    Healthcare Activism, Marketization, and the Collective Good

    This chapter engages with three key dynamics of contemporary healthcare - digitalization, marketization and individualization. It draws on several theoretical frameworks to conceptualize the notion of collective good and to consider how healthcare activism may play into defining and defending the collective good when faced with the outlined societal, economic, and scientific dynamics.     This research focuses on the revitalization of songs by Ismail Marzuki which is considered important as an effort to increase the appreciation of generation Z, towards Indonesian national composers of the early 20th century. The research problem is the revitalization efforts carried out by generation Z in several Ismail Marzuki’ songs. This research is qualitative using a case study method by exploring one case in a limited system. The subject of this research is some college students of Music Education Study Program and Music Study Program, FPSD, Indonesia University of Education (UPI). The research findings are the revitalization of several Ismail Marzuki’s songs to increase the appreciation of students as a part of generation Z is realized in music arrangements and performance. The evaluations of music arrangements and performance by Generation Z audiences show their appreciation toward the 20th Century Indonesian National Composers. The conclusion of this research is that students as a part of generation Z arranged several of Ismail Marzuki’s songs in the swing jazz style as a musical preference that is closely related to their previous musical educational background. Revitalization efforts are also manifested in music performance, which not only involve musical aspects, but also nonmusical ones. Musical arrangements that relevant to Generation Z characters as well as musical performances that collaborate musical and non-musical aspects have a significant impact on the Generation Z’s appreciation toward the 20th Century Indonesian National Composers

    Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli tehdä mediakasvatuksellinen iPad-kirja "Hilkka Punainen & Susi", jota voitaisiin käyttää kirjastoissa, kouluissa ja kotona mediakasvatuksen apuvälineenä. Mediakasvatus ei ole ainoastaan medioiden ja välineiden käyttötaidon opettelua, vaan myös sellaisten turvataitojen opettelua, joiden tarkoituksena on parantaa lasten taitoja selviytyä uhkaavissa tilanteissa ja ohjata heitä turvautumaan luotettaviin aikuisiin. Teoksella on useita mediakasvatuksellisia tasoja. Teoksen avulla voi opettaa suojakeinoja internetin ongelmia vastaan, mutta sillä voi myös esitellä iPadin sekä iBooks Authorin ominaisuuksia. Tutkimusongelmana oli: ”Miten iPad-kirjat ja sovellukset tukevat oppimista ja kasvatusta perinteisestä kirjasta poikkeavilla tavoilla?” Benchmarking-menetelmällä saatiin tulokseksi, että eroavia tekijöitä olivat tietojen päivitettävyys, erilaisten multimedioiden yhdistämismahdollisuus, vuorovaikutteisuus, mahdollisuus syventää oppimista erilaisten sisäänrakennettujen lisälaitteiden avulla, mahdollisuus lisätä kokemuksellisuutta jatketulla todellisuudella, tiedonsaannin nopeus sekä mahdollisuus pakata valtavat määrät tietoa pieneen tilaan.The aim of the thesis was to make a media educational iPad book called "Hilkka Punainen & Susi". The book can be used as a media educational tool in libraries, schools and at home. Media education is not only about how to use different media, but it is also about giving means to children to manage threatening situations and guiding them to trust reliable adults. The book teaches media education on different levels. It can teach precautions against Internet problems but it can also be used to introduce iPad and iBooks Author. The research problem was: "How can iPad books and applications support learning and education in different ways than traditional books?" The result was achieved by using benchmarking. The result was that iPad books and applications differ from traditional books by being updatable, by combining different kinds of multimedia, by being interactive, by having a possibility to deepen learning experiences by using inbuilt equipment and by being more experimental by using augmented reality. The fastness of getting information and the possibility to pack enormous amount of knowledge in small package are the also features of iPad

    Pembentukan Identitas Sosial Perempuan pada Zaman Orde Baru dalam Novel Saman Karya Ayu Utami

