Full text linkAbstractNowadays, more and more people are turning to modern and contemporary style when it comes to choosing furniture for their homes, offices, restaurants, or hotels. In the past we might tend to back the use of natural elements, and one of the many popular products are bamboo. Bamboo as one of the most important non-timber forest products and fastest-growing plants in the world. As it known that bamboo craft is a folk craft products that has been around for a long time and developed hereditary, therefore we should preserve it. At first the userof bamboo furniture is from the family environment which later evolved to reach a wider market. Many craftsmen developed an appreciation of the existing ones to create a new design that is estimated to sell in the market. The hope is to makeour bamboo furniture craft products can compete with the products of other countries.AbstrakSaat ini semakin banyak orang yang beralih ke gaya modern dan kontemporer dalam memilih mebel untuk rumah tinggal mereka, kantor, restoran, atau bahkan hotel. Dahulu mungkin kita cenderung untuk memilih desain dan gaya klasik, tetapi sekarang ini orang cenderung kembali mempergunakan unsur-unsur alam, dan salah satu produk alam yang banyak digemari adalah bambu. Bambu sebagai salah satu produk non-kayu yang penting serta tanaman yang pertumbuhannya paling cepat di dunia. Seperti diketahui bahwa kerajinan bambu merupakan produk kerajinan rakyat yang telah ada sejak lama dan dikembangkan secara turun temurun, maka sudahselayaknya hal ini perlu dilestarikan. Pada mulanya pemakai kerajinan mebel bambu hanyalah dari lingkungan keluarga yang kemudian berkembang hingga mencapai lingkungan pasar yang lebih luas. Banyak para pengrajin mengembangkan apresiasi yang sudah ada dengan membuat desain baru yang diperkirakan akan laku di pasaran. No full textThe purpose of this study was to find out how comfortable students are in the online learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. The subject of this study was a student of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences 2019, University of North Sumatra. In this study, the author uses the Quality Function Deployment research method up to stage 3, namely to try to find out the service attributes desired by students, namely: level of importance, student and lecturer performance, technical parameters, procedures and convenience. THE TOLAKI CALENDAR SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING GOOD AND BAD DAYS
Full text linkThe Tolaki people continue to base their way of life on traditions like the Tolaki calendar for identifying good and bad days. The Tolaki tribe employs a tool that is often employed as a weather forecast or as a guide for the community to carry out certain actions to ascertain this. The formulation of the issue is brought up by the author, who asks questions like: How does the Tolaki calendar system work?, How are the good and bad days for the Tolaki people determined?, and How is astronomical research related to the Tolaki calendar system?. The Tolaki Culture Book, which is processed with journals linked to the Tolaki Tribal Calendar System, is used in this research technique, which is a library method. It is studied descriptively and presented qualitatively. These are the study's findings: The moon's position in the night sky is used as the basis for the Tolaki calendar. The meanings of the names of the days in the month are used by the Tolaki people to identify good and bad days, and they use Naga Hari, Kutika, and Bilangari to ascertain the precise day and hour. The Tolaki calendar is identical to the Hijri calendar in astronomy since it uses a lunar calendar that keeps track of the moon's orbit. The Tolaki community uses the concept of good days and bad days as a guide for carrying out activities, but it cannot be utilized as a model for how to do Islamic devotion

No full textTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang aplikasi pendaftaran ujian komprehensif berbasis android pada laboratorium Fakultas Komputer Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo dan diharapkan dapat membantu mempercepat dalam penyajian informasi dan pengolahan data yang lebih efisein. Proses pendaftaran ujian komprehensif di Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo yang bisa dikatakan masih belum efisien dikarenakan sistem pendaftaran ujian komprehensif yang diterapkan masih manual atau dapat dikatakan masih menggunakan pembukuan dimana mahasiswa masih harus bertemu langsung dengan panitia ujian untuk melakukan pendaftaran. Jenis dan yang digunakan dalama penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian R&D (Research and Development). Untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian menggunakan 3 metode yaitu metode observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan suatu aplikasi berbasis android yang dapat digunakan oleh mahasiswa untuk melakukan registrasi ujian online. Hasil dari pengujian ini adalah jumlah cyclomatic complexity = 21, independent path = 21, dan region = 21, karena jumlah ketiga parameter diatas bernilai sama maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi yang telah dibuat dapat dikatakan bebas dari kesalahan logika
