No full textAbstrakTulisan ini berangkat dari permasalahan kewahyuan nabi Muhammad yang mendapat pandangan beraneka ragam dari kalangan orientalis dalam menyikapi kewahyuan nabi Muhammmad. Sikap para orientalis baik yang pro dan kontra masih menjadi polemik yang sampai saat ini tidak selesai titik permasalahannya. Oleh karenanya, dari kalangan yang menerima kewahyuan Muhammad beranggapan bahwa wahyu yang diterima oleh nabi Muhammad adalah wahyu yang benar-benar datang dari ajaran Tuhan bukan dari hasil karangan nabi Muhammad dan ajarannya bersumber dari Tuhan yang satu. Sedangkan mereka yang memberikan komentar sinis mengenai wahyu yang diberikan kepada Muhammad adalah hasil karangan Muhammad sendiri, sehingga memunculkan banyak polemik khususnya dari kalangan umat Islam sendiri yang sampai saat ini belum dapat diselesaikan dan menjadi perdebatan. Tulisan ini berusaha membuktikan bahwa dengan pendekatan Ilmu sosial dan Ilmu humaniora akan ditemukan suatu fakta bahwa kewahyuan nabi Muhammad dalam pandangan orientalis harus sesuai dengan dari sebuah peristiwa dengan penuh objektif.                                                          Kata Kunci : Wahyu, Orientalis, Muhammad, Islam

No full textDi zaman era modern ini banyak sekali kaum anak muda terutama di kalangan santri, pemuda hijrah yang sering mengunjungi tempat wisata ziarah salah satunya di Gunung Santri makam Syekh Muhammad Sholeh yang sudah dikenal oleh banyak orang karena pada saat ini Gunung Santri makam Syekh Muhammad Sholeh dijadikan sebagai objek wisata religi atau disebut juga dengan wisat ziarah. Maka dengan adanya wisata ziarah ini dapat menjadi suatu hal yang bersifat positif baik dari pandangan peziarah ataupun pandangan mayarakat sekitar. Setiap peziarah pasti memiliki motivasi dalam melakukan wisata ziarah di Gunung Santri makam Syekh Muhammad Sholeh, serta mempunyai pengalaman keagamaan tersendiri pasca berwisata ziarah ke Gunung Santri makam Syekh Muhammad Sholeh.
Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai pandangan peziarah dan masyarakat terhadap keberadaan makam Syekh Muhammad Sholeh, motivasi peziarah yang berwisata ziarah serta pengalaman keagamaan peziarah setelah berwisata ziarah ke Gunung Santri makam Syekh Muhammad Sholeh.
Landasan pemikiran dalam penelitian ini menggunaka teori makna dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan Psikologis yang dikemukakan oleh Clifford Geertz, yang selanjutnya dikaitkan dengan teori Joachim Wach mengenai tentang pengalamaan keberagamaan sebagai upaya untuk menelusursi pengalaman seseorang atau peziarah.
Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui penafsiran logika yang dihubungkan dengan apa yang kita lihat, apa yang kita dengar, dan apa yang kita ketahui mengenai tentang wisata ziarah makam Syekh Muhammad Sholeh.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dari pandangan peziarah yang mengatakan bahwa makam Syekh Muhammad Sholeh ini adalah sebuah makam yang dikeramatkan karena beliau merupakan orang yang saleh juga disebut sebagai wali dan makam ini terkenal dengan batu nisannya sebagai simbol atau ciri khas yang tidak dimiliki oleh makam-makam lainya. Dengan adanya makam tersebut memberi dampak positif bagi masyarakat sekitar mengenai perekonomian. Para peziarah juga memiliki motivasi, tujuan serta pengalaman yang berbeda-beda antara peziarah satu dengan peziarah lainnya

No full textThe practice of Sufism in today\u27s society and what the prophet Muhammad did is often conceptual and practical differences. Sufism, which is the sum-sum of Islam, is often the target of attacks on the wrong practices of Sufism that occur today or for ignorance of good and true Sufism. This article tries to describe the life of Sufism, practice, and the spiritual condition of the Prophet Muhammad. In the scientific field and religious side, this will be traced in terms of Sufism practices carried out by the prophet Muhammad found in the hadiths and books. This journal was analyzed using qualitative methods of literature study. Related primary and secondary sources will be categorized which will be presented in the form of research results. Various sources that the author can reveal that the life of the prophet Muhammad was filled with Sufistic instruments, and a lifestyle like this is an ideal lifestyle. It can be concluded that this pattern of life is at the same time a treasure and \u27ibrah for the Sufi life, so it can be said that the Messenger of Allah has laid the spiritual foundations for his followers throughout the ages