    This paper discusses the formation of women's identity in the novel Saman. Lately, women's social identity has changed in meaning with the times, so the author wants to analyze the identity of women in this novel. This novel has a background in the New Order era, the author wants to analyze how the formation of women's identity at that time. This paperis a qualitative approach with descriptive study by the writer reading the novel. The author uses Henri Tajfel's Theory of identity which explains that social identity is part of the concept of each individual who comes from his membership and is in a social group where the social group has the same values and emotional significance in the membership. The results of the analysis show that there is a strong influence from the socialization stage of parents to children because parents are the first and foremost people who carry out social interactions with children. In addition, in the novel, during the New Order era, there was a state policy towards women or mothers/parents with the five dharma program so that it had an influence on the formation of women's identity, besides that the influence of the environment and policies in the New Order era had a strong influence on the formation of women's identity.Tulisan ini membahas tentang pembentukan identitas perempuan dalam novel Saman. Akhir akhir ini identitas sosial perempuan menjadi berubah arti seiring berkembangnya zaman, oleh sebab itu penulis ingin menganalisis tentang identitas perempuan pada novel ini. Novel ini berlatar belakang waktu pada zaman orde baru, penulis ingin menganalisis bagaimana pembentukan identitas perempuan pada zaman itu. Tulisan ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan studi deskriptif dengan cara penulis membaca novel tersebut. Penulis menggunakan Teori identitas Henri Tajfel menjelaskan terkait identitas sosial yaitu sebagai sebuah konsep pada setiap individu yang asal muasalnya dari keanggotaan komunitas dan berada dalam komunitas sosial tersebut, komunitas tersebut merupakan kelompok sosial yang memiliki kesamaan nilai serta kesamaan emosional dalam keanggotaan komunitas tersebut. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya pengaruh kuat dari tahap sosialisasi orang tua pada anak dikarenakan orang tua adalah orang pertama dan utama yang melakukan interaksi sosial dengan anak. Selain itu, dalam novel itu di masa orde baru ada kebijakan negara terhadap para perempuan atau ibu/orang tua dengan programnya panca dharma sehingga memberikan pengaruh pada pembentukan identitas perempuan, selain itu pengaruh lingkungan dan kebijakan pada zaman orde baru memberi pengaruh kuat dalam pembentukan identitas perempuan