HUBUNGAN ANEMIA DENGAN KEJADIAN KETUBAN PECAH DINI DI RSIA HUSADA BUNDA TAHUN 2021
Full text linkSaat ini KPD masih menjadi masalah di Dunia termasuk Indonesia dan memerlukan perhatian yang besar, karena prevalensinya yang cukup tinggi, angka kejadian KPD di dunia mencapai 12,3% dari total angka persalinan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan anemia dengan Kejadian Ketuban Pecah Dini di RSIA Husada Bunda Tahun 2021. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik dengan menggunakan desain penelitian case control yang bersifat retrospektif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh data ibu bersalin tahun 2020 sebanyak 233 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan perbandingan 1:1, yaitu 46 dengan sampel kasus (ibu yang mengalami KPD) dan 46 dengan sampel kontrol (ibu yang tidak mengalami KPD). Alat pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar checklist. Analisa data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisa univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa responden yang mengalami anemia yaitu 46,7%. Ada hubungan anemia dengan ketuban pecah dini dengan p value 0,003. Diharapkan Bagi petugas kesehatan terutama bidan dapat memberikan pelayanan ANC dengan baik, seperti memberikan KIE dan konseling pada ibu tentang pentingnya meminum tablet tambah darah, agar kejadian anemia tidak terjadi lagi sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinya ketuban pecah dini di RSIA Husada Bunda untuk meningkatkan mutu pelayanan kebidanan
ANALISIS PENGUKURAN BEBAN KERJA FISIK TERHADAP OPERATOR MESIN BORDIR MENGGUNAKAN METODE NORDIC BODY MAP (NBM) DAN METODE RAPID ENTIRE BODY ASSESMENT (REBA)
Full text linkPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis beban kerja fisik operator mesin bordir di Elteka Konveksi dengan menggunakan metode Nordic Body Map (NBM) dan Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA). Metode ini dipilih untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengevaluasi risiko ergonomis yang dihadapi oleh pekerja, serta untuk memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan yang dapat meningkatkan kenyamanan dan produktivitas kerja. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara dengan operator, yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi mendalam mengenai postur kerja dan keluhan fisik yang dialami. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap beban kerja yang tinggi, termasuk postur kerja yang tidak ergonomis dan durasi kerja yang panjang. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, disarankan untuk melakukan perbaikan pada desain tempat kerja dan memberikan pelatihan ergonomi kepada pekerja. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif bagi Elteka Konveksi dalam meningkatkan sistem kerja dan kesejahteraan karyawanThis study aims to analyze the physical workload of embroidery machine operators at Elteka Konveksi using the Nordic Body Map (NBM) and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) methods. This method was chosen to identify and evaluate ergonomic risks faced by workers, as well as to provide recommendations for improvements that can increase work comfort and productivity. Data collection was conducted through direct observation and interviews with operators, which aimed to obtain in-depth information about work postures and physical complaints experienced. The results of the analysis show that there are several factors that contribute to high workloads, including unergonomic work postures and long work duration. Based on the evaluation results, it is recommended to make improvements to the workplace design and provide ergonomic training to workers. This research is expected to make a positive contribution to Elteka Konveksi in improving the work system and employee welfare
RACISM REFLECTED IN MAYA ANGELOU’S POEM
Full text linkThe major problem of this research is racism reflected in Maya Angelou’s poems. The aim of this research is to find out how racism reflected in Maya Angelou’s poems. This research focuses in Maya Angelou’s poems especially about racism. The type of the research is qualitative research. The method of data collection is document analysis, and the technique of data collection is note taking, while the technique of data analysis is descriptive analysis in which the researcher interprets the text and the content of the poem. This research uses two data sources, namely primary and secondary data source. The primary data source of the study is Maya Angelou’s poem itself, from the collection of Maya Angelou published in 1994. The secondary data sources are Biography of the author Maya Angelou, websites in the internet about Maya Angelou, and other resources which support to analyze. Based on the sociological approach, the researcher concludes that Maya Angelou’s poems reflected racism based on the poem text and the expression in the poem. Maya Angelou’s poem also indicates types of racism such as slavery and discrimination. Promosi Merchandise Band Norbit
