CONSTRUCTING INTERFAITH HARMONY THROUGH THE DA’WAH OF KH. MAHFUD RIDWAN IN SEMARANG, INDONESIA
No full textReligious activists or da'i enlighten the mad'u (disciples) to coexist well and peacefully, require tolerant and wise da'wah, and convey the message of Islam as a mercy for all nature. However, the practice of da'wah is often faced with difficulties and obstacles. To overcome these challenges, a person needs to understand the concept of state life that binds all people from various groups and social groups to prevent unexpected societal conflicts. The purpose of this research is to gain a better understanding of the condition of Semarang Regency society before and after KH. Mahfud Ridwan's preaching. In addition, this research will also analyze the role of da'wah in creating inter-religious harmony from 1984 to 2015. This research was conducted in a descriptive qualitative manner using a historical approach. Research data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing process was used to analyze the data, and triangulation was used for data validation. The results showed that the condition of the people of Semarang Regency had been better before KH. Mahfud Ridwan's preaching was better afterward. His preaching uses various methods, such as the bil hikmah method, using noble reasoning, wisdom, and a clean heart. Various social and religious organizations, including the NGO Yayasan Desaku Maju, Forum Gedangan, FSUB, and the SOBAT movement, preach based on this bill hikmah. KH also established Edi Mancoro Islamic Boarding School. Mahfud Ridwan benefits the community and forms santri with religious, national, and societal insights. The method of bil mau'idzah hasanah is by holding regular recitations, teaching in pesantren and madrasah, holding seven minutes sermons, and holding activities on Islamic holidays. No full textRidwan Kamil merupakan sosok pemimpin baru dewasa ini, beliau adalah Walikota
Bandung periode 2013-2018. Pemimpin dengan karakter yang ramah, kreatif, dan
berprestasi. Banyak perubahan yang telah dibawanya selama menjadi pemimpin di
kota Bandung, terutama pembangungan di bidang infrastuktur. Hal ini didasari dari
pendidikan dan pekerjaan sebelum menjadi walikota, yaitu sebagai seorang arsitek.
Sebagai bentuk apresiasi penulis terhadap kontribusi dan kinerjanya sebagai walikota
Bandung, muncul sebuah gagasan untuk mengapresiasi figur Ridwan Kamil dalam
sebuah karya seni lukis. Pada karya seni lukis yang dibuat akan menitikberatkan pada
kepribadian dan keseharian Ridwan Kamil yang menjadi hal yang melekat dalam
pikiran masyarakat sebagai konsep dalam lukisan yang mengambil aliran
ekspresionisme. Dalam lukisan dengan teknik ekspresionisme ini, penulis
menonjolkan potret ekspresi, garis, dan warna-warna yang mewakili sosok Ridwan
Kamil dalam kesehariannya sebagai pemimpin di pemerintahan dan pemimpin di
keluarga dan masyarakat terdekatnya. Lukisan yang dibuat oleh penulis mengadaptasi
karya-karya seni lukis ekspresionisme yang sebelumnya telah dibuat oleh seniman
besar seperti Affandi dan Voka. Dalam proses penciptaan karya seni lukis ini,
beberapa tahapan yang dilakukan setelah penemuan ide adalah melakukan
kontemplasi dan stimulasi agar karya yang dibuat sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan.
Terdapat 6 buah karya dengan beberapa tema yang mewakili figur Ridwan Kamil dan
peristiwa yang telah dilaluinya, seperti karya yang berjudul “Loyalitas Tanpa Batas”
yang mengingatkan kita pada nadzar Ridwan Kamil yang akan mencukur pendek
rambutnya jika Persib juara Liga Super Indonesia 2014 atau karya dengan judul
“Sosok Pemimpin Baru” yang secara visual digambarkan dengan figur Ridwan Kamil
yang menggunakan seragam walikota. Adapun harapan dari hasil karya yang telah
dibuat oleh penulis di kemudian hari adalah adanya penyempurnaan dalam riset
terhadap tokoh dengan menambah sumber buku-buku autobiografi tokoh itu sendiri
dan melakukan wawancara langsung dengan tokoh yang bersangkutan sehingga
otentitas materi yang dirumuskan bersumber dari sumber yang terpercaya. Deformasi
bentuk dari figur menjadi bentuk yang abstrak dan penambahan elemen estetis seperti
kain, serbuk pasir, dan bahan daur ulang bisa membuat karya menjadi memiliki kesan
yang inovatif dan variatif dibandingkan karya lukis biasa yang cenderung
menggunakan bahan konvensional seperti kanvas, kuas dan cat akrilik.;--Ridwan Kamil is a new leader today, he is Mayor of Bandung period 2013-2018.
