    Karya sastra Indonesia warna lokal Minangkabau telah menegaskan pentingnya sosok perempuan. Tokoh perempuan dihadirkan dalam berbagai profil. Harga diri perempuan Minangkabau dalam sastra lokal Minangkabau nampak begitu kuat sesuai dengan fungsinya di dalam realita. Masalah pokok penelitian ini adalah harga diri perempuan Minangkabau, yang terdapat dalam novel Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah karya Hamka. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan harga diri perempuan Minangkabau dalam novel Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah karya Hamka. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan harga diri perempuan Minangkabau dapat dilihat dari perbuatan dan perilaku tokoh yang berupa ucapan, dan peristiwa yang dilakukan oleh tokoh-tokoh perempuan dalam novel Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah karya Hamka. Harga diri perempuan Minangkabau secara individu yang diperankan oleh tokoh yaitu dari perilaku yang ditampilkan oleh tokoh Zainab, Rosna, Mak Asiah, dan ibu Hamid sosok perempuan Minangkabau yang dipandang mulia dari kehidupan bermasyarakat yang bisa menjaga nama baik (martabatnya) sebagai perempuan Minangkabau. Sedangkan harga diri perempuan sebagai anggota masyarakat yang diperan oleh tokoh dalam novel Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah karya Hamka yaitu perempuan Minangkabau yang memiliki sifat kepemimpinan yang dapat ditiru oleh masyarakat. Sebagai perempuan Minangkabau yang memegang fungsi penting dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Seorang bundo kanduang menurut adat Minangkabau merupakan tempat meniru dan diteladani oleh lingkungan dan keluarganya

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bahasa Anak Baru (ABG) pada remaja cerpendi berbagai majalah edisi 10-23 Mei 2013. Penelitian yang menggunakan pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik analisis isi (content analysis), yang melakukan analisis isi pada remaja cerpen di berbagai majalah. Sehingga ditemukan dalam penggunaan kosa kata ketidakbakuan, keragaman bahasa, dan struktur kalimat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahasa remaja cenderung memilih kosa kata non-standar, bahasa keragaman  kasual, struktur kalimat singkat, lincah dan kreatif dan tungal dan elips. Mudah-mudahan dengan penelitian ini, bahasa ABG di cerpen remaja di berbagai majalah 10-23 Mai 2013 edisi dapat membuat tambahan pengetahuan bagi penulis cerita pendek sehingga orang lain dapat menghasilkan tulisan-tulisan dalam pekerjaan yang baik dan kualitas, terlepas dari cara penulisan sebenarny

    Abstract: This research is motivated by the limitations of students in writing and developing short stories and less media to support students in the learning process of short story writing. The purpose of this study is to describe the ability to write text short stories of students kelsi VII SMP Islam Khaira Ummah Padang assisted media images glow. This type of research is classified as quantitative research using descriptive method. The population of the study were the seventh grade students of Islamic Junior High School Khaira Ummah Padangyang registered in 2015/2016 academic year, as many as 135 people spread in 5 classes. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The number of samples of this study as many as 22 students are students of class VIIB. The data of this research is the result of writing test of short story text of VII students of SMP Islam Khaira Ummah Padang. Based on the results of the study of the ability to write short story text students of the seventh grade of Islamic Junior High School Khaira Ummah Padang with the help of a series of images for the whole with the average of 83.71 counts are good in the range of 76-85%. Keywords: short story text, images beamedAbstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan siswa dalam menulis dan mengembangkan cerita pendek dan kurangya media untuk mendukung siswa dalam proses pembelajaran menulis cerita pendek. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis teks cerita pendek siswa kelsa VII SMP Islam Khaira Ummah Padangberbantuan media gambar berseri.Jenis penelitian ini tergolong penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif.Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Islam Khaira Ummah Padangyang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2015/2016, sebanyak 135 orang yang tersebar dalam 5 kelas.Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling.Jumlah sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 22 orang siswa yaitu siswa kelas VIIB. Data penelitian ini berupa hasil tes menulis teks cerita pendek siswa kelas VII SMP  Islam Khaira Ummah Padang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kemampuan menulis teks cerita pendek siswa kelas VII SMP Islam Khaira Ummah Padangberbantuan media gambar berseri untuk keseluruhan dengan rata-rata hitung 83,71 tergolong baik berada pada rentangan 76-85%. Kata kunci:teks cerita pendek, gambar berseri

Skripsi: English Department of Teacher Training and Education Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatera 2017. This research showed that the biography of the author indirectly attached and gave an overview of the actual content of the novel. The relationship between Ahmad Tohari as a author with his work entitled Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk was a major topic of discussion. The objectives of this research were to find out the theme of the novel and relationship between Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk novel with Ahmad Tohari’s biography. Descriptive qualitative method was carried out to analyze the data. The source of the data was taken from the novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk by Ahmad Tohari. In collecting the data, some references related to biographical critism were applied. The data were analyzed by reading the novel, underlining statement of Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk novel that related to Ahmad Tohari’s biography, analyzing and describing the relationship between Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk novel with Ahmad Tohari’s biography. It was concluded that the theme was the complexity of ronggeng dancer’s life, they included social, human trafficking, character assassination and politic theme and there was the relationship between the biography of Ahmad Tohari to the content of the Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk novel

