Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

PENYERAPAN ION LOGAM Pb(II) DARI LARUTAN MENGGUNAKAN SERBUK DAUN PURING (Codiaeum variegatum)
Get PDFThe adsorption of metal ion Pb(II) by croton leaf powder through the activation of hydrochloric acid (HCl) or chemical methods has been researched. The research aimed to determine the optimum condition of croton leaf powder as adsorbent by variation of contacting time (30, 60, 90 and 120 minutes) and the difference in mass of adsorbent (1; 2; 3 and 4 grams ). This research began with downsizing the size of croton leafs become to 100 mesh, then was performed chemical activation by soaking the croton leaf powder with 2 N HCl. The adsorption was conducted by contacting the adsorbent with a solution of the sample based on contacting time and mass of adsorbent, then analyzed by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). The result showed that the optimum condition of adsorption was achieved at 4 grams adsorbent by contacting time in the 60 minutes with Pb(II) adsorbed 1,76 mg/L or 35,2 %. Based on this findings, we concluded that the increase in mass of adsorbent increased the adsorption power of metal ion Pb(II) by optimum contacting time. Respon Anatomi Batang Tanaman Padi Hitam (Oryza sativa "Cempo Ireng") Dengan Aplikasi Paklobutrazol Dan Pupuk Organik Cair
No full textPadi hitam mempunyai potensi cukup besar dikembangkan, karena mengandung antioksidan, vitamin BI, makroelemen serta mineral yang sangat baik untuk kesehatan. Oleh karena itu, produktivitas padi hitam harus ditingkatkan, Namun, padi memiliki tinggi batang semu yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan padi yang lain sehingga rentan terhadap kerobohan. Oleh karena itu perlu diaplikasikan paklobutrazol dan pupuk organik cair untuk menurunkan tinggi batang semu serta meningkatkan ketebalan diameter batang semu sehingga tahan terhadap kerebahan. Penelitian dilakukan di "Green House" dan areal pertanian dengan menggunakan RALK 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah aplikasi paklobutrazol yang terdiri atas 4 konsentrasi, yaitu: 0 ppm, 10 ppm, 20 ppm atau 30 ppm diberikan pada saat perkecambahan. Faktor kedua adalah aplikasi pupuk oganik cair yang terdiri atas 4 konsentrasi, yaitu: 0 ml (kontrol)/pot, 0.6 ml/pot, 1.2 ml/ pot dan 1.8 ml/pot diberikan saat tanaman berumur 4, 8 dan 12 minggu. Parameter yang diamati yaitu: ketebalan anatomi batang, panjang berkas pengangkut dan tebal kortek batang semu tanaman padi hitam. Analisis data dengan ANAVA, jika terdapat perbedaan dilanjutkan dengan DMRT. Analisis ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Software SPPS 21.0padataraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi paklobutrazol 30 ppm tunggal berpengaruh nyata terhadap ketebalan anatomi batang, panjang berkas pengangkut dan, tebal kortek

This research is a quasi-experimental study. The population of this research is all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 15 Yogyakarta consisting of ten classes. Data collection techniques in this study is a test. The data in this study used a proportion test and paired sample tests with normal approximations. The results obtained are the method of learning mathematics with effective metaphorical thinking in junior high school students

Based on the results of the exposure in this journal it can be concluded that the background of the emergence of harmony between religious communities are: (1) The educational factor, most of the population who have received the education became more aware of the importance of maintaining harmony of life among religious people. It proves that their understanding of religious differences is no longer superficial, so the differences are not a pretext to overthrow each other. But it isall used as a means to be able to establish cooperation. (2) Conditions of environment, circumstances and circumstances conducive environment, in the sense that there is rarely and even never a conflict in the name of religion. It drove them away from the influence of secularism and sara issues that could lead to division. (3). Geographical location, viewed from geographical location, village Anamina Kec. Manggelewa Kab. Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
