Dynamics of Antenatal Care and Birth Delivery Preferences in Puskesmas Kassi-Kassi, Makassar City, South Sulawesi
Background: Riskesdas 2010 illustrates that birth deliveries by health workers in low-income community reached 69.3%; while deliveries were conducted health workers at health facilities only reached 55.4%. This illustrates that the health facility or program that has given local or central government has not run optimally. Methods:This study aims to determine antenatal care and birth delivery preferences in the community and what factors underlie the preference. The location of research is precisely in the area of Puskesmas Kassi-kassi, Makassar City. Results showed that the mother already has the knowledge, attitudes and behavior quite well in maintaining health. Society does not always take advantage of government facilities. Antinatal care is mostly done in the doctor or midwife in private practice for reasons of convenience and prestige; while health centers for labor is still the main choice for the cheapest. Conclusion: Urban community in Kassi Health Center area have many option other than health center the quality only type of services is factor related to costumer choice because they are able to finance the cost. Recommendation: Government need to involve the private sector and do not ignore the social economic and culture condition for the successful of program

The WKLMC empirical line lists (5852-7919 cm‑1) for methane between 80 K and 296 K: "Final" lists for atmospheric and planetary applications
International audienceThe "final" version of the WKLMC (Wang, Kassi, Leshchishina, Mondelain, Campargue) empirical lists for methane at 80 K and 296 K is provided for the 5852-7919 cm‑1 region. It was obtained by combining the WKMC list [A. Campargue, O. Leshchishina, L. Wang, D. Mondelain, S. Kassi, A.V. Nikitin, J. Quant. Spectrosc. Radiat. Transfer 113 (2012) 1855-1873] with new results obtained by differential absorption spectroscopy (DAS) in the 2ν3 region (5852-6183 cm‑1) [A. Campargue, O. Leshchishina, D. Mondelain, S. Kassi and A. Coustenis, J. Quant. Spectrosc. Radiat. Transfer 118 (2013) 49-59]. Two empirical lists for methane at 296 K and 80 K in "natural" abundance are provided for atmospheric and planetary applications, respectively. They include the isotopologue identification (12CH4, 13CH4 and CH3D) and the lower state energy level, Eemp, derived from the ratio of the line intensities measured at 296 K and 80 K. The 296 K list includes 55 262 absorption lines. The 80 K list is made applicable over a wider range of temperatures by including 30 282 lines observed only at 296 K, with corresponding lower state energy values chosen to make them below the detectivity limit at 80 K. Overall, the 80 K list includes 73 225 absorption lines. For the two temperatures, we provide the list in HITRAN format together with a file allowing for a line by line traceability of the listed spectroscopic parameters. The extrapolation capabilities of the 296 K list towards high temperature (˜1200 K) are discussed
CAVITY-ENHANCED ABSORPTION SPECTROSCOPY WITH A MODE-LOCKED FEMTOSECOND LASER
Author Institution: Laboratoire de Spectrom\'{e}trie Physique --- CNRS UMR 5588, Universit\'{e} J. Fourier-Grenoble IThe wide spectral coverage and high sensitivity of Mode-Locked Cavity Enhanced Absorption Spectroscopy (ML-CEAS) are illustrated by the observation of a very high overtone transition of in the blue spectral region (420 nm, 8 quanta of CH stretch excitation), which was easily accessed by frequency-doubling a modelocked femtosecond Ti:Sapphire laser. The detection limit is about . The rotational analysis of this parallel band, centred at , is presented and the vibrational assignment is discussed. T.Gherman, S. Kassi, A. Campargue, D. Diffusive author(s), cohesive author: Analysis of S/N (1994)
This study indicates the ways in which various aspects of the author(s) are brought forth in Dumb type’s performance art, the S/N production. Previous research has suggested a non-hierarchical organization of Dumb type and the absence of a “privileged author” in Dumb type’s collaborative work, S/N. However, the results that I have investigated from member’s interviews on the creative process of S/N along with my analysis of the recorded images of S/N, indicate a different aspect of the author(s). First, S/N was created through, so to speak, the collective ideas of the members of Dumb type. Further, S/N has at least nine quotations from previous performances, installations, and printed writings, besides the work-in-progress technique. Explicating one of the “author functions” as given by Michel Foucault, each text has plural subjects of the author. However, it has been revealed from members’ interviews that Teiji Furuhashi had a decision-making role in selecting the members’ ideas within the performance. Since then, S/N has had plural subjects of creation; however, Furuhashi is one of the subjects of creation along with the “privileged author.” S/N has plural authors (diffusive authors) yet at the same time, it has a “privileged author,” Teiji Furuhashi (cohesive author)
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Cavity Enhanced absorption spectroscopy with an Optical Comb: Detection of atmospheric radicals in the near UV.
International audienceThe atmospheric chemistry community suffers a lack of fast, reliable and space resolved measurement for a wide set of very reactive molecules (e.g. radicals such as OH, NO3, BrO, IO, etc.). Due to their high reactivity, these molecules largely control the lifetime and concentration of numerous key atmospheric species. The concentrations of radicals are extremely low (ppbv or less) and highly variable in time and space. Measuring their concentration is often extremely laborious, expensive and requires heavy equipment (chemical sampling and treatment followed by mass spectrometry and/or chromatography). We recently introduced an optical spectroscopy technique based on a femtosecond laser oscillator, "Mode-Locked Cavity-Enhanced Absorption Spectroscopy", that we propose to develop into an instrument for in situ measurement of local concentration of traces of reactive molecules [1-3]. We have already demonstrated the possibility of measuring part in 1E12 by volume concentrations of radicals of high atmospheric interest, such as IO or BrO [4], as needed for monitoring these species in the environment. We apply cavity-enhanced absorption spectroscopy in the near UV range using a frequency-doubled Ti:Sa modelocked femtosecond laser. Efficient broadband injection of a high finesse cavity is obtained by matching this optical frequency-comb source to the comb of cavity transmission resonances. A grating spectrograph and a detector array disperse and detect the spectrum transmitted by the cavity carrying the absorption features of intracavity molecules. IO traces were obtained by mixing together controlled flows of gaseous iodine and ozone inside a high finesse cavity (F~6000). A Chameleon Ultra II ML-Laser (gracefully lent during 1 month by Coherent Inc.) was frequency doubled to address an absorption band of IO at 436 nm. A locking scheme allowed the cavity transmission to be smooth and stable. The transmitted light was dispersed using a high resolution (0.07nm) grating spectrograph (HR4 Jobin-Yvon) and collected with a cooled CCD linear array (1024 pixels). As the cavity finesse was measured by the ringdown time, and the IO absorption cross section is known, we could estimate that we had produced 0.2 ppbv of IO. The absorption noise level (7E-10cm-1 after 10s averaging) corresponded to a detection limit of 3 ppt par racine de Hertz. It is to be noted that the mirrors yielding a finesse of 6000 around 436 nm were centered at 460 nm, where the cavity finesse was measured to be about 20 000. Moreover, modern solid state ML lasers are compact and could function reliably in environmental research stations. The spectral range from 500 down to 225 nm, accessible by efficient frequency doubling and tripling, includes strong absorption bands of important species; in particular, given their known optical cross sections, we estimate detection limits in the range 1-10 pptv for IO, BrO, OClO, OIO, and OBrO, sufficient for environmental measurements. ClO, HONO, HCHO, NO2, SO2, and O3 should be detectable down to 10-100 pptvs. The OH radical should be visible at 308 nm below 0.1 pptv, not far from typical ambient concentrations. [1] T.