    The research is motivated by the following cases. First, students vocabulary deficiencies in writing so have difficulty in presenting ideas into a text. Second, the students do not understand about exposition text. Third, students difficult to differentiate exposition text with other text. Fourth, students difficult to develop ideas in writing, so that the resulting of their text is not in accordance with the idea that their think. Fifth, students difficult to write cohesion and coherence paragraphs. This type of this research is quantitative with correlation method. The population in this research is students of class X SMA Negeri 1 2x11 Enam Lingkung Padang Pariaman District with 281 students. In this research, the sampling technique is proportional random sampling with 27 students. In this research, there are two variables, are independent variable and the dependent variable. The independent variables are vocabulary mastery (X) and the dependent variable is the exposition text writing skills (Y). Conclusions of this research are as follows. First, vocabulary mastery of class X SMA Negeri 1 2x11 Enam Lingkung Padang Pariaman District with an average value of 73,17 which are in the category Lebih dari Cukup. Second, the writing skills exposition text of class X SMA Negeri 1 2x11 Enam Lingkung Padang Pariaman District with an average value of 70,98 which are in the category Lebih dari Cukup. Third, there is a relationship between the vocabulary mastery with writing skill exposition text of class X SMA Negeri 1 2x11 Enam Lingkung Padang Pariaman District because tcount>ttable.     This study aimed to describe the style of language on the terrace of news about Covid-19 as seen from the terrace / stylistic lead's writing style. A good news writer tries hard not to want to be too mechanistic. Rigid lead writing will feel tedious and unattractive. News that gives the possibility to treat as a feature are beautified, enlivened, even made like creative writings so that they are attractive to the audience. The approach used was descriptive qualitative. This research's data was the core/intro/lead of Covid-19 news that contains a stylistic style. Data obtained from the CNN Indonesia YouTube social media channel was present around the time of the research, namely starting from March to October. The data collection method used was the observation method with record and note techniques. Data were selected, classified, identified, and then described based on the stylistic lead theory. Nine stylistic terraces obtained from thirteen kinds of stylistic core used in disclosing Covid-19 news leads as the results of the study, namely: (1) punching leads, (2) descriptive leads, (3) contrast leads, (4) questioning leads, (5) quote leads, (6) cumulative curiosity leads, (7) sequential leads, (8) parody leads, and (9) greeting leads

    PERBANDINGAN PENGGUNAAN MODEL GI DENGAN NHT TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MENGIDENTIFIKASI TEKS CERITA FANTASI

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa faktor, yaitu faktor dari siswa dan faktor dari guru. Pertama, faktor dari siswa, hal ini dapat dilihat dari kurangnya minat siswa dalam pembelajaran mengidentifikasi teks cerita fantasi. Siswa pada dasarnya kurang memahami dan kesulitan dalam mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur teks cerita fantasi. Kedua, faktor dari guru, guru jarang menggunakan model dan teknik dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga siswa kesulitan dalam mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur teks cerita fantasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perbandingan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) Dengan Numbered Head Together (NHT) Terhadap Keterampilan Mengidentifikasi Teks Cerita Fantasi Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 29 Solok Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Desain penelitian ini adalah randomized control-group posttes only design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 29 Solok Selatan yang berjumlah 44 orang yang terdaftar pada tahun 2020/2021. Sampel penelitian ini kelas VII1 (Eksperimen 1) dan kelas VII2 (Eksperimen 2). Data penelitian ini adalah skor hasil tes keterampilan mengidentifikasi teks cerita fantasi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) dan skor hasil tes keterampilan mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur teks cerita fantasi dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan hal sebagai berikut: Pertama, keterampilan mengidentifikasi teks cerita fantasi siswa kelas VII1 SMP Negeri 29 Solok Selatan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) memperoleh nilai rata-rata 70,29 dengan tingkat penguasaan 66-75% yaitu berada pada kualifikasi Lebih dari Cukup. Kedua, keterampilan mengidentifikasi teks cerita fantasi siswa kelas VII2 SMP Negeri 29 Solok Selatan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) memperoleh nilai rata-rata78,08 dengan tingkat penguasaan 76-85% yaitu berada pada kualifikasi Baik. Ketiga, terdapat perbandingan yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) dengan Numbered head Together (NHT) terhadap keterampilan mengidentifikasi teks cerita fantasi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 29 Solok Selatan karena thitung>ttabel (2,52>1,68)

    This study aims to determine the ability to write exposition texts of class VIII students of SMPN 4 Painan before the implementation of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model. To determine the ability to write exposition texts of class VIII students of SMPN 4 Painan after the implementation of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model. To analyze the effect of using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model on the ability to write exposition texts of class VIII students of SMPN 4 Painan. This type of research is quantitative research using experimental methods. The design of this study is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of this study was all class VIII students of SMPN 4 Painan. The sample in this study was class VIII.1, totaling 20 people. The data in this study were scores on the ability to write exposition texts of class VIII students of SMPN 4 Painan after the implementation of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model. The results of this study can be concluded that the learning outcomes of the ability to write expository texts of grade VIII students of SMPN 4 Painan using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model, or a probability below α 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), from these results it can be seen that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.   Keywords: Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC), Writing Ability, Expository Tex
