    PERANCANGAN STRUKTUR ATAS GEDUNG HOTEL MANOHARA JALAN AFFANDI, YOGYAKARTA

    Rumah tinggal sementara merupakan kebutuhan utama bagi para wisatawan. Yogyakarta merupakan salah satu kota wisata dengan pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk yang meningkat setiap tahunnya. Sehingga pembangunan hotel dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk menanggulangi kebutuhan rumah tinggal sementara yang dibatasi oleh keterbatasan lahan dan tingginya harga lahan kosong yang tersedia pada daerah Kota Yogyakarta. Perancangan struktur atas gedung mengacu pada peraturan SNI 2847:2019 tentang Persyaratan Beton Struktur untuk Bangunan Gedung, SNI 1726:2019. Untuk perencanaan ketahanan terhadap gaya gempa yang terjadi, SNI 1727:2013 dan SNI 1727:2020 untuk pembebanan rencana dan peraturan-peraturan yang berlaku di Indonesia untuk perancangan Struktur Bangunn Gedung. Dari Perancangan Struktur Gedung Hotel Manohara didapat dimensi struktur apartemen yang digunakan adalah 150 mm untuk pelat lantai dasar, lantai 1, dan atap dan pelat lantai 120 mm, 75/75 untuk balok induk, 35/60 untuk balok anak, untuk dimensi kolom menggunakan 80/80. Penggunan dimensi struktur balok dibuat seragam dari lantai 1 sampai dengan atap. Untuk pelat lantai digunakan tulangan tumpuan D12-240, lapangan D12-240 dan susut D10-240. Untuk penulangan balok induk lantai 1 (B93) dengan dimensi 45/75 digunakan tulangan tumpuan atas 8 D 25 dan bawah 6 D 25 dengan sengkang 2 D 13 – 60, untuk daerah lapangan atas 6 D 25 dan bawah 8 D 25 dengan sengkang 2 D 13- 120. Untuk daerah penulangan kolom (K1) dengan dimensi 80/80 bentang 3,25 m digunakan tulangan longitudinal 44 D 25 dengan tulangan transversal 5 D 13 untuk daerah tumpuan spasi 100 mm dan untuk lapangan 150 mm

    Ageratum conzoides var hirtum (Lam), Tithonia diversifolia (Hamsley) A. Gray and waster sago can be used as organic fertilizer or compost. Some isolates of Trichodermaspp. and bacteria cellulotic had been tested as the antagonize agent for controllingPhytophthora capsici(wilt disease on chili). These microorganism were used as decomposer of weeds, A.conyzoideshirtum var (Lam), T.diversifolia(Hamsley) A. Gray, and sago waste. The aims of the study were to select microbes that has capability to degradation cellulose and able to accelerate the composting process of A.conyzoideshirtum var (Lam), T.diversifolia(Hamsley) A. Gray, and sago waste; and determine the effect of formula compost on plant growth of chili, resistance to infection of P. capsici L and yield of chili. This study was conducted in three phases: 1). Selection of Trichoderma spp and bacteria isolates on Carboxy methyl cellulose (CMC) media, 2). Composting A.conyzoides var hirtum (Lam), T.diversifolia(Hamsley) A. Gray and sago waste by isolates ofTrichoderma spp and bacteria cellulotic which had been selected; 3). Application of compost formulas on chiliplants. The visualization of cellulase activities on CMC mediawere shown as the clear zone around the colony. Six isolates of Trichoderma spp (PO3, S1, N34, IU, PB 13, SKM) have the clear zone ratio range between 3.0 -5.3 and six isolates of bacteria (St109, Sk7, Cm58, Sk14, Sk 10 and St18) havethe clear zone ratio range between 2.6 to 5.4; were selected to decompose weeds and sago waste.The result showed that Trichoderma spp and bacteria cellulotic inoculantsor themixed of them were able to reduce the duration of composting process from 17–18 days to 13-15 days. The products of compost formula are appropriate with the SNI19-7030-2004 and standards minimumof technical organicfertilizer.Application of compost formulas and goat manure on chili plants affected the growth, the disease attacked and the yield of chili. The application of formula D{goat manure+A. conyzoides var hirtum (Lam)+ sago waste} caused the diseaseattacked about 33.3%but the yield was 524,56 g. While the diseaseattackedatgoat manuretreatment was 16.67% and the yield was 132.3 g. Formula D increased the yield of chili 3.96 times compare than goat manure only.Kandungan hara biomassa gulma berkisar dari sedang hingga tinggi sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai sumber bahan organik,diantaranyaAgeratum conyzoides var hirtum (Lamb) dan Tithonia diversifolia (Hamsley) A. Gray, selain itu limbah pertanian lainnya yang juga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber bahan organik adalah ampas sagu.Pemanfaatan mikroba mesofilik selain mempercepat proses pengomposan juga dapat memperbaiki kualitas kompos. Beberapa mikroba dekomposer dapat bertahan dalam komposdanberperan sebagai agen hayati pengendali penyakit tanamanan terutama patogen tular tanah. Bakteri antagonis yang banyak terdapat dalam kompos misalnya Bacillus spp, Actinomycetes, Pseudomonas sppsedangkan golongan fungi antagonis adalah Trichoderma spp, Penicillium spp, Aspergillus spp. Sejumlah hasil penelitian melaporkan bahwa penggunaan kompos sebagai penyedia hara mampu meningkatkan ketahanan tanaman terhadap serangan patogen. Penelitian dilakuan sejak Mei 2010 sampai Mei 2011 di Laboratorium Balitro dan Kebun percobaan Cikabayan, Institut Pertanian Bogor.Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga tahap yaitu 1).Seleksi Trichodema spp dan bakteri selulotik pada media agar Carboxy Methyl cellulose(CMC); 2).Pengomposan A.conyzoides varhirtum(Lam), T.diversifolia (Hamsley) A. Gray, serta ampas sagu dan 3).Aplikasi kompos pada tanaman cabai.Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan pada tahap tiga adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 11 perlakuan formula kompos yaitu A).     Jati (Tectona grandis) merupakan tanaman hutan yang mempunyai nilai komersial tinggi, sehingga jati dibudidayakan di banyak tempat di Indonesia. Beberapa contoh daun jati yang dikumpulkan dari berbagai lokasi di Pulau Jawa dan Sumatera menunjukkan gejala terserang cendawan karat. Kegiatan ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi cendawan karat dan memetakan penyebarannya. Identifikasi dilakukan dengan mengamati struktur morfologi cendawan, menentukan stadianya dan mengukur karakteristik morfologinya, antara lain: uredinia, urediniospora, dan paraphysis di bawah mikroskop cahaya. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan Olivea tectonae sebagai cendawan karat penyebabnya bercak daun jati. Stadia yang didapat adalah uredinia, sedang stadia lainnya tidak ditemukan. O. tectonae ditemukan dari semua contoh daun yang diamati yang dikumpulkan dari empat provinsi, yaitu: Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, Jawa Timur dan Lampung

