    The development of information has an impact on the emergence of the work of world leaders, not least in the field of libraries. Two of them are Mike Eisenberg and Bob Berkowitz with the work of a literacy model The Big6. The Big6 consists of 6 stages and each stage consists of 2 subdivisions. These two figures emphasize the importance of information skills for problem-solving with a systematic framework. The research method used is a literature study. Data collection is done by means of documentation from articles that have been published on the internet. The data analysis technique chosen is content analysis. To prevent misinformation, the author re-checks the articles used. The results of this study state that The Big6's literacy model can answer anxiety in unraveling information problems. The development of this model can be accessed on the official website of The Big6. One form of innovation from this model is the emergence of The Big6 in a technological context which is almost the same as the stages in Christine Bruce's Seven Faces of Information Literacy. The benefits of this research can be used as a solution in problem-solving.     Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui Urgensi Laporan Kinerja dalam Mendukung Proses Akreditasi Perpustakaan Sekolah Tinggi Pembangunan Masyarakat Desa “APMD”. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengetahui fakta di lapangan mengenai prilaku, persepsi, dan tindakan mengenai Urgensi Laporan Kinerja dalam Mendukung Proses Akreditasi Perpustakaan STPMD “APMD” Yogyakarta yang datanya diperoleh dari bulan Maret sampai Juni 2023. Hasil penelitian ini sejak berdirinya Sekolah Tinggi Pembangunan Masyarakat Desa “APMD” Yogyakarta tahun 1965, hingga tahun 2019 mereka tidak memikirkan masalah akreditasi perpustakaan bagi mereka yang penting perpustakaan bisa memberi pelayanan kepada pengguna dalam mendukung terlaksananya Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Perpustakaan STPMD “APMD” Yogyakarta belum pernah membuat laporan, maka untuk komponen laporan baik menggunakan instrument 6 atau 9 komponen maka jawabannya ada pada opsi (e) dengan skor 1. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa laporan kinerja perpustakaan berperan penting dalam mendukung proses akreditasi perpustakaan

    Perpustakaan berkewajiban menyediakan akses ke sumber informasi yang dimiliki oleh perpustakaan lewat sarana temu kembali informasi menjadisalah satu tugas penting perpustakaan.OPAC adalah salah satu sarana temu kembali informasi yangberfungsi memberitahu kepada pengguna apa yang dimiliki oleh perpustakaan, apalagi saat ini katalog dikembangkan dalam bentuk online yaitu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kelengkapan fasilitas dan kapabilitas searching dan browsing pada OPAC perpustakaan UIN. Selain itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi precision (ketepatan) OPAC sebagai sarana temu kembali informasi dan mengujinapakah fasilitas searching berpengaruh terhadap tingkat precision.Dengan menggunakan data kualitatis yaitu yang berkaitan dengan kelengkapan fasilitas searching dan browsing, maka peneliti mencoba untuk melihat efektivitas OPAC Perpustakaan Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) sebagai system temu kembali dengan mengambil lima OPAC UIN sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa fasilitas searching dan browsing yang tidak dimilikioleh OPAC UIN seperti menu bantuan penelusuran,keterbtasan deskripsi bibliografi. Dan OPAC yang memiliki fasilitas yang paling lengkap memiliki ketepatan yang tinggi sedangkan yang memiliki fasilitas paling minim memiliki nilai ketepatan yang rendah