Leaders with a friendly, creative and accomplished character. Many changes that
have been brought during the leadership in the city of Bandung, especially
development in the field of infrastructure. It is based on education and work before
becoming mayor, he is an architect. As a form of appreciation of the author of his
contribution and performance as mayor of Bandung, came an idea to appreciate the
figure Ridwan Kamil in a work of painting. In the work of painting is made will focus
on the personality and daily Ridwan Kamil which became inherent in the minds of
society as a concept in painting that takes the flow of expressionism. In this painting
with this expressionism technique, the authors highlight the portraits of expressions,
lines, and colors that represent the figure of Ridwan Kamil in his daily life as a leader
in government and leaders in his immediate family and community. The paintings
created by the author are also adapted from works of expressionism paintings that had
previously been made by great artists such as Affandi and Voka. In the process of
creating this painting, several stages done after the discovery of the idea is to do
contemplation and stimulation for the work made in accordance with what is
expected. There are 6 artworks with several themes representing the figure of Ridwan
Kamil and the events he has passed, such as the work entitled "Unlimited Loyalty"
which reminds us of the promise of Ridwan Kamil who will shave her hair short if
Persib Indonesian Super League champion 2014 or work with title "The New Leader"
is visually depicted with the figure of Ridwan Kamil who uses the mayor's uniform.
the hope of the work that has been made by the author in the future is the refinement
in research on the character by adding the source autobiographical books of the
character itself and conduct direct interviews with the figures concerned so that the
authenticity of the material formulated sourced from reliable sources. The

Permasalahan ini muncul dalam rangka untuk memberikan evaluasi kepada pelayan publik supaya lebih baik. Pelayan publik dituntut dapat menciptakan suatu ide atau inovasi pelayanan supaya kepuasan suatu masyarakat dapat terjamin. Media sosial menjadi solutif-alternative yang sangat berperan penting untuk optimalisasi sebuah sistem kerja pemerintah, salah satunya melalui media sosial twitter. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan secara akademik dan ilmiah tentang pemanfaatan media sosial twitter dalam birokrasi pemerintahan sebagai upaya peningkatan pelayanan prima dengan berbagai informasi peristiwa yang penulis dapatkan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif, sedangkan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis isi (content analysis) yang memuat metode induksi, deduksi, dan komparasi. Objek penelitian ini adalah media sosial akun twitter @ganjarPranowo dan akun twitter @ridwanKamil sebagai akun twitter resmi kepemilikan Ganjar Pranowo dan Ridwan Kamil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemanfaatan media sosial twitter dalam birokrasi pemerintahan Ganjar Pranowo dan Ridwan Kamil sebagai upaya peningkatan pelayanan prima sudah memenuhi aspek variabel teori pelayanan prima. Dalam mewujudkan pelayanan prima melalui media sosial twitter telah menerapkan standar: kemampuan (ability), sikap (attitude), penampilan (appearance), perhatian (attention), tindakan (action), dan tanggung jawab (accountability). Dengan adanya media sosial twitter ini pemerintah menjadi lebih mudah untuk mengakses suatu informasi yang timbul di masyarakat, sehingga interaksi masyarakat dengan pemerintah menjadi mudah dan efektif. AbstractPublic service is an activity to meet the needs of the community in the form of services and goods, but currently the poor public services that are felt by the community are convoluted services, the skills of public servants who are less professional, and service time that is less effective and efficient. So, social media becomes a solutive alternative that plays an important role in optimizing a government work system, one of which is through social media Twitter. The purpose of this study is to describe academically and scientifically about the use of social media Twitter in the government bureaucracy as an effort to improve excellent service with various information events that the author gets. This research method uses a qualitative-descriptive approach, while the analytical technique used is content analysis which contains the methods of induction, deduction, and comparison. The object of this research is the social media account @ganjarPranowo and @ridwanKamil twitter account as the official twitter account of Ganjar Pranowo and Ridwan Kamil. The results showed the use of social media Twitter in the government bureaucracy of Ganjar Pranowo and Ridwan Kamil as an effort to improve excellent service had fulfilled variable aspects of excellent service theory. The important purpose in this research, the author tries to explain the translation procedures used in translating at poem Prayer for Rain by David Campbell. The writer uses descriptive qualitative method, to describe and analyze identifies the process of how an English word of the poem is translated into Bahasa Indonesia. In addition, this study also identifies whether the translation process