjadi 75 pada siklus I dan naik lagi menjadi 81 pada siklus II. Jumlah siswa pada pratindakan yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 7 siswa (39%), pada siklus I sebanyak 11 siswa (61%), dan mengalami peningkatan kembali menjadi sebanyak 16 siswa (89%) di siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa: melalui penerapan model Kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis deskripsi pada siswa kelas IIIA SDIT Insan Cendekia Boyolali tahun ajaran 2016/2017. The objective of the research is to improve descriptive writing skills by using implementation of cooperative model type Think Pair Share at grade IIIA SDIT Insan Cendekia Boyolali in academic year 2016/2017. The research used a Classroom Action Research which was conducted in two cycles. The subjects of the research were teacher and 18 students in IIIA grade of SDIT Insan Cendekia Boyolali in academic year 2016/2017. The techniques of collecting data used in the research were interview, observation, test, and documentation. The data were analyzed using an interactive model of descriptive analysis consists of data collecting, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The data were validated using data technique triangulation and content validity. The result show that average score of class before action (pre-cycle) is 72.78, the average score improved to be 75 in cycle 1, and improved to be 81 in cycle 2. The numbers of students who have been reached KKM (75) in pre-cycle are 7 students (39%), improve to be 11 students (61%) in cycle 1, and improve to be 16 students (89%) in cycle 2. Based on the result of research, it can be concluded that using cooperative model type Think Pair Share can improve descriptive writing skill on the students at grade IIIA of SDIT Insan Cendekia Boyolali in academic year 2016/2017.     Features of the embodiment of the author’s position in the essay by I. A. Goncharov “Pepiniere” are considered. The relevance of the study is due to the poorly studied poetics of this work. A review of the scientific literature on relevant topics is performed. Methodological and theoretical definitions are given. The scientific novelty of the article is in the fact that for the first time attention is paid to artistic techniques that allow to identify the author's position in the specified literary text. The author of the article grounds her opinion from the fact that, despite the dominance of the subjective point of view, other characters’ views stand out in the work. It is concluded in the study that the text of the work represents a biographical author and author-creator. It was established that the position of the author-creator is expressed through the title, epigraphs, which are quotes, as well as through different points of view, including the author-character, the author-narrator, the characters of the work. The author of the article dwells in detail on different ways of expressing the points of view of the author-character and the author-narrator. It is proved that the point of view of the author-character and the author-narrator can intersect, they are interchanged. The author's development of the term comic “point of view” is presented in the article
