The author has studied the seaIing properties of some materials such as Cavit, Zinc oxide-eugenol cement, Zinc phosphate cement, gutta percha, and gutta percha with Zinc phosphate cement, empÌoyed to hold medicinal agents in root canals, in fifty freshly extracted human bicuspids, and a 0,5% trypan blue solution. Best results were obtained with. Cavit, while, quite surprisingly, the worst results we're displaced by Zinc oxide-eugenol cement.

Altıncı bölümde ise Ali Rıza Önder'in bibliyografyası yer almaktadır.This study includes folklore studies by Ali Rıza Önder who is a lawyer and a folklore researcher that lived between 1918 and 1994. The thesis consists of Önder's life and the articles he wrote on folklore studies, language, literature and social issues. In this study, it is aimed to put forward a neat study on the life and published articles of Önder, who came to the forefront with the biographies he prepared about the folklore researchers and the legends he compiled. The study is consisting of six main titles. In the first part, the life of the author and what has been written about him are discussed. In the second chapter, his book titled "Yaşayan Anadolu Efsaneleri" which is his work on folklore studies is examined. In the third chapter, the articles of Önder, published in various magazines and newspapers about folklore, are given in chronological order. In the fourth section, Congress and Seminar Papers are examined. In the fifth chapter, his writings about the matters other than the folklore studies are included. In the sixth section, there is a bibliography of Ali Rıza Önder

Microbial landscape of the oral cavity in chronic recurrent aphthous stomatitis

The article describes studies of the microflora of the oral mucosa, studied the quantitative ratios of normal representatives of each biotope, as well as the presence and number of opportunistic and pathogenic microorganisms. Based on the results obtained, the author concluded that helminthic invasion worsens the degree and course of dysbiosis of the mouth and intestines, and also noted the relationship between the duration of the course of chronic recurrent aphthous stomatitis and dysbiosis of the oral cavit

Trend Analysis Of Snowfall Data For The Central Anatolian Region

Springer NatureWater is one of the indispensable resources for continuing life on earth. For about 4 billion years, the amount of water on earth has been constant, and this amount is accepted as stable over time. This shows us that today’s water belongs to a cycle of billions of years. In this cycle, snowfall and snow cover on land are among the best clean water resources. The fact that the hydro-meteorological parameters are not constant over time necessitates the analysis of these parameters. These analyses are crucial for detecting anomalies in these parameters and monitoring climate change. But most trend analysis studies are performed on precipitation and temperature data, and snowfall data is often overlooked. In this study, the Şen trend test was applied to the winter season data (snow-covered days, number of days with snowfall, average snow height) of 12 Turkish State Meteorological Service (TSMS) stations in the central Anatolia Region at 95 of the confidence interval between 1976 and 2020. According to the results obtained for the number of days covered with snow, there is a decreasing trend in all 12 stations, but only 1 (Kayseri station) is statistically significant. No trend has been observed for the number of days with snowfall, and for the average snow height, only 1 (Niğde station) station shows an increasing trend. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG

The Correlation Between Reactive Oxygen Species and Histopathology of the Liver, Gut, and Kidneys in Animals with Elevated Intra-abdominal Pressure

    No full text
Background: Clinical and experimental studies have shown that the laparoscopic procedure provides a typical model of ischemia-reperfusion injury in the organs by oxygen-derived free radicals. A pneumoperitoneum produces ischemia during insufflation and reperfusion during desufflation. The aim of this study was to assess the causative role of free radical-mediated reactions in tissue damage under different intra-abdominal insufflation pressures

"This introduction chapter summarizes our current understandings of volcanic gas reservoirs worldwide and in China. The challenges and their innovative technical solutions presented in this book, as well as the significance of gas reservoir characterization, are summarized based on the authors' real case studies in Chinese volcanic gas fields during the last decade. A flow chart representing the research concepts and approaches that deal with specific difficulties in volcanic gas reservoir characterization provides the readers with an outline of this book"--"This introduction chapter summarizes our current understandings of volcanic gas reservoirs worldwide and in China. Effect of Increased Abdominal Pressure on Cytokines (IL1 beta, IL6, TNF alpha), C-reactive Protein (CRP), Free Radicals (NO, MDA), and Histology

    No full text
Background: It is generally accepted that proinflammatory mediators, including cytokines, are responsible for the metabolic changes associated with injury. Recent clinical and experimental studies have also shown that the laparoscopic procedures actually produce ischemia-reperfusion injury in the organs by oxygen-derived free radicals. This Study aimed to assess the effect of different insufflation pressures and laparotomy on tissue response by comparing the proinflammatory cytokines, C-reactive protein, and serum and tissue levels of oxygen-derived free radicals
