Eksplorasi Komitmen Organisasi Karyawan pada Amal Usaha Pendidikan Muhammadiyah: Studi Indigenous Psychology
Individuals who choose to work in Muhammadiyah’s philanthropy movement in education should be obliged to serve and support the organization. This, of course, cannot be separated from the degree of commitment of each individual. This study aims to explore the work commitment of individuals who work in Muhammadiyah educational charities using the indigenous psychology approach in which it is possible to construct the concept of commitment through a bottom-up approach. Respondents were teachers/ employees at Muhammadiyah’s philanthropy movement in education. The number of respondents was 169 people from several provinces in Indonesia. The results show that several factors make employees/ teachers/ lecturers at Muhammadiyah Business Charity in the field of education commit to their organization, namel: (1) organizational factors; (2) intrapersonal factors; (3) interpersonal factor; and (4) religiosity factors
Seksisme sebagai moderator hubungan sense of community dan kinerja mahasiswa organisatoris
The performance of student organizations is a crucial variable in maintaining their existence and achieving their organizational goals. One of the important factors that influence this is the degree of sense of community of the members of the organization. Sexism as a gender prejudice is considered to have the potential to influence aspects of the sense of community and organizational performance. This study aims to examine sexism as a moderator on the relationship between sense of community and organizational performance. This study uses a quantitative method and determines the subject using a random sampling technique to the members of student organizations with a total of 223 subjects. The measuring instrument used is Sense of Community version 2, The Ambivalent of Sexism Inventory, and an Organizational Performance Scale. Data analysis used the method of moderated regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between sense of community and organizational performance, and sexism as a moderator variable had an insignificant value on the relationship between sense of community and organizational performance.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Tongkonan Social Identity: Families Harmonization on Interfaith Marriage in Toraja
Interfaith marriage can be called a meeting of inter-social identities specifically within the context of family. It is therefore an indispensable part of the process for every interfaith marriage couple to de-categorize and re-categorize and consolidate their social identity as a couple so that they can successfully define their new family values. The purpose of this study is to analyze how married couples of different faiths in Toraja harmonize their differences from the perspective of social identity. This study used an ethnographic approach with six informant actors from three interfaith families in Toraja. The results show that these married couples operationalize a dual-hierarchical identity model in an inter-family harmonization effort. Tongkonan identity is placed vertically as a collective identity, while the identity of religion as a person-based social identity is placed horizontally. Both of these have consequences for the emergence of a cross-categorized identity
Efektivitas teknik relaksasi dalam menurunkan tingkat kecemasan pada PMI di shelter KBRI Kuala Lumpur
The problems experienced by Indonesian migrant workers are very diverse, such as employment problems, neglect and so on. This can trigger anxiety so that handling efforts such as relaxation are needed. This study aims to test the effectiveness of relaxation in reducing anxiety levels in Indonesian migrant workers at the Shelter of the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur. This study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental research design in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest design that measured adaptation to the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-21). The population in this study were all PMIs with moderate to high levels of anxiety who were at the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, which were obtained using a purposive sampling technique. The data that has been obtained from the field is then processed by JASPO.16 (Jeffreys\u27 Amazing Statistics Program) using Wilcoxon signed-rank test analysis. The results of this study indicate that the hypothesis is rejected, namely relaxation is not effective in reducing anxiety for Indonesian Migrant Workers who are in Shelters at the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, as seen from a probability of 0,098 (p > 0,05). The rank-biserial correlation (rB) as an effect size with a value of 1.000 > 0.5 indicates a large effect size. This research is a reference for the Indonesian Embassy in Malaysia in dealing with anxiety problems that are often experienced by PMI in Malaysia.

Manifestations of Polyculturalism in Indonesia: A study of indigenous psychology
Polyculturalism is an ideology that emphasizes the interaction between certain cultures. Polyculturalism is considered to minimize prejudice and potential conflicts, while studies on polyculturalism in Indonesia are still limited. The purpose of this study is to find out the aspects of polyculturalism in Indonesia and what conditions make individuals open to establish relationships with other individuals so that it has the potential to become the nation's glue. This research uses indigenous psychology approach with mix method design. Subjects selected with the criteria of Indonesian Citizens (Citizens), aged 18 years and over, and have migrated more than 2 years (between cities / provinces in Indonesia). Data analysis was carried out in two ways, firstly a qualitative analysis that is making a categorization system through the bottom up indigenization model. Second, conduct quantitative analysis using descriptive analysis and chi-square test. The results of this study reveal aspects of cultural equality as national identity including, tolerance, citizenship, culture and race. While aspects that distinguish cultures in Indonesia consist of cultural, racial, geographical and religious rituals. Furthermore, aspects that make individuals establish inter-group relations include curiosity about other cultures, social relations, tolerance, geography, environment, openness, individual values, and emotional conditions. The psychological implications of these results also form part of the research in this study
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
