No full textDarbs ir veltīts I. Lukaša 20. gadsimta 20. gados Latvijas presē publicētās prozas izpētei. Pētījuma mērķis ir I. Lukaša Latvijas presē publicētās prozas iezīmīgo īpašību noteikšana. Lai sasniegtu šo mērķi, autors izmantoja analītiskās un kvantitatīvās, kā arī salīdzinošās analīzes metodes.
Darbs sastāv no trijām nodaļām. Pirmā nodaļā tiek pētīta I. Lukaša sadarbība ar Latvijas galvenajiem 1920. gados funkcionējošajiem izdevumiem. Otrajā nodaļā ir apskatīta zinātniskā literatūra, kas veltīta Ivana Lukaša Latvijas laikrakstu prozas izpētei. Trešajā nodaļā tika veikts Ivana Lukaša Rīgas prozas vispārīgais raksturojums un analizētas rakstnieka Latvijas perioda prozas mākslinieciskās īpašības.
Darbs var ieinteresēt Ivana Lukaša un krievu trimdas rakstnieku daiļrades pētniekus, kā arī Latvijas periodisko izdevumu pētniekus.The thesis is dedicated to the research of the prose by I. Lukash in the Latvian press of the 1920s. The aim of the research is identification of the characteristic features of the prose by I. Lukash that was published in the Latvian press. To achieve the aim, the author resorted to methods of analytical and quantitative, as well as comparative analysis.
The thesis consists of three chapters. The first chapter is dedicated to the research of the history of cooperation between I. Lukash and the major Latvian newspapers that were working in 1920s. The scientific literature dedicated to the research of the Latvian newspaper prose by Ivan Lukash is studied in the second chapter. In the third chapter, a general characteristic of the Riga prose by Ivan Lukash was composed and the artistic features of the writer's prose were analysed
The lukash plane wave attractor and relative energy
No full textWe study energy distribution in the context of teleparallel theory of gravity, due to matter and fields including gravitation, of the universe based on the plane-wave Bianchi VIIδ spacetimes described by the Lukash metric. For this calculation, we consider the teleparallel gravity analogs of the energy–momentum formulations of Einstein, Bergmann–Thomson and Landau–Lifshitz. We find that Einstein and Bergmann–Thomson prescriptions agree with each other and give the same results for the energy distribution in a given spacetime, but the Landau–Lifshitz complex does not. Energy density turns out to be nonvanishing in all of these prescriptions. It is interesting to mention that the results can be reduced to the already available results for the Milne universe when we write ω = 1 and Ξ2 = 1 in the metric of the Lukash spacetime, and for this special case, we get the same relation among the energy–momentum formulations of Einstein, Bergmann–Thomson and Landau–Lifshitz as obtained for the Lukash spacetime. Furthermore, our results support the hypothesis by Cooperstock that the energy is confined to the region of nonvanishing energy–momentum tensor of matter and all non-gravitational fields, and also sustain the importance of the energy–momentum definitions in the evaluation of the energy distribution associated with a given spacetime

The transcription from Brinkmann to Baldwin-Jeffery-Rosen (BJR) to Bianchi coordinates is presented and the relation to a Sturm-Liouville equation is explained. The 6-parameter isometry group is derived. In the Bianchi VII range of parameters we have two BJR transciptions. However using either of them induces a mere relabeling of the geodesics and isometrics. Following pioneering work of Siklos, we provide a self-contained account of the geometry and global structure of the spacetime. The latter contains a Killing horizon to the future of which the spacetime resembles an anisotropic version of the Milne cosmology and to the past of which it resemble the Rindler wedge

The optimum time of ultraviolet exposure for each material is determined during which the concentration of exchange centers is increased, the rate of rehydration is slowed down and the moisture absorption is significantly reduced. It is shown that both physical and mechanical characteristics, as well as durability of asphalt concrete prepared on the basis of modified mineral powders are significantly increased

Висвітлено перекладацьку місію Миколи Лукаша в розвитку української лінгвокультури. Закцентовано увагу на перекладах ним українською мовою поезії Шіллера, «Мадам Боварі» Флобера, поеми Юліана Тувіма «Бал в опері». Наголошено на тому, що окремі концепти спадку Миколи Лукаша можуть бути використанні сучасними освітянами.The article attempts to introduce readers to the biography of the writer-translator and to highlight the creative and translation legacy of Mykola Oleksiyovych Lukash (1919–1988), a prominent Ukrainian writer-interpreter of world classics, lexicographer, linguist, and polyglot. It sheds light on his life and creative path as an outstanding Ukrainian writer and interpreter of world classics, his schooling, and university education. His work as a primary school teacher in a village school in the Kyiv region, where he taught Ukrainian and German, is outlined. The author of the article focuses on Mykola Lukash’s studies at the Kharkiv Pedagogical University of Foreign Languages and the Agricultural Institute. His translation work on the two parts of Johann Wolfgang Goetheʼs “Faust” is described. The peculiarities of Mykola Lukash’s translations of works such as Goetheʼs “Faust”, Giovanni Boccaccioʼs “Decameron”, Miguel de Cervantesʼ “Don Quixote”, Gustave Flaubertʼs “Madame Bovary” and the poetry of Burns and Heine, among others, are outlined. Emphasis is placed on Mykola Lukashʼs knowledge of twenty foreign languages. Attention is drawn to the fact that he was one of the few translators who could work with the original text, not with intermediate Russian translations.
It is noted that Mykola Lukash was one of the first in European literature to translate Federico García Lorca’s poetry, written in the Galician dialect of Spanish, into Ukrainian using the Hutsul dialect. Emphasis is placed on the fact that Mykola Lukash translated over a thousand outstanding works of world literature from a hundred authors in twenty languages. He collected a vast amount of lexicographic material and made translations from English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Lithuanian, and other languages. It is substantiated that certain concepts from Mykola Lukash’s legacy can be used by modern educators and translators

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