    Perpustakaan perguruan tinggi memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung misi perguruan tinggi sebagai lembaga induknya.UIN Sunan Kalijaga yang sedang merancang sebagai world class university perlu dukungan dari perpustakaan dengan perannya sebagai research library.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kondisi perpustakaan saat ini dalam mengambil peran sebagai research library. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara, untuk menjawab tujuh unsur penting yaitu kebijakan perpustakaan, teknologi, kenyamanan dan kelengkapan fasilitas yang tersedia, koleksi perpustakaan sebagai pendukung pembelajaran dan penelitian, layanan dan perhatian pada pemustaka, kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak and kompetensi pustakawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan sudah memenuhi 7 unsur tersebut yaitu kebijakan yang mendukung, teknologi yang tersedia seperti tersedianya workstation gratis, akses internet gratis, tmesin peminjaman mandiri melalui MPS dan MPK, mesin foto copy, OPAC, dan institutional repository. Fasilitas penunjang yang nyaman juga tersedia seperti ruang baca, kafetaria, ruang berAC. Unsur lain seperti layanan untuk pemustaka berupa layanan referensi dan layanan khusus berupa difabel corner, koleksi yang beragam baik dari segi subjek, bahasa maupun kedalaman koleksi, terjalinnya kerjasama internal maupun eksternal dan kompetensi pustakawan. Akan tetapi di beberapa elemen belum maksimal, sehingga perlu untuk ditingkatkan lagi di beberapa sector

    Language is the most important aspect in human interaction. People communicate and interact with other using the language. In global community, English has become an international language that is used by many people around the world. Reading is one of English language skills and it is one of the ways to learn English. Reading activity should get more attention. It is because there are many students who get some difficulties in understanding a text. In this research inform the using of talking stick in teaching reading. The objective of this research was to find out whether there was any significant difference in improvement the reading ability of recount text of the tenth grade students of SMK Rosma Karawang in academic year 2018/2019 by using talking stick method. The method used was quantitative method. In this research the writer used pre-experimental design of one group pretest and posttest. The data were analyzed by using paired sample test and processed by using SPSS 23 for windows. The results of the research showed there was significant increase of student’s reading ability.Keywords: Teaching, Reading, Talking Stic

    This Mendeley training aims to facilitate students in making scientific work citations on assignments, theses, theses and so on. The method used to make this training there are three stages, namely the pre-training, on-going training and post-training stages. The result of this paper is that using Mendeley as an application to create written citations makes it very easy for all people, both students and other writers. Mendeley itself is a free software that was created to manage various research and can be used as a data store. In this training, 25 students from Amikom University took part in the Mendeley training. There were two materials that were presented and practiced, namely Mendeley Desktop and Mendeley Reference. Both Mendeley have a number of features in common, but currently most students use Mendeley Reference

    Abstract: This study aims to: (1) describe the perception of the webtoon fans community on the attractiveness of the secret of angel webtoon; (2) describe reading interest in the webtoon fans community; (3) describe the effect of the secret of angel's webtoon attractiveness on reading interest in the webtoon fans community. This research includes quantitative research with descriptive research methods. The research subject is the webtoon fans community and the object is the attraction of the secret of angel webtoon. The variables in the study were the variable webtoon attractiveness and reading interest. The population in this study is the webtoon fan community on Telegram called Fans Webtoon Indonesia. The results stated that the perception of the webtoon fan community towards the attractiveness of the secret of angel webtoon is in the very good category and the reading interest of webtoon fans community is in the good category. For the results of the simple linear regression test, it can be seen that the attractiveness of the secret of angel webtoon affects the reading interest of the webtoon fan community by 38,2%

    The library is a service unit that becomes a source of information that has great power because it covers a variety of science ranging from economics, politics, art, health and other sciences. As we know that the library is important for us to introduce to the community, especially to students or students who are very necessary to support the education that is being pursued. One way that can be done to introduce the library is to hold a library promotion ucer education program created by the library to bridge between the library and its library and as one way or strategy to promote the library. This article discusses the implementation of ucer education in upt malikussaleh university library using lecture methods, audio / videovisual, demonstrations or demonstrations and also the library playbook. The obstacle faced is still the lack of librarian knowledge about the importance of ucer education activities in the library and also constrained at the time and location. Efforts that can be done is to provide an understanding of the importance of the implementation of ucer education in the library to library personnel and librarians in the library and should ucer education also be done online
