This study aims to examine the theoretical study of ethics in financial accounting practice. The data used in this study is qualitative data about ethical violations in financial accounting practices that occurred at PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera Food Tbk. From this data, a theoretical study was carried out with qualitative research methods for the theory applied or not by the entity. The results of this study indicate that PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera Food Tbk committed ethical violations in the practice of financial accounting in the presentation of its financial statements.

GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN IBU NIFAS TENTANG PERAWATAN PAYUDARA PADA MASA NIFAS DI BPS YUNI HERMANTO BANGKALAN MADURA
Full text linkPerawatan payudara pada masa nifas merupakan komponen utama sebagai dasar keberhasilan menyusui. Dari 35 responden hampir setengahnya 14 orang (40%) masih melakukan perawatan payudara dengan cara yang salah. Adapun salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi perawatan payudara, yaitu pengetahuan ibu nifas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan ibu nifas tentang perawatan payudara pada masa nifas di BPS Yuni Hermanto Bangkalan Madura.
Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Populasi yang dipakai adalah semua ibu nifas hari ke 1-7 di BPS Yuni Hermanto Bangkalan Madura sebesar 38 orang, dengan sampel sebesar 35 responden, diambil dengan menggunakan non probability sampling dengan tekhnik purposive sampling. Variabel penelitian adalah tingkat pengetahuan ibu nifas tentang perawatan payudara pada masa nifas. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan disajikan dalam bentuk persentase dan tabel.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 35 responden sebagian besar (57,1%) responden berpengetahuan kurang, hampir setengahnya (28,6) berpengetahuan baik, dan sebagian kecil (14,3%) berpengetahuan cukup.
Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar ibu nifas di BPS Yuni Hermanto Bangkalan Madura mempunyai tingkat pengetahuan yang kurang tentang perawatan payudara pada masa nifas. Untuk itu diharapkan bidan sebagai pelaksana dalam bidang kesehatan dapat memberikan penyuluhan tentang perawatan payudara pada masa nifas yang baik dan benar di BPS Yuni Hermanto Bangkalan Madura yang dimulai sejak kehamilan trimester III
Education Supervision and The Challenges Faced by Supervisors in Implementing Their Responsibilities in Tanzania
Full text linkEducation supervision is the process of professional development of the teacher, primarily by giving the teacher feedback about classroom interactions and helping the teacher make sure the feedback is used to improve the teacher's behavior to make teaching and learning more effective. Quality education results from effective and efficient supervision of education whereby a supervisor creates a conducive environment for teachers to perform their responsibilities. The paper intends to explore the role and challenges facing education supervisors in doing their responsibilities in Tanzania. To achieve this, the researchers did a mini-review. The paper searched the internet for relevant and timely research papers and articles mainly focusing on supervision in secondary schools. Once a sufficient number of materials for the mini-review had been gathered, the laborious process of assessing and analyzing the concepts and contexts within each piece commenced. The study finds that the quality of education depends on the presence of a competent and committed school headmaster in supervising the critical effectiveness of the school, while challenges facing education supervisors are categorized into two categories: Problems in instruction supervision and administrative supervision. In solving these problems, education supervision has to be put into consideration by the government as it plays a vital role in improving educational performance
A study on code switching done by Mr. Hermanto as a shopkeeper of U.D. Rosaria
Full text linkThis study examines the examines the existency of code switching done by Mr. Hermanto as the shopkeeper of U.D. Rosaria in Surabaya. The writer examines the language switch by Mr. Hermanto and the reasons why he switches his code. The background of making this study are because the writer saw that Mr. Hermanto (as a shopkeeper) often meet many kinds of person. That is why, the writer would like to analyse his language switch further.
Using a hidden tape-recorder, the writer recorded the four conversation in natural interaction setting. Then the writer transcribed the conversations and made some different style of printing to differentiate the languages. She analysis the data based on the parameters which consist of participants, topic, setting and function.
Based on the data analysis, the writer found that the switching that mostly happened was from Formal Indonesian into Javanese and Javanese into Formal Indonesian; then Informal Indonesian into Indonesian and Indonesian into informal Indonesian; next was Chinese into Formal Indonesian and Javanese into Chinese; the last was Formal Indonesian into Chinese, Javanese into Informal Indonesian, Informal Indonesian into Javanese, Informal Indonesian into Chinese and Chinese into Javanese. The switching into Indonesian was the higher, then the following was the switching into Javanese, next was the switching into Informal Indonesian, and the last was the switching into Chinese. The other findings showed that participants, topic, setting and function were the factors that influenced Mr. Hermanto to switch codes. For examples: different participants leads Mr. Hermanto to switch to different codes; the changing of topic such as when he talks about numbers to the Chinese person, he mostly switches into Chinese; informal situation also makes him often does switch into Javanese; and the last is for some reasons (such as raising intimacy, persuading interlocutor, uttering a special term of calling someone, showing seriousness, emphasizing the previous word showing respect, keeping a secret, showing an ethnic identity, habit, and lack of vocabulary), he switches his code.
Since this study is limited in term of the number of the subject and the place where this study was conducted, it is far for being perfect. That is why, the writer would like to suggest that the next research about Code Switching can make an observation about code switching that happens in the island like Bali, where there are so many people who come from various countries
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
