KONTRIBUSI GAYATRI RAJAPATNI UNTUK KEJAYAAN MAJAPAHIT TAHUN 1309-1350
Leadership often focused on the presence of a male figure who is seen as primary compared to a female figure. In modern era, the role of women has begun to be seen as their role as a leader, warrior, and motivator in many ways. Every woman who appears in public has their own characteristics, so that makes it unique and interesting to research. All these characteristics are born and emanate directly from the figure of a woman who tries to be a activator of change for herself and society.Dyah Dewi Gayatri or Gayatri is a woman who has a contribution in the kingdom of Majapahit. Gayatri is the fourth daughter of King Kertanagara from the Singhasari kingdom. In addition, Gayatri is also the wife of Dyah Wijaya (the first king of Majapahit), as well as the mother of Tribhuwana Tunggadewi. Gayatri as a woman at that time had her own potential and specificities, which contributed to the kingdom of Majapahit. This research focuses on the contribution of Gayatri to the glory of Majapahit in the span of time between 1309-1350.The research purposes are (1) To describe Gayatri's contribution in the process of achieving the glory of Majapahit in 1309-1350 and (2) To analyze the role of Gayatri for the glory of Majapahit in 1328-1350 and exemplary values for women today. This research uses a historical research method which consists of four phases, namely (1) heuristics, (2) source criticism, (3) interpretation, and (4) historiography. The primary sources in this research are the Berumbung II or Geneng II 1251 C (1329 AD) Inscription, the Batur Inscription (without a date), and the Tribhuwana Tunggadewi Inscription between 1256-1272 C (1334-1350 AD). Secondary sources in this research are books that discuss the history of Indonesia during the Hindu-Buddhist era, which focuses on the Majapahit kingdom era.The results of this research indicate the contribution of Gayatri in her role as Rajapatni and as Makalamanggalya. Gayatri as Rajapatni and as Makalamanggalya, has an important position in the bureaucratic structure and delivering Majapahit kingdom to the glory in 1328-1350. Majapahit, as well as giving advice by forming advisory council or a grand deliberative council (Bhatara Sapta Prabhu) to assist in the government system.The exemplary values of Gayatri figures are an inspiration for society, especially women. Gayatri's exemplary values are the ethos of learning, being brave, responsible, wise, and still positions Gayatri as a woman according to her power.Keywords: Gayatri, Contribution, Majapahit Kingdom

El presente artículo despliega una reflexión sobre
los procesos y resultados tanto teóricos como prác-
ticos sobre la Investigación Formativa, vista desde la
posibilidad de ser Semillero, el cual se ha conforma-

Gayatri Spivak Deconstruction and the Ethics of Postcolonial Literary Interpretation
How does Spivak approach the signs the madwoman in the attic, the good black servant, the monster and the "wholly Other"? What is the basis of Spivak's ethics of interpretation and what are her main tools? Gayatri Spivak: Deconstruction and the Ethics of Postcolonial Literary Interpretation is an ambitious and compelling critical work which answers various questions surrounding one of the most notoriously difficult literary theorists in our times. This book is an in-depth study of Spivak's readings of a cluster of canonical and peripheral literary texts covering Jane Eyre, Wide Sargasso Sea, Frankenstein, Foe and "Pterodactyl." It divides Spivak's literary theoretical practice into two phases; the first is de Manian and the second is Derridean. However, the book also shows that these two phases are not clearly independent from each other; rather, there are continuities between them. The theory resulting from these two phases can be described as affirmative postcolonial literary interpretation: Derridean in spirit but de Manian in technique. The book also meticulously defines Spivak's position within the thought of Derrida, de Man and western feminists and reveals the possibilities available for readers who wish to ethically approach and interpret the sign of the "wholly Other," which reaches in its scope "the native subaltern female." Analysing Spivak's literary interpretation as such, this book offers insights to postcolonial readers and provides them with new tools, such as "learning from below," useful for reading not literature only, but also contemporary political, cultural and social issues from new perspective

The following is a discussion between two distinguished comparative literature
scholars, David Damrosch and Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak. This is a transcription
of their dialogue, delivered orally before a large audience at the 2011 American
Comparative Literature Conference in Vancouver, Canada, on 2 April. It has been
lightly edited to remove the natural redundancy inherent to oral communication,
to eliminate asides regarding technical aspects of the presentation, and to fill in
gaps in the recording process, which left inaudible portions. They were introduced
by then-president of the ACLA, Haun Saussy. (Biographical data on Damrosch
and Spivak can be found in the “Contributors” section at the end of this journal.