    Communication is a fundamental human need to interact with each other. For children with special needs, particularly children with hearing impairment, communication becomes very important because they must to learn to communicate harder than a normal child. In SLB Karnna Manohara articulation mirror used as a device to train children with hearing impairment in communication, especially in terms of language expression. But the device is less effective because the size is large and not portable. The purpose of this program is implementation Electronic Portable Articulation Mirror (EPAM) which is a modification of a large mirror articulation into a portable, practical and more effective. Implementation of this program is done through several steps, they are observation, device improvements, feasibility test (calibration), evaluation and revision, application of device, and evaluation. The results of this program are EPAM design that consists of a mirror, an LCD display, a control menu, sound indicator light, power indicator light, power button, display baterray checker, 3.5 mm audio port, audio port 7 mm, charger port, speakers, headsets, and microphone. Then for the implementation of EPAM in speech therapy business unit of SLB Karnna Manohara has succeeded in increasing the expression of language ability of deaf children to gain (g) 0.72 and increased capacity with high criteria

    An Improved Algorithm for Video Summarization – A Rank Based Approach

    AbstractVideo summarization is one of the promising approaches for effective comprehension of video content by selecting informative frames of the video. The aim is to produce a summary of the video which is interesting to the user and representing the whole video. In this paper the proposed approach for video summarization takes various features into account such as representativeness, uniformity, static attention, temporal attention and quality which includes colorfulness, brightness, contrast, hue count, edge distribution for selecting keyframes. Experiments have been conducted on videos from open-video.org and results are compared with the standard ground truth. The results are also compared with the algorithm in literature and is found to produce better results

    Effect of choice complexity on design efficiency in conjoint choice experiments

    Conjoint choice experiments have become a powerful tool to explore individual preferences. The consistency of respondents' choices depends on the choice complexity. For example, it is easier to make a choice between two alternatives with few attributes than between five alternatives with several attributes. In the latter case it will be much harder to choose the preferred alternative which is reflected in a higher response error. Several authors have dealt with this choice complexity in the estimation stage but very little attention has been paid to set up designs that take this complexity into account. The core issue of this paper is to find out whether it is worthwhile to take this complexity into account in the design stage. We construct efficient semi-Bayesian D-optimal designs for the heteroscedastic conditional logit model which is used to model the across respondent variability that occurs due to the choice complexity. The degree of complexity is measured by the entropy, as suggested by Swait and Adamowicz (2001). The proposed designs are compared with a semi-Bayesian D-optimal design constructed without taking the complexity into account. The simulation study shows that it is much better to take the choice complexity into account when constructing conjoint choice experiments. © 2011 Elsevier B.V.status: Publishe