results the changes of manner. To suport the analyses, the writer use some books, and dictionaries, namely A Text book of Translation (Peter Newmark), Teori & Praktek Penerjemahan (Frans Sayogie), Kamus Lengkap Indonesia-Inggris a(2004). The writer uses the theory of translation procedure. Finally, the writer finds fourteen words of translation procedure from Prayer for Rain poem. No full textAbstract: A better and calmer future is the destination of everybody’s vision. Technology has similar theories to describe what technology will look like in the near and far future as a factor of human satisfaction and life feasibility. We are continuously dealing with digital data in this modern era, from social media memes to highly classified government data, which is dependent on more sophisticated technology that facilitates the sharing of that digital data. Those applications are under the concept of ubiquitous computing (UbiComp). Methods of sharing that digital data, on the other hand, differ and are transferred and received through various communication mediums, one of which is Visible Light Communication (VLC), which communicates via the visible portion of the electromagnetic (EM) spectrum. Therefore, by using the concept of Ubiquitous Computing, in this article, we will provide and analyze how Visible Light Communication touches Ubiquitous Computing.

Meskipun demikian, Literasi dalam hal akad dan produk bank syariah masih sedikit dilakukan di berbagai daerah. Program pengabdian ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan literasi masyarakat khususnya daerah pegunungan terhadap akad dan produk perbankan syariah. Metode yang dilakukan dalam program pengabdian ini adalah menggunakan metode PAR. Tim Program pengabdian melaukan edukasi melalui seminar dan pendampingan dimasyarakat dengan menggunakan langkah dan berbagai macam tahapan. Tahapan yang pertama adalah pemetaan kondisi lokasi pengabdian, sasaran program pengabdian dan kebutuhan materi pengabdian. Tahap kedua, tim pengabdian melakukan konsolidasi dengan kepala desa dan perangkat desa terkait program selama beberapa pertemuan dan mendata kebutuhan peserta program pengabdian. Tahap ketiga, Tim mengadakan sosialisasi untuk meningkatkan literasi dengan menghadirkan narasumber dan peserta dari perwakilan unsur masyarakat Desa Colo dan Japan. Keempat, Tim melakukan evaluasi hasil literasi yang menunjukkan peningkatan literasi dan evaluasi kebutuhan serta kendala masyarakat. Hasilnya Peserta cukup antusias dalam kegiatan literasi akad dan produk perbankan syariah namun beberapa masyarakat ada yang masih trauma dengan adanya Koperasi Simpan Pinjam dan Pembiayaan Syariah di Colo yang bangkrut. Mereka masih butuh peningkatkan kepercayaan kepada lembaga keuangan syariah. Rekomendasi pengabdian selanjutnya perlu melakukan pendampingan juga ke Lembaga Keuangan Syariah untuk mencegah kebangkrutan akibat dari froud karyawannya
NEOLOGISME DALAM IKLAN BMW
No full textIn an advertisement, an understanding of the text or sentences in the advertisement is needed with the aim that the message to be conveyed by the author is understood by the reader. This advertising itself is in the form of the most persuasive salesmessages so that the advertising language itself must be easily observed and understood by those addressed to potential buyers. Over time, the language in advertisements has been modified to suit the times, such as borrowing from foreign languages or new words composed of several words. Neologism is a term of lexicology used in the mid-20th century which in general, neologism is understood as a lexical unit or unit of meaning formed in the development of language in speech communities and accepted by language users. The purpose of using neologisms in this advertisement is that new words are lexical units of expressions used by people and neologisms get from other people to simplify and harmonize. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of neologism sentences in BMW advertisements by reviewing the study of the concept of neologism sentences according to the study of lexical stylistics. The research method used is a qualitativemethod with the theory of Drowdowski, Yule, Shchipitsina, Duden and Ridwan. The object under study is in the form of 6 sentences in BMW advertisements, which include neologisms found on the official BMW page account in Germany. The results showed that the 6 data contained neologism sentences using 3 words combining techniques, 2 words borrowing techniques in foreign languages, and using 1 word acronyms

Oily Water Separator (OWS) merupakan salah satu permesinan bantu yang
mampu memisahkan minyak dari air buangan yang mengandung minyak sampai
hasil pemisahannya mencapai kurang dari 15 ppm sehingga air buangan kelaut
tidak menimbulkan pencemaran. Pesawat ini mempunyai peranan untuk
mencegah terjadinya pencemaran dilaut sesuai dengan MARPOL 1973. Adapun
tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor yang menyebabkan
tingginya kandungan minyak pada air buangan hasil proses oily water separator,
untuk mengetahui dampak dari faktor yang menyebabkan tingginya kandungan
minyak pada air buangan hasil proses oily water separator, untuk mengetahui
upaya apa yang dilakukan dari faktor penyebab tingginya kandungan minyak pada
air buangan hasil proses oily water separator.
.Penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode gabungan antara SHEL
(Softwere, Hardwere, Environment, Livewere) dan USG (Urgent, Seriousness,
Growth) sebagai teknik analisa data untuk menganalisa masalah yang ada pada
pesawat oily water separator, yaitu faktor-faktor apakah yang menyebabkan
meningkatnya kandungan minyak hasil proses oily water separtor dan upaya apa
yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi faktor–faktor dari permasalahan tersebut dengan
menganalisa faktor menggunakan metode SHEL dan mencari prioritas utama atau
faktor utama dengan menggunakan USG.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan penulis di kapal MT. Tri
Wings pada tanggal 24 Oktober 2016 sampai dengan 26 Oktober 2017, dapat
disimpulkan bahwa tingginya kandungan minyak pada air buangan hasil proses
oily water separator terdapat empat faktor prioritas masalah yaitu; kategori
softwere berupa pelaksanaan jadwal perawatan tidak tepat waktu, kategori
hardwere berupa kotornya filter coalesscer, kategori environment berupa bilge
well banyak mengandung kotoran, kategori livewere berupa kurangnya
pengetahuan crew kapal. Upaya yang dilakukan dari keempat faktor prioritas
dengan menjalankan maintenance plan yang sudah tertera pada manual book oily
water separator, melakukan tindakan preventive maintenance dan predictive
maintenance, penggantian filter coalesscer, pembersihan bilge well, belajar
tentang aspek yang belum diketahui melalui manual book.

Oily Water Separator (OWS) is one of the auxiliary machinery that is able
to separate oil from waste water containing oil until the results of its separation
reach less than 15 ppm so that the sea waste water does not cause pollution. This
aircraft has a role to prevent the occurrence of pollution in the sea in accordance
with MARPOL 1973. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that
cause high oil content in wastewater from the oily water separator process, to
determine the impact of factors that cause high oil content in waste water the
result of oily water separator process, to find out what efforts are made from the
causes of the high oil content in waste water resulting from the oily water
separator process.
This study the author uses a combined method between SHEL (Softwere,
Hardwere, Environment, Livewere) and USG (Urgent, Seriousness, Growth) as a
data analysis technique to analyze the problems that exist in oily water separator
aircraft, which are the factors that cause increased the oil content of the oily water
oil process and what efforts are made to overcome the factors of the problem by
analyzing the factors using the SHEL method and looking for the main priority or
main factor using ultrasound.
Based on the results of research conducted by the author on the MT ship.
Tri Wings from October 24, 2016 to October 26, 2017, it can be concluded that
the high oil content in waste water from the oily water separator process has four
priority factors, namely; the software category in the form of the implementation
of a non-timely maintenance schedule, the hardwares category in the form of dirty
coalesscer filters, the environmental category in the form of bilge well contains a
lot of impurities, livewere category in the form of lack of knowledge of the ship
crew. Efforts are made from the four priority factors by carrying out a
maintenance plan that has been written on the oily water separator book manual,
carrying out preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance actions,
replacing the coalesscer filter, cleaning bilge well, learning about unknown
aspects through the manual book
