Painehaavojen ennaltaehkäisy ja hoito: opas Kauhajoen Vanhaintuki ry:lle
No full textTämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tehdä opas painehaavojen ennaltaehkäisystä ja hoidosta Kauhajoen Vanhaintuki ry:lle. Oppaan avulla saadaan koulutettua työntekijöitä ja tuotua uusia toimintatapoja käytännön työhön.
Painehaavat ovat lisääntyneet väestön ikääntyessä. Työntekijöiden on tärkeää saada yhtenäisiä toimintatapoja painehaavojen ennaltaehkäisyyn. Ennaltaehkäisy on huomattavasti kustannustehokkaampaa kuin painehaavojen hoito. Tämän vuoksi opinnäytetyössä painotetaan ennaltaehkäisyä. Painehaavat aiheuttavat elämän laadun heikkenemistä ikääntyneille ja kustannuksia yhteiskunnalle sekä asukkaalle. Oikeanlainen hoito nopeuttaa painehaavojen paranemista, sen vuoksi oppaassa käydään läpi myös painehaavojen hoitoa.
Opinnäytetyössä käytettiin apuna Hoitotyön tutkimussäätiön tekemää hoitosuositusta painehaavan ehkäisystä ja tunnistamisesta aikuispotilaan hoitotyössä. Hoitosuosituksen ympärille kerättiin teoriatietoa eri lähteistä

No full textVillalankojen sävyt on syntyneet sipulista, veriseitikistä ja pietaryrtistä. Elina on värjännyt langat lappilaisilla sienillä ja kasveilla. Lankojen piirtämät muodot vihjaavat mummolan perinteisiin lankatauluihin. Näyttely on kunnianosoitus elävälle perinteelle: kasvivärjäyksen ja lankataulujen revitalisaatio.Maria Huhmarniemi and Elina Härkönen draw with woolen strings in the exhibition “New image of string art".The colors of wool yarn are from natural dyeing: from onions, mushrooms, and plants. Elina has dyed yarns, Maria have drawn with them in a similar way that people used to make decorative crafts in Finland, and co-creation has included dialogue, sharing and collaboration. Traditional topics of flowers have changed into more modern shapes and images influenced by world cultures. The exhibition is a tribute to living heritage: the revitalization of plant dyeing and yarn boards.Maria and Elina are artists and art educators based in Rovaniemi and the University of Lapland. They are inspired by craft traditions and Northern nature. The exhibition continues their collaboration in series of artworks Nature Colour Theory.<br/

No full textThe installation is our joint study of the Komi landscape we explored during the LiLa summer school in May 2018. It is a continuation of our previous artwork Subtle Russian blue a photography collage with elements of blue from the Komi landscape, that was exhibited in the Syktyvkar State University gallery May 2018. After our journey, we continued to work on our experiences of the landscape. The handmade elements of the installation are our individual approaches defined by different materials and the way of making. The old, new, borrowed and blue refer to the way materials are used and combined to an installation. While the blue represented mainly an ordinary ‘paint on the walls’ for the locals, for us visitors it became a dominant and fascinating element of the landscape.Tanya has used pieces of drift wood and bark found from Komi and Finnish Lapland. The blue embroidery thread is traveling and following the shapes of the wooden texture and represents her journey in the landscape. She sees the wooden pieces with the subtle touches of blue as an act of borrowing and returning. Elina has processed her relationship to the Komi landscape in her knittings. She has studied the traditional Komi patterns and applied them to her handcrafts. The blue color of the yarn connects her experience to the landscape and the act of knitting to the common everyday tradition between Komi and Finland. The hints of ochre in her works are a gift of plant-dyed yarn from Lidia Kostareva. This installation is a mixture of visitor’s look and local knowledge weaved together into a new poetic view of the everyday landscape of Komi.<br/
