In the whole of Brazilian writer Ana Miranda#s fictional narrative, the travel thematic # considered one of the most fertile themes of the western literature of all times # occupies a central space, and can even been seen as the most important structuring axis of Miranda#s works. The aim of the present thesis is to analyze the treatment given to the travel subject in the novels Desmundo, O retrato do rei, Dias & Dias and Amrik, emphasizing that, through the traveling narrators, Oribela, Mariana, Feliciana and Amina, the author promotes a connection between different cultures, genders, ethnics and generations, at the same time that establishes a profitable dialogue with the past in her invariant problematization concerning the limits and crossings between the fictional and the extra-literary narrative discourses that surrounds it, mainly the historical and the biographic ones

Subfamily Lophyohylinae Miranda-Ribeiro, 1926
Lophiohylinae Miranda-Ribeiro, 1926:64. Type genus Lophyohyla Miranda-Ribeiro, 1923 = Phyllodytes Wagler, 1830. [As noted by Fouquette and Dubois, 2014:368, Lophiohylinae is an incorrect spelling of Lophyohyla Miranda Ribeiro, 1923:5.]

Definition. Most members of this subfamily (except Phyllodytes, Phytotriades, and Tepuihyla) are casque-headed. Chromosome complement in most genera 2n = 24, but 2n = 22 in Phyllodytes, 28 in Osteopilus wilderi (Dunn), and 34 in O. ocellatus (Linnaeus).

Content. Twelve genera and 76 species.

Distribution. Tropical and subtropical South America to Uruguay and northern Argentina, including the Pacific lowlands to northwestern Peru and the Guiana Highlands (but not the Andes), Greater Antilles, Bahama Islands, and peninsular Florida, USA; one species, Trachycephalus typhonius (Linnaeus), extending northward into Mexico.

Etymology. The familial and generic names are derived from the Greek lophos meaning mane or crest and from Hylas in Greek mythology. The gender is feminine.

Remarks. This subfamily has a 100% support value. Distinctive cranial characters help to define the casqueheaded genera Aparasphenodon, Argenteohyla, Corythomantis, Dryaderces, Itapotihyla, Nyctimantis, and Trachycephalus (Trueb 1970).
Published as part of Duellman, William E., Marion, Angela B. & Hedges, Blair, 2016, Phylogenetics, classification, and biogeography of the treefrogs (Amphibia: Anura: Arboranae), pp. 1-109 in Zootaxa 4104 (1) on page 24, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4104.1.1, http://zenodo.org/record/265809
Materia-autore = Author-Matter
The etymology of the word author refers to an act of creation, an act of augmentation, from the Latin verb augere. Author instantiates creation, the expansion of the pre-existing. In 1967 Roland Barthes declared the death of the author in his famous essay to state once more that the crisis is that of the author as a single subjectivity and as a term that condenses prestige, undermined by the de-subjectivation strategies of automatism, fortuity and fragmentation of the historical avant-gardes, as well as by the machinic act and by the reproducibility of the second avant-gardes.
Fifty years after Barthes’ paradigmatic formula, this lack of authorship appears to be a successful brand. The ten- sions between the anomie of matter, the law that establishes authorship and the economy that makes the work pos- sible, invoke discordant perspectives. Artists make the self-destruction of their work the real work, and appeal is made for the demolition of architectures, whether by a recognised author or not, in order to re-design, or better still, re-claim the territory. Artificial intelligence consolidates its logics and its design by progressively shedding human ingenuity. The space of criticism becomes, finally, increasingly ephemeral. However, there is an acceptation of criti- cism that is, rather than an individual ‘signature’, an exploration and explanation of how design makes theory.
The binomial author-matter seeks to mark these tensions and contradictions: the featured term author is main- tained to underline the persistence of that prestigious subjectivity, at the very moment when the rhetoric of “mat- ter as an author” promises other forms of authorship
