Sebuah kajian filosofis: Pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai dan norma Pancasila
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis urgensi penerapan nilai-nilai karakter nasionalisme yang berpedoman pada nilai-nilai dan norma Pancasila sebagai sistem filsafat. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode systematic review (meta-sintesis) yang diperoleh dari data digital melalui kajian analisis studi meta-etnografi. Kajian studi model meta-etnografi diterapkan dalam wahana “interpretatif” pendalaman studi utama untuk menghubungkan konsep pendidikan karakter nasionalis dalam kajian Pancasila sebagai sistem filsafat. Peneliti melakukan penelusuran data iterative dalam membedah dimensi ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi filsafat Pancasila. Melalui pendekatan interpretatif, penulis mendeskripsikan pengembangan penerapan pendidikan karakter nasionalisme peserta didik yang berlandaskan pada nilai-nilai dan penghayatan norma-norma yang terkandung dalam Pancasila yang belum diterapkan secara maksimal di lingkungan sekolah. Selain itu, penulis mengembangkan studi primer untuk membedah konsep Pancasila dalam jejaring pemaknaan filosofis dalam memaknai arti kehidupan yang perlu dihayati peserta didik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Pancasila perlu kembali ditegakkan dan ditempatkan dalam fungsi dan kedudukannya sebagai dasar negara dalam memperkokoh dan menggugat dimensi epistemologis Pancasila yang bukan saja ditujukan pada bangsa Indonesia, melainkan pada tataran global sebagai pengejahwantahan nilai kebinekaan global
Transformational Leadership: Strategies for Creating Green Environments in Indonesian Schools
The primary aim of this study is to explore how transformational leadership influences school management and to identify effective strategies that support sustainable environmental development. This qualitative research employs case studies involving school principals, five teachers, three students, and three parents from junior high schools in Malang City that have implemented green school (Adiwiyata) programs. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis. Triangulation was used to analyze the data, ensuring the accuracy and credibility of the findings. The results indicate that transformational leadership is crucial in implementing green school policies by fostering stakeholder motivation and engagement in sustainability practices. Key challenges include resistance to change and limited resources. Effective strategies involve enhancing leadership training, fostering participatory policy development, and integrating environmentally friendly technologies. This study offers valuable insights for improving managerial practices in green schools and advancing environmental sustainability in the education sector
PEMBERDAYAAN SEMANGAT TOLERANSI BERAGAMA DALAM KOMUNITAS PELAYANAN DIALOG ANTAR-AGAMA DI KECAMATAN KEPANJEN, MALANG
Empowerment of awareness and the meaning of life of religious tolerance is a very important activity to be given to the community. The aim is to develop broad insights and understanding, to form tolerant behavior that is shown through concrete actions that support the creation of a safe, peaceful, harmonious life in an integrative society based on multiculturalism values. This tolerant life empowerment activity is a real effort to overcome various forms of conflict due to intolerance in society. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out community empowerment activities in the community of inter-religious dialogue services to build awareness of living as a tolerant nation and state. The method used in this community service activity is the socialization of empowerment (lectures) and simulations (dialogue/fraternal sharing and real action) guided by the speakers. The subjects in this empowerment activity are the people who join the Inter-religious Dialogue Service Community, especially the Inter-religious Dialogue Service Community of St. Ignasius Loyola in the Kepanjen Parish area, Malang, with a total of 80 participants. As a result of this empowerment of religious tolerance, the community has broad knowledge and understanding regarding the importance of a safe and harmonious life, and is able to build an open and adaptive culture of religious tolerance
MODEL PENDEKATAN KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSFORMASIONAL KEPALA SEKOLAH BERBASIS NILAI-NILAI BUDAYA, HUMANISTIK, DAN NASIONALISME DALAM PENGUATAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER
This study aims to describe the reasons for applying the cultural, humanistic, and nationalism approaches by school principals in supporting transformational leadership behavior. In addition, to explore the steps of the principal's transformational leadership role based on three forms of approach in the implementation of character education strengthening programs. This study used a qualitative approach, case study design. Data collection through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and learn documentation. Data analysis used a modified analytic analysis method. The level of credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability examines the validity of the data. The research findings explain that culture or tradition greatly influences the school environment, personal excellence, and encouragement to revive the humanistic spiritual inspirational figure, as well as the image of the school foundation managed by the Military unit, Kodam V-Brawijaya, being the basic reason that inspires the principal to use a cultural, humanistic approach, and nationalism. Besides that the steps of the principal's transformational leadership role based on cultural, humanistic, and nationalism approaches have an effective effect in optimizing the implementation of character education strengthening in schools. </p
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Strategic evaluation of management efforts to reduce drpouts and enhance learning participation
This study aims to identify effective evaluation management strategies to reduce school dropout rates and enhance educational participation in East Nusa Tenggara Province (ENTP), Eastern Indonesia. Employing a qualitative methodology with a case study approach, the research analyzes educational disparities between urban and rural areas and the effectiveness of current management policies and practices. Data were collected using in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis. The findings were analyzed employing a modified descriptive-analytic approach. The results reveal that the primary factors contributing to school dropouts in ENTP include poverty, limited geographical accessibility, and low awareness of the value of education. While incentive-based policies and community-driven education management have yielded positive results, this study advocates for integrating contemporary educational management principles—such as Outcome-Based Education (OBE), technological innovation, and enhanced community participation. The policy recommendations emphasize the improvement of educational infrastructure, strengthening incentive mechanisms, and implementing contextually grounded strategies to advance inclusive and sustainable education in support of the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Pentingnya Nilai-Nilai Pancasila dalam Kegiatan Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) bagi Pembentukan Karakter Peserta Didik Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kota Malang
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penghayatan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kegiatan Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) serta menganalisis kendala dan strategi penyelesaiannya dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kota Malang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, koordinator P5, peserta didik, dan orang tua. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila melalui kegiatan P5 telah berjalan secara progresif, tantangan signifikan masih ditemukan, seperti keterbatasan fasilitas, rendahnya partisipasi orang tua, serta motivasi peserta didik yang fluktuatif. Upaya strategis yang dilakukan mencakup peningkatan komunikasi sekolah–rumah, pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman (experiential learning), dan refleksi nilai. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan sinergi multipihak, pelatihan guru kontekstual, serta penguatan budaya sekolah untuk mendukung efektivitas pendidikan karakter berbasis Pancasila.
The Importance of Pancasila Values in the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project Activities (P5) for Student Character Formation
Abstract
This study aims to explore the internalization of Pancasila values through the Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile Project (P5) and to analyze its challenges and strategic solutions in shaping students' character at a junior secondary school in Malang City. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving school leaders, teachers, P5 coordinators, students, and parents. The findings reveal that while the internalization of Pancasila values through P5 has shown progressive implementation, significant challenges persist, including limited facilities, low parental involvement, and fluctuating student motivation. Strategic efforts undertaken include enhancing school-parent communication, experiential learning approaches, and value-based reflection. This study recommends the following to improve the effectiveness of character education grounded in the principles of the Indonesian ideology, known as Pancasila: strengthening multi-stakeholder collaboration, providing context-specific teacher training, and fostering a positive school culture
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