No full textThe book of “Muhammad: His Life Based on Earliest Sources†was written by Martin Lings, who after converting to Islam got the name Abu Bakar Sirajuddin. Since it was first published in 1983, this book has received many awards and has been translated into 10 languages. This book discusses the biography of the Prophet Muhammad and uses classical sources that are so authoritative from the 2nd century D / 8 M and 3 D / 9 M. This research aims to find out the life history and work of Martin Lings, the contents of the book Muhammad His Life based on the Earliest Sources, and their historiographic analysis. The method used is a historical research method which consists of four stages, namely heuristics (collection of sources), criticism (selection of sources), interpretation (interpretation of data), and historiography (writing of history). Based on research that has been done, it is known that Martin Lings came from England and in 1938 he converted to Islam. He died in 2005 in England. Muhammad\u27s book: His Life Based on Earliest Sources, written by Martin Lings, first published in 1983. This book is divided into 85 parts which can be collected into 4 groups, namely before the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, the life of the Prophet Muhammad in Mecca, the life of the Prophet Muhammad in Medina and Islamic themes. In it, Lings selects the source he uses so he only chooses the earliest source. The style of writing Muhammad His Life\u27s book based on the Earliest Sources by Martin Lings is a type of Sirah included in the biographical tradition in Muslim historiography. The uniqueness that is contained in this book is; the author is a convert to Islam and Sufi, uses authentic sources, written in literary language, and combines socio-cultural analysis with the reading of scriptures and hadith, and also includes stories of miracles

No full textSebuah ekplorasi begonia Sumatera telah dilakukan untuk memprediksi populasi dan preferensi habitat B. leuserensis Hughes pada habitat alaminya di Gunung Ketambe, Taman Nasional Gunung Leuser, Aceh. Deskripsi morfologi B. leuserensis dan jenis begonia lainnya yang ditemukan di kawasan tersebut dilakukan untuk melengkapi deskripsi morfologi yang udah ada. Pendugaan jumlah populai dilakukan menggunakan petak contoh sebanyak 20 petak, dengan ukuran 10x10M pada dua lokasi yang berbeda. Parameter lingkungan meliputi suhu, kelembaban udara, pH tanah, kelembaban tanah, dan intensita cahaya diukur pada setiap plot sampel. Ebanyak empat jenis Begonia ditemukan di Gunung Ketambe, yaitu B. flexula, B. laruei, dan B. verecunda yang tergolong ke dalam Begonia dataran rendah, sedangkan B. leuserensis tersebar pada ketinggian 850-1.250 m asl. Studi populasi menunjukkan bahwa pada kelimpahan rata-rata B. leuserensis di kawaan tersebut menvapai 210 individu/ha. Secara umum, uhu, pH tanah dan intensitas cahaya merupakan faktor yang paling berpengaruh dalam kedu puluh petak contoh, selain ketinggian tempat yang membatasi persebaran B. leuserensis di zona submontana Gunung Ketambe

Muhammad in The West: Analysis of the Historical Description of the Prophet Muhammad in Armstrong’s Writings
No full textThe main objectives of this study are to analyze and understand: (1) the general constructions of the Prophet Muhammad in the descriptions of Western writers; and (2) Armstrong\u27s description of the Prophet Muhammad. This study is library research that uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-critical method. Data were collected by reading various biographical literature on Prophet Muhammad from Western writers, which were grouped into three criteria: orientalist writers, revisionist writers, and popular writers. The results of the study show that: (1) there is a dynamic dialectic in the description of the figure of the Prophet Muhammad by Western writers, both from orientalist circles, such as W. Montgomery Watt, David Samuel Margoliouth, Edward Said, revisionists such as Patricia Crone, Michael Cook, Fred M. Donner, and popular writers like Karen Armstrong. This dynamic shows that the effort to understand the figure of the Prophet Muhammad is an important effort to understand Islam in Western society; and (2) Armstrong\u27s description as the author of popular religious studies books about the figure of the Prophet Muhammad; made a major contribution to reducing various misunderstandings about Islam and the figure of the Prophet Muhammad in the eyes of Western society
PEMANTAUAN KONSENTRASI GAS SO2 , NO2 , DAN CO SAAT ERUPSI DI SEKITAR GUNUNG SEMERU MENGGUNAKAN CITRA SATELIT SENTINEL-5 PRECURSOR
No full textGunung Semeru adalah gunung tipe A yang sampai saat ini masih aktif. Gunung Semeru secara administratif termasuk dalam wilayah dua kabupaten, yakni Kabupaten Malang dan Kabupaten Lumajang, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Gunung ini termasuk dalam kawasan Taman Nasional Bromo Tengger Semeru. Erupsi Gunung Semeru tidak hanya berdampak pada suatu wilayah saja, akan tetapi juga pada wilayah yang ada di sekitar gunung tersebut. Salah satu zat yang disemburkan oleh gunung api pada saat erupsi adalah gas SO2. Selain gas SO2, gas NO2 dan gas CO merupakan parameter penting untuk menentukan kualitas udara. Data gas tersebut didapatkan dengan memanfaatkan hasil rekaman Sentinel-5P. Data Sentinel-5P diolah dan dianalisis untuk dapat mengetahui konsentrasi gas SO2, NO2, dan CO di wilayah sekitar Gunung Semeru saat terjadinya erupsi pada tanggal 04 Desember 2022.
