The low critical thinking skills of Indonesian students in the 21st century indicate the necessity of training these skills to prepare for a future replete with challenges. Teachers need to innovate learning materials that foster critical thinking skills. This study aims to develop a PBL-based GLOWASEA Edukit media product that is valid, effective, and practical for enhancing students’ critical thinking skills. This developmental research was conducted following the ADDIE model, which comprises five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Qualitative data were obtained through comments and suggestions for improvement in questionnaires and interviews. Quantitative data were obtained from the scores on the validation test, practicality test, questions’ validity and reliability test, and pretest and post-test score data. Data were analyzed using percentage analysis and qualitative description. Successively, the results of media and material validation and practicality were 82.61%, 91.17%, and 90.62%. The effectiveness of Edukit media is calculated using the N-Gain formula, resulting in an average score of 0.33, which meets moderate criteria. It can be concluded that the GLOWASEA Edukit media produced is valid, effective, and practical for training students’ critical thinking skills

This study aimed to develop PjBL-STEAM-based aquascape biogechemical cycle edukit on ecosystem material that are valid, practical, and effective to practice creative thinking skills. This development research used the ADDIE model including: 1) analyze; 2) design; 3) develop; 4) implement; 5) evaluate. Quantitative data was obtained from the value given by the validator, the results of the practicality tests of teachers and students, as well as the results of effectiveness through pretest and posttest questions. Meanwhile, qualitative data was obtained from teacher interview, comments, and suggestions provided by the validator and the teacher on each indicator in the instrument. Data collection techniques was conducted through interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis was carried out using percentage analysis and qualitative descriptive. The results of the material validation were 98% while the media validation were 94.25%. The results of the teacher\u27s practicality test were 100% while students were 89%. The results of pretest and posttest showed a difference. The mean results of the N-Gain score for each indicator were categorized as medium with the highest increase results, namely the elaboration indicator and the lowest increase in the flexibility indicator. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the PjBL-STEAM-based aquascape biogeochemical cycle education is very valid, practical, and effective to be use in 7th graders in ecosystem material to train the creative thinking skills

The aim of this study is to develop a valid and practical science learning media that integrated with mobile application (EduKIT). This EduKIT provide activities so students can have experiences to string and think solution about any problems integrated by technology as demanded of Education in 21st century. This research using ADDIE model which is only limited to the development stage. At each stage, an evaluation process is carried out to produce the maximum product. To measure the validity and feasibility of the media, an instrument in the form of a questionnaire was used. Quantitative data is obtained from the score given by the validator against each criterion and indicator on the validation sheet. While the qualitative data is obtained from the advice given by the validator. The result shows that the EduKIT was highly valid to use with the percentage 98% and 99% for validation media and content validity respectively. This assessment was tested on two science education experts. While the result for the readability test by five teachers was 96% and 91% from ten junior students. Those percentage (>90%) show very practical and highly valid to be used. Based on the results of the validation and readibility test, it can be concluded that EduKIT was valid and practical, so it is suitable for students to use as a learning medium to practice problem solving skills in preparing the 21st century generation

Learning objectives can be achieved if students are diligent in learning activities. Student activeness can be assessed through their involvement in study groups, responsibility, and how they express their opinions. Therefore, problem-based learning materials are necessary to train students' thinking skills and to ensure they are active in learning activities. The aim of this research is to develop a student worksheet product based on problem-based learning on the human circulatory system material, to test the product's validity, and to assess the product's practicality. The mechanism used in this research is Research and Development (R&D). Data collection involved respondents from 8th-grade students (n = 130) and science subject teachers (n = 6) for practitioner validation and readability tests. The scope of this research is limited to the feasibility assessment of the Problem-Based Learning student worksheet by material experts, media experts, practitioners, and student readability tests. The teaching materials developed by the researchers include factual problems in daily activities, making them easy for students to understand and supported by videos and articles to comprehend the material. Data analysis shows that (1) the assessment criteria by material experts indicate a valid category with an average of 80.83%; (2) it is considered very valid as evidenced by an average of 90% for media expert assessments; (3) student responses to the worksheet are very good with an average of 95.37%; (4) based on practitioner expert tests, it is stated to be very valid with an average of 94.7%

Critical thinking skills (CTS) are essential preparations for addressing challenges in the 21st century era. The use of traditional lecture learning models and less innovative media leads to student passivity and negatively impacts critical thinking levels. This study aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective educational Kit based on problem based learning (PBL) on conservation to enhance CTS. The research model employed is analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. Data collection techniques included literature surveys, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Qualitative data were acquired from interviews, comments form validators, as well as practical comments and suggestions from teachers and students. These were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Additionally, quantitative data from content and media expert testing results, practicality assessments by teachers and students, as well as pretest and posttest scores, were analyzed using SPSS and percentage analysis techniques. The media validation yielded a result of 93.54%, and material validation achieved 94.78%, both falling within the very valid category. In the practical aspect involving teachers and students, the results reached 93.76%, demonstrating a high level of practicality in the applied learning criteria. The pretest and posttest results of the students revealed a discernible difference. The N-gain test, gauging the difference between the two, indicated a moderate improvement. The highest increase was observed in the inference indicator with a score of 0.67, while the self-regulation indicator showed the lowest improvement at 0.34. In conclusion, the educational Kit based on PBL was found to be valid, practical, and effective in enhancing CT
