    STRENGTHENING MORAL EDUCATION TO REDUCE BULLYING AMONG STUDENS

    This research stems from deep concerns. That, every day the bad news continues to increase regarding bullying behavior which causes many victims among students. This research aims to analyze the causes of bullying among students and provide options for how to overcome it. The method used is a qualitative approach based on literature study. The analysis was carried out descriptively. From research, it was found that students tend to bully because their personalities are still unstable. The research concluded that there is a general tendency for the average student to imitate easily and therefore needs to strengthen morals or character. The results of the research can make a positive contribution to efforts to achieve one of the educational goals as stated in Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education Syste

    Abstract The formation of religious moderation through strengthening attitudes of tolerance between religious communities is an important step in creating social harmony in a very heterogeneous society.Religious moderation, which prioritizes a wise attitude and a middle path in religion, is one of the main pillars in maintaining peace and unity.In the context of Indonesia which consists of various tribes, religions, and cultures, an attitude of tolerance between religious communities has a crucial role in reducing the potential for conflict and radicalization.Therefore, this study intends to map the values ​​of tolerance that are implemented in living together in diversity through dialogue, exemplary behavior, regulations or local policies that are very inclusive.Understanding the importance of an attitude of religious moderation can lead someone to an attitude of mutual tolerance and respect.Increasing understanding of the importance of religious moderation can distance one from attitudes of extremism.The results of this study indicate that strengthening religious moderation can be realized through an exemplary and togetherness approach, mutual tolerance in the framework of living together in diversity. Moderasi beragama, yang mengutamakan sikap yang bijak dan jalan tengah dalam beragama, menjadi salah satu pilar utama dalam menjaga kedamaian dan persatuan. Dalam konteks Indonesia yang terdiri dari berbagai suku, agama, dan budaya, sikap toleransi antar umat beragama memiliki peran krusial dalam mengurangi potensi konflik dan radikalisasi. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bermaksud untuk memetakan nilai-nilai toleransi yang diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan bersama dalam keragaman melalui dialog, keteladanan, regulasi ataupun kebijakan lokal yang sangat inklusif. Pemhaman akan pentingnya sikap moderasi beragama dapat mengantarkan seseorang pada sikap saling toleran, menghargai. Peningkatan pemahaman tentang pentingnya moderasi beragama, dapat menjauhkan dari sikap-sikap ekstrimisme. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penguatan moderasi beragama dapat diwujudkan melalui pendekatan keteladanan dan kebersamaan, saling toleran dalam bingkai hidup bersama dalam keberagaman.     Dakwah Konstitusional Muhammadiyah: Antara Ideologi Islam Berkemajuan dan Komitmen Kebangsaan di Era Post Truth

    As an Islamic movement, Muhammadiyah not only focuses on religious aspects, but also plays an active role in political and legal developments in Indonesia. This role is manifested in constitutional da'wah. This article aims to examine Muhammadiyah's constitutional da'wah strategy in responding to challenges in the post-truth era. In addition, this article also explains Muhammadiyah's efforts in maintaining a balance between Islamic values and the spirit of nationalism. This research is qualitative-descriptive with a library research approach by examining various relevant primary and secondary sources. Some of these sources include official documents of Muhammadiyah, decisions of the Constitutional Court, books, scientific journals, and credible online media. The results of this study show that 1) Muhammadiyah has shown its role in constitutional da'wah on the dynamics of law in Indonesia; 2) Muhammadiyah coordinates the Progressive Islamic Ideology and National Commitment in service to the Nation; and 3) Muhammadiyah faces the challenges of the post-truth era by prioritizing the main strategy of constitutional da'wah through strengthening literacy, continuous education, community empowerment, and optimization of social media in strengthening public opinion based on objective facts. The academic implication of this research is the formation of a conceptual framework for the constitutional da'wah approach in an effort to strengthen ideology and strengthen national commitment in the post-truth era

    This study aims to examine the implementation of Building Learning Power (BLP) as an effort to strengthen Qur'anic character in the digital era at Muhammadiyah educational institutions. This strategy is a very relevant approach to the development of education based on Islamic (religious) values. Building Learning Power (BLP) is a learning strategy concept introduced by Guy Claxton, focusing on the development of in-depth learning skills, including resilience/perseverance, critical thinking skills, creativity, and the ability to work together. This study uses a qualitative approach with case studies at Muhammadiyah educational institutions in Sidoarjo. Research data were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research findings show that the application of the Building Learning Power (BLP) concept can improve the quality of Qur'anic character amidst the flow of digital era disruption that continues to develop massively. The emphasis on values ​​such as resilience, perseverance, honesty, independence, critical thinking and cooperation are forms of implementation of the values ​​of piety that are highly emphasized in the Qur'an. This research is expected to be able to contribute to the development of character-based education curriculum based on the principles of Islamic teachings in the digital era.     Pendidikan Islam Pada Masa Dinasti Saljuk: Madrasah Nizamiyah