Industri batik tersebut dirintis sejak tahun 2013 oleh Setio Hadi. Jenis batik yang diproduksi sangat beragam, tentunya memiliki ciri khas yang dapat membedakan sentra industri batik lain. Selain keberagaman jenis batik yang diproduksi mengusung tema kebudayaan, terdapat keunikan ditinjau dari segi motif dan visual yang ada pada batik Gayatri. Oleh sebab itu, menarik untuk diteliti.Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) ciri khas motif batik Gayatri; (2) Makna dari motif batik Gayatri. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan deskripsi kualitatif. Hal pertama yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan dengan berbagai tahapan, seperti tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan cara triangulasi sumber dan metode.Hasil penelitian meliputi (1)Visualisasi motif batik Gayatri meliputi : a) motif utama, motif pendukung, dan isen-isen. (2) Makna motif batik Gayatri terinspirasi dari cerita foklore (cerita rakyat) dan potensi wisata daerah. Batik Gayatri Tulungagung meskipun tergolong dalam batik kontemporer, kain batik yang diproduksi menggunakan tema kebudayaan daerah seperti legenda Angling Dharma, Roro Kembang Sore dan potensi wisata daerah Tulungagung.Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menambah ilmu pada bidang seni batik. Untuk pendidikan diharapkan menjadi sumber refrensi dalam materi pembelajaran yaitu seni batik. Bagi peneliti lain, diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan refrensi dan dikembangkan lagi. Accordingly, it is interesting to study.The research aims to analyze: (1) the characteristics of motif batik Gayatri; (2) The meaning of the motif batik Gayatri. This research was conducted using a qualitative description approach. The first thing to do in this research is data collection using observation, interview and document techniques. Data analysis is carried out in various stages, such as data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Checking the validity of the data is done by means of source and method triangulation.The results of the study include (1) Visualization of Gayatri batik motifs include: a) main motives, supporting motives, and isen-isen. (2) The meaning of the Gayatri batik motif is inspired by the story of foklore (folklore) and regional tourism potential. Gayatri Tulungagung Batik although classified in contemporary batik, batik cloth is produced using regional cultural themes such as the legend of Angling Dharma, Roro Kembang Sore and the tourism potential of the Tulungagung area. The results of this study are expected to increase knowledge in the field of batik art. Education is expected to be a reference source in learning materials, namely batik art. For other researchers, it is expected that the results of this study can be used as references and developed again. It is hoped that Tulungagung Gayatri batik craftsmen will be more innovative and develop their business to be better known to the wider community

Gayatri Rajapatni's Leadership Strategy as a Revolutionary Woman Designer of the Majapahit Empire's Vision
Modern societies view women as equal to men, especially in government. conversely, societies with traditional stigmas view women as having power only in the domestic sphere. Historically, Javanese women, particularly in the ancient Javanese era, held a strategic position in shaping government policy. This is evident in the presence of Gayatri Rajapatni in the Majapahit Kingdom. Gayatri served as an advisor to the king and a policy maker, although she was not legally the queen. This study aims to determine the leadership strategy of Gayatri Rajapatni, a figure behind the success of Majapahit. This study used historical research methods and resulted in an analysis of Gayatri Rajapatni's leadership strategy in building the Majapahit Empire. The author concludes that Gayatri Rajapatni employed various leadership strategies to implement her vision for Majapahit's glory, namely by developing tactics and leadership patterns inherited from her father (Kertanegara)
GAYATRI RAJAPATNI DALAM EKSPRESI KERAMIK RELIEF REPRESENTATIF
Gayatri Rajapatni adalah istri ke 3 dari Raden Wijaya, raja pertama kerajaan Majapahit. Gayatri merupakan sosok di balik layar yang memiliki andil dalam perjalanan kejayaan Kerajaan Majapahit. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dari beberapa tulisan di kitab Nagarakrtagama dan bangunan candi Bhayalango. Gayatri diarcakansebagai Prajnaparamita (Dewi Kebijaksanaan) setelah wafat. Peran Gayatri semasa kejayaan Kerajan Majapahit yakni, mampu mendampingi sang suami (Raden Wijaya) dalam memimpin kerajaan. Sepeninggal suaminya, Gayatri Rajapatni juga mendampingi dan membimbing putrinya Tribhuanotunggadewi sampai cucunya Hayam Wuruk dalam memimpin Kerajaan Majapahit. Kesetaraan gender telah ada sejak zaman dahulu di tanah Jawa. Melalui sosok Gayatri, kita dapat mempelajari bagaimana perempuan di masa lalu yang dapat turut andil dalam pemerintahan. Intrik serta percaturan politik yang Gayatri lakukan, mampu mengantarkan Kerajaan Majapahit pada kejayaan. Namun, sangat disayangkanbanyak masyarakat yang kurang mengenal sosok perempuan bijaksana, tanggungjawab, sederhana serta penuh cinta kasih sayang tersebut. Penciptaan ini bersumber ide dari Gayatri Rajapatni yang merupakan tokoh dibalik kejayaan Kerajaan Majapahit. Sumber ide diekspresikan secara simbolik dalam bentuk karya kreatif keramik relief. Langkah-langkah dalam penciptaan keramik relief adalah perenungan ide, penyempurnaan ide, pemantapan ide dan proses penyelesaian. Dalam proses penyelesaian terdapat beberapa proses di dalamnya yakni, (1) mengolah ide menjadi sebuah konsep karya, (2) pembuatan sketsa-sketsa pilihan, (3) menentukan sketsa terpilih dan (4) pembentukan/aktualisasi menggunakan media tanah liat. Proses pembentukan menggunakan beberapa teknik yakni, teknik pilin, pijit dan cetak tekan. Body keramik sebelum dibakar dalam suhu sekitar 800°C haruslah dikeringkan secara bertahap. Setelah dibakar, karya melewati tahap finishing sebelum siap untuk dipamerkan. Tujuh karya keramik relief ditampilkan menggunakan media estetik berupa titik, garis, bidang, warna dan tekstur. Karakter karya keramik relief berupa panel-panel dengan bunga dan daun pada latar belakang. Tekstur berupa garis-garisputusdisajikanuntukmemvisualisasikan aura dandramatisasikisah. Hasil penciptaan keramik relief diharapkan dapat memberikan pengalaman baru bagi penulis dan pembaca dalam berkarya seni.Karyatersebutdiharapkandapatmenjadipemahamanmengenaimaknakearifan sikap Gayatri Rajapatni sebagai tokoh perempuan yang mempunyai andil besar dalam Kerajaan Majapahit.