    The narrator of La Rénovation (1998), whose name and features refer explicitly to its author Dominique Rolin, is an elderly woman who attends, from her "window-armrest", the restoration of the building in which she lives. Meanwhile she writes a book, whose title is La Rénovation and which is the equivalent, in mise en abyme, of the novel that the reader is reading. That's not all. To be successful, the text must also go through a process of demolition and recovery, which affects two different areas: memory and scriptural activity. On the one hand, in order to write, the novelist must undergo the violence of her alter ego, Lady Memory, whom she is tempted to strangle, but who will eventually rejuvenate and soften her manners; on the other, writing must undergo a process of deconstruction and reconstruction, through a perpetual discussion (at the level of meaning) and a whole series of exclamations, interrogations, repetitions (at the formal level). The last pages of the novel celebrate the success of this triple enterprise: 1) the building abandons its scaffolding, actually renovated; 2) the work of memory is accomplished and it made possible 3) the realization of the book, La Rénovation.Le narrateur de La Rénovation (1998), dont le nom et les traits renvoient explicitement à son auteure Dominique Rolin, est une femme âgée qui assiste, de sa « fenêtre-accoudoir », à la restauration de l’immeuble dans lequel elle vit.     Forensik entomologi merupakan satu dari cabang ilmu entomologi dan ilmu forensik yang mempelajari serangga yang berhubungan dengan Post Mortem Interval (PMI). Metode yang lazim digunakan dalam membuat perkiraan PMI adalah interpretasi proses dekomposisi dan interpretasi aktivitas serangga. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi jenis lalat, menentukan kecepatan dekomposisi bangkai, mengukur jumlah dan waktu kedatangan lalat, juga faktorfaktor yang mempengaruhi aktivitas lalat di tiap-tiap lokasi pada waktu siang dan malam hari. Bangkai tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus) galur Sprague Dawley diletakkan pada waktu pagi hari (06.00 WIB) di empat lokasi yang berbeda yaitu sungai, hutan, luar ruangan, dan dalam ruangan. Semua lokasi tersebut berada di dekat pemukiman padat Dramaga, Bogor. Masing-masing lokasi ditempatkan tiga bangkai tikus. Bangkai tikus ditempatkan dalam perangkap berupa kandang persegi berukuran 60x60x60 cm3 dan berdinding kain kasa. Bagian bawah kandang berlubang, sehingga memungkinkan lalat masuk ke dalam kandang tapi tidak dapat keluar. Pengamatan tahapan dekomposisi bangkai dan penangkapan lalat yang memasuki perangkap dilakukan sampai pada tahap skeletal dari dekomposisi telah tercapai. Pengukuran suhu dan kelembapan lingkungan, suhu dan pH bangkai juga dilakukan dengan waktu dan frekuensi yang sama dengan koleksi lalat. Ragam jenis lalat yang ditemukan di semua lokasi adalah C. megacephala, C. bezziana, Chrysomya spp, Lucilia spp, C. rufifacies, C. saffranea, Sarcophaga spp, Calliphora spp, dan M. domestica. Persentase kehadiran lalat familia Calliphoridae berdasarkan jenis kelamin adalah 92.23% betina dan 7.77% jantan. Lalat Musca domestica dan Sarcophaga spp semuanya adalah betina. Semua jenis lalat tersebut ditemukan di keempat lokasi kecuali Calliphora spp dan M. domestica. Lalat Calliphora spp tidak ditemukan pada bangkai di sungai, sedangkan M. domestica hanya ditemukan di luar ruangan. Waktu dekomposisi bangkai di hutan adalah 92 jam, luar ruangan 100 jam, sungai 72 jam, dan di dalam ruangan 112 jam. Pada umumnya puncak aktivitas lalat-lalat tersebut tertangkap pada waktu sore hari. Semua jenis lalat yang tertangkap di semua lokasi didapatkan beraktivitas pada malam hari kecuali Challiphora spp di hutan dan C. saffranea di dalam ruangan. Lalat C. megacephala mendominasi bangkai di sungai dan hutan, sedangkan C. bezziana mendominasi di luar ruangan dan Lucilia spp dalam ruangan. Lalat C. megachephala dan C. bezziana ditemukan mendatangi bangkai di sungai pada tahap bloated sampai akhir tahap pengamatan dekomposisi. C. megacephala ditemukan pada bangkai di hutan dari tahap awal dekomposisi sampai skeletal stage, sedangkan C. bezziana hadir sampai tahap akhir postdecay. Lalat C. bezziana dan C. megacephala selalu tertangkap sejak fresh stage sampai skeletal stage pada bangkai di luar ruangan dan populasi lalat tersebut tinggi di akhir bloated stage sampai decay stage. Lucilia spp ditemukan mendatangi bangkai sejak fresh stage sampai postdecay stage dan Calliphora spp dari fresh stage sampai decay stage pada bangkai di dalam ruangan