    The birth of madrasah as an educational institution in this era can not be separated from the history of the development of madrasah in the past. Before Muslims knew madrasah educational institutions, Muslim educational institutions were still known by the terms suffah, kuttab or maktab and mosque. So that from these educational institutions were born various expert scholars from various fields both in the field of religion and other fields of science. Around the end of the 4th century AH the Saljuk Dynasty was led by Sultan Alp and Malik Syah who had a very famous vizier named Nizam al-Mulk succeeded in establishing the first madrasah educational institution called Madrasah Nizamiyah. Madrasah Nizamiyah is the first Islamic educational institution in the form of a school under the auspices of the government, so that the government has a major stake in its development process. In this discussion, the author focuses on deepening the concept of Madrasah Nizamiyah education under the auspices of the Saljuk Dynasty, as well as the concept of education which is widely referred to in the development of Islamic education in the future.  Lahirnya madrasah sebagai lembaga pendidikan pada era ini tidak bisa lepas dari sejarah berkembangnya madrasah pada masa lampau. Sebelum umat Islam mengenal lembaga pendidikan madrasah, lembaga pendidikan umat Islam masih dikenal dengan istilah suffah, kuttab atau maktab serta masjid. Sehingga dari lembaga pendidikan tersebut lahirlah berbagai ulama-ulama ahli dari berbagai macam bidang baik dalam bidang keagamaan maupun bidang ilmu lainnya. Pada sekitar akhir abad ke-4  hijriah Dinasti Saljuk dipimpin oleh Sultan Alp dan Malik Syah yang memiliki wazir yang sangat masyhur yang bernama Nizam al-Mulk berhasil mendirikan institusi pendidikan madrasah pertama yang bernama Madrasah Nizamiyah. Madrasah Nizamiyah meruakan institusi pendidikan Islam pertama yang berbentuk sekolah dibawah naungan pemerintahan, sehingga pemerintah memiliki andil besar dalam proses perkembangannya. Dalam pembahasan ini penulis fokus mendalami konsep pendidikan Madrasah Nizamiyah dibawah naungan pemerintahan Dinasti Saljuk, serta konsep pendidikannya yang banyak dirujuk dalam perkembangan pendidikan Islam pada masa berikutnya.

    Many educators use the lecture method, which is less suitable for education in this modern era, causing students to tend to get bored, sleepy, and ultimately reluctant to pay attention. The aim of this study is to improve students' understanding by utilizing audiovisual media periodically and to improve the learning system to make it better than before. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research, which plays an important role in enhancing the quality of learning. The results of this study show that audiovisual media in Islamic Religious Education learning in class X at SMA Islam Sumberasih Probolinggo significantly improved students' learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle stage, the lecture method resulted in a low level of mastery, with few students achieving the required score. After the application of audiovisual media through two cycles, the level of mastery sharply increased, especially in Cycle II. The number of students in the "Very Good" category also increased.

    PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER RELIGIUS SISWA MELALUI PROGAM BACA TULIS AL-QUR’AN (BTQ) DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS SURYA BUANA MALANG

    Menipisnya karakter religius memberikan dampak negatif kepada siswa, pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik melalui progam BTQ merupakan faktor pendukung dan penghambat untuk membentuk karakter religius. Progam BTQ dan pencapaian karakter religius siswa yang dibentuk melalui progam BTQ. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif jenis fenomenologis. Data penelitian didapatkan dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Setelah itu, peneliti menganalisis data dengan mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik dilakukan dengan mengklasifikasikan kelas BTQ dan diterapkannya beberapa progam yang menyertai progam BTQ. 2) Faktor pendukung progam BTQ, yakni adanya pendidik yang mendampinggi peserta didik, motivasi peserta didik, serta visi dan misi sekolah. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya, yakni pendidik yang terlambat dan izin datang ke sekolah, kurangnya motivasi peserta didik serta berkurangnya jam pelajaran umum. 3) Pencapaian karakter religius peserta didik yang dibentuk melalui progam BTQ, yakni membaca dan murojaah al-Qur’an setelah salat, datang ke sekolah dengan tepat waktu, berperilaku sopan santun serta patuh kepada orang tua dan pendidik. Implikasi dari kegiatan penelitian ini adalah para prakstisi pendidikan, guru, orang tua dan para pengelola pendidikan dapat mengetahui dengan pasti bahwa karakter religious dapat diciptakan dan dibentuk melalui program baca tulis al-Qur’an.The depletion of religious character which has a negative impact on students. Religious character through the BTQ program are support and inhibiting factors for forming students\u27 religious character through the BTQ program and the achievement of students\u27 religious character formed through the BTQ program. The metodologi use a qualitative fenomenologis. Research data was obtained by observations, interviews and documentation. After that, the researcher analyzed the data by reducing the data, presenting the data and drawing conclusions. This research shows the following results: 1) the formation of students\u27 religious character is carried out by classifying BTQ classes and implementing several programs that accompany the BTQ program. 2) Supporting factors for the BTQ program, namely the presence of educators who accompany students, student motivation, and the school\u27s vision and mission. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are teachers who are late and allowed to come to school, lack of student motivation and reduced general lesson hours. 3) Achievement of students\u27 religious character which is formed through the BTQ program, namely reading and murojaah al-Qur\u27an after prayer, coming to school on time, behaving politely and being obedient to parents and educators. The implication of this research activity is that educational practitioners, teachers, parents and educational managers can know for sure that religious character can be created and formed through the al-Qur\u27an reading and writing program

    Implementing One Stop Schooling System Program in Reaching Graduate Standards of Santri at Salaf Islamic Boarding Schools

    The study aims to describe the application of the one-stop schooling system in achieving standards for graduating students in the Islamic Boarding School Al-Ma'had Setu Bekasi. The study uses field research with a qualitative descriptive research design, while data is collected by using interviews, observation, and document collection related to the research focus. Interview techniques are used to collect data from several sources, including the school's founders, management, and students. The analysis flow follows an interactive analysis model, with the process of analysis made through 4 stages data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and deduction. The findings suggest that the Pondok Pesantren Salaf Al-Ma'had Setu Bekasi uses the One Stop Schooling System to achieve the standard characters for graduating students; ten standards have been designed. Pondok Pesantren Salaf Al-Ma'had Setu Bekasi belongs to the traditional Islamic boarding school but uses modern teaching systems and methods. In the application of the One Stop Schooling System, a teaching and educational method becomes the primary facility for achieving the character standards for graduating students. In the program, there is also an organization that serves as a support facility to help students develop their insights, knowledge, talents, and skills