Full text linkCurrently in the city of Padang itself, death metal music is also widely favored among young people, marked by the emergence of many local bands in the death metal genre, one of which is called Norbit. Norbit is a Death Metal Cluster from Padang which was born in 2021 with 5 personnel, namely Adan Est as Vocalist, Cruelhammer as Guitarist, Blacksun as Bassist, Shiryo as Drummer and Juggernaut as Guitarist. The first single released by Norbit is titled Genocide. The number of metal bands like Norbit that develop in the middle of Padang city is a challenge for Norbit to compete, especially in introducing Norbit to the public and metal band lovers. One form of introduction is merchandise promotion. Based on the results of initial interviews with Norbit's vocalist about the promotion of merchandise clothes that have been done, it appears that the promotion of merchandise that has been done before is less effective and does not increase sales of Norbit clothes. The main media design that the author will use is in the form of promotional videos with cinematic techniques that will be published on social media such as Youtube and Instagram.The design of Norbit band merchandise promotion uses the Glass Box method, a rational thinking method that objectively and systematically examines things logically and is free from irrational thoughts and considerations.
 
Cohesiveness of NGOs and the community in the anti-coastal reclamation social movement
Full text linkThis research is an elaboration of the response of the coalition of NGOs and affected communities in rejecting the sand mining in Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi. This study aims to analyze the motives and methods of advocacy carried out by NGOs and affected communities. This study also tries to examine the factors that influence cohesiveness between those who are resistant to this extractive industry. This research uses a qualitative approach. We got data in this study through interviews, observations, and document reviews. This study found that the primary motive of the Save Coastal Alliance Against the Sea Sand Mine in Takalar expresses resistance from NGOs and affected communities on the economic and environmental effects of the extractive industry of sand mining. The advocacy method adopted includes four step strategies. The first is conducting political education for citizens; Second, build alliances with other NGOs and; Third is conducting a lawsuit and; Fourth, through non-litigation. The study also found that cohesiveness between NGOs and affected communities was the dynamics of each group internally. This has contributed to building the context of relations between NGOs and the community

In essence, gambling is an act that is contrary to religious, moral, decency and legal norms, and is dangerous to the livelihood and life of the community, nation and state. With various forms of gambling that have become so widespread in society, both openly and secretly, some people tend to be permissive and seem to view gambling as something normal. Gambling is one of the ills of society which is a crime, therefore efforts need to be made for people to stay away from and not engage in gambling, so the author is interested in conducting legal research with the title: "Efforts to Overcome the Crime of Gambling in the Dumai Police Area".. The main problem in this research is what efforts are made by the police to tackle criminal acts of gambling in the Dumai Police area, what are the obstacles in tackling criminal acts of gambling in the Dumai Police area. The type of research used is empirical research. Empirical Legal Research is a legal research method that uses empirical facts taken from human behavior. Meanwhile, judging from its nature, this research is descriptive in nature. The results of the author’s research are that the efforts made by the police in tackling criminal acts of gambling in the Dumai police area are by preventing the occurrence of criminal acts of gambling. Firstly, the Police provide warnings to perpetrators of the crime of capjikia gambling who can gamble in public places. Second, the Police establish relationships with religious leaders and community leaders to help provide direction and guidance to the community. And the obstacle in overcoming criminal acts of gambling in the Dumai police area is the need to apply appropriate and fair criminal sanctions with the aim of achieving the goals of punishment for gambling perpetrators. And mutual cooperation is needed between the criminal justice subsystem of the Police, Prosecutor’s Office, Courts and Correctional Institutions to handle and overcome cases of criminal gambling in the Dumai Police area