    SUSI NUGRAHANL J 201 93 0920. Pengaruh Dogs Pemupukan KNO3 dan Waktu panen terhadap Kandungan Nikotin Tembakau Vorstenlanden (Thcotiana tabacurn). (Di bawah bimbingan KOEN PRASENO dan ENDAH DWI HAKIM) Nikotin adalah alkaloid utama dalam tanaman tembakau dan merupakan senyawa yang mengandung nitrogen , oleh karena itu tergantung Kara nitrogen tanaman Untuk tembakan Vorstenlanden pemakaian pupuk Kalium Nitrat (KNO3) sebagai cumber nitrogen sangat menguntunglcan . Nitrogen digunakan untuk menambah bias daun, untuk perkembangan akar, juga untuk mempertinggi sintesis alakaloid. KNO3 mempunyai kandungan N sebanyak 13,85 %. Akumulasi nikotin dipengarubi oleh waktu. Semakin lama waktu sampai baths tertentu maka akumulasi nikotin dalam daun akan sernakin meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pemupukan KNO3 dan waktu panen terhadap kandungan nikotin tembakau , untuk mengetahui adanya interaksi antara dosis pupuk dan waktu panen yang mempengarui nikotin tembakau dan untuk mengetahui interaksi terbaiknya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Ngawen, Kecamatan Ngawen , Kabupaten Klaten, di Laboratorium PIP Nusantara. X (Persero) Klaten,dan di Laboratorium Biokimia FMIPA UNDIP Semarang pada bulan September 1997 — Januari 1998. Penelitian ini menggunakan percobaan pola Faktorial 4x4 deugan Rmacang-an Acak Lengkap sebagai daqarnya. Faktor tersebut adalah dosis pupuk KNO3 yaitu Po (0 gram KNO3 tanaman), Pi (1 gram / talisman ), P6 (6 gram / tanaman ), dan P12 (12 gram I tanaman) dan faktor waktu panen yaitu T52 (waktu panen 52 hari), T55 (waktu panen 56 hari), T61(waktu panen 61 hari), dan T6,7 (waktu panen 67 hari). Perlakuannya merupakan kombinasi keduanya (ada 16 kombinasi perlakuan). Parameter yang diamati yaitu kandungan total nikotin tembakau.     According to Thurstone, attitude was a form of feeling’s evaluation or reaction (Azwar, 2013: 5). In the Children’s novel, a character in the story shows the various attitudes that can be learning to the readers. The problem of this research: How is the attitude of the main characters in the children’s novel "Freundschaftfürimmer und ewig?" By Tilde Michels. The purpose of this research is to describe the attitude of the main characters in the children’s novel "Freundschaftfürimmer und ewig?" By Tilde Michels. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. In order to describe the attitude of the main characters, firstly the researcher identifies the character of main characters by using Sayuti’s characterization method. After that, the researcher uses the theory of analytical psychology of Carl Gustav Jung to analyze this research. Data which is related to the main characters and shows the attitude of the main characters are classified by the researcher such as through dialogues between characters, statements of the other, and the author. And, the result of this research shows that the main characters are Susi and Esther who have not only the extraversion attitude, but also have an introversion attitude. Through dialogue between characters, Susi shows extraversion attitude such as attention and curiousity. And She also has introversion attitude which is not easily influenced. Furthermore, by the statement of the other, Susi has extraversion attitude, which is attention. Meanwhile, through the author, Susi shows the introversion attitude, which is not easily influenced. And she also has the extraversion attitude, which is curious. It is contrast with Susi, through the dialogue between characters, Esther shows extraversion attitude such as initiative, emotional, and easily influenced. Furthermore, through the statement of the other, Esther shows the attitude of introversion such as arrogant or haughty.     Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas ( Clasroom Action Research yang meliputi perencanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Tindakan dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas belajar fisika melalui penerapan pembelajaran investigasi kelompok yang dilaksanakana dalam dua siklus. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Halmahera Timur kelas VIII2. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan menilai kreativitas peserta didik. Hasil deskriptif dikelompokan ke dalam kategori sangat setuju, setuju, ragu-ragu, tidak setuju, sangat tidak setuju, dengan mengacu pada tabel ditribusi frekuensi. Pengambilan data penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar pengamatan aktivitas peserta didik. Hasil analisis kualitatif menunjukan terjadinya peningkatan kreativitas peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran fisika melalui penerapan model pembelajaran investigasi kelompok berlangsung. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh data bahwa aktivitas belajar, kreativitas belajar fisika peserta didik siklus I belum mengalami peningkatkan dengan nilai presentase 142,7% dan pada siklus II kreativitas peserta didik mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai presentase 160,9% . berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan pembelajaran investigasi kelompok dalam proses pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan kreativitas belajar fisika peserta didik kelas VIII  SMP Negeri 1 Halmahera Timur

    This research is a CAR research (classroom action research) which aims to determine whether there is an improvement in conceptual mastery and creative thinking skills of students at SMP Negeri 2 East Halmahera after applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. This research was carried out on students of class VII SMP, amounting to 29 students. Consisting of 14 males 15 females. From the results of this study, it was found that there was an increase in the mastery of concepts and creative thinking skills of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 East Halmahera. Where the data is described as follows: Student pre-action scores of 24 students, 4 of them have adequate categories and 20 are not good. However, after taking the action in cycle I, the number of individual completeness was only obtained by 1 student or 4.17%, only 45.83% or 11 people, while the number of students who were still incomplete/not good was 50% or 12 people. While in cycle II, the number of students who have not completed/reduce improved in learning is experiencing a decrease from i12 people or 50%, to 2 people or i8.33%. Meanwhile, the students who have already achieved score i with the complete i category in learning i increased to 2 people who have i very good or 8.33%, i10 people are good or i41.67%, while the i participants are educated i with the category i is good enough or i41.67% . This result synergizes with teacher activity and student activity so that it can be concluded that the application of problem-based learning model learning (PBL) can improve conceptual mastery and creative thinking for seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Halmahera Timur on sound material
