Análisis de factores estructurales en proyectos de extensión en una institución educativa argentina de gestión pública
No full textLa vinculación entre las instituciones educativas y el medio socio-productivo es un tema de permanente presencia en las agendas universitarias, que se analiza desde diferentes estrategias de intervención con el fin de promover la mejora de la calidad de vida de la comunidad a través de la formación y del asesoramiento, a fin de aportar soluciones a la desigualdad en el acceso a la formación, a la información y a la falta de sustentabilidad de los proyectos productivos entre otros. Los proyectos de extensión suponen para la institución educativa un vehículo de interacción con la comunidad, como emprendimientos que proponen un conjunto de acciones tendientes a la participación activa de los sujetos en el medio a partir del desarrollo de competencias específicas para su quehacer y genéricas en el desenvolvimiento en la sociedad actual. No full textLluís Capdevila es troba en la llarga nòmina de traductors - tots escriptors reconeguts- que traduïren al català abans de l'esclat de la Guerra Civil espanyola i que, pertanyents a les files dels vençuts, quedaren relegats a la clandestinitat i a l'exili durant decennis. De Capdevila se n'ha estudiat àmpliament les facetes periodística, política i dramatúrgica; però sorprèn que mai, fins ara, no s'hagi prestat atenció a la de traductor al català. Capdevila, republicà convençut, visqué a cavall entre Barcelona i París, on s'exilià, abans d'establir-se definitivament a Andorra. Fundà la revista Los Miserables i, posteriorment, dirigí L'Esquella de la Torratxa, La Campana de Gràcia i La Humanitat. Aquest estudi intenta aportar una mica més de llum a la seva figura, sobretot al vessant traductor, força desconegut.Lluís Capdevila is one in a long list of translators - all of them renowned writers that translated into Catalan right before the breakout of the Spanish Civil War- who were relegated for decades to clandestine life and exile for being members of the vanquished Republican ranks. Special attention has been paid to his work as a politician, journalist and playwright but, surprisingly enough, his translations have been inadequately studied. Capdevila, a determined and committed Catalan Republican, spent most of his life in exile, first in Paris and then in Andorra. He founded the periodical Los Miserables and he subsequently became the editor of some others, such as L'Esquella de la Torratxa, La Campana de Gràcia and La Humanitat. Therefore, with this paper, attention is going to be drawn to Capdevila's activity as a translator in order to complete his bio-bibliographic outline and shed light on this overlooked aspect of his life

Síntomas y calidad de vida en insuficiencia cardíaca: importancia pronóstica y estrategias para su valoración
No full textLa insuficiència cardíaca (IC) és un dels problemes de salut pública més grans de les societats occidentals i, malgrat els avenços diagnòstics i terapèutics, segueix representant un repte sanitari, organitzatiu i econòmic. La valoració dels símptomes i de la qualitat de vida en la IC, així com la seva relació amb el pronòstic, és limitada. L'objectiu d'aquesta tesi doctoral és estudiar estratègies per optimitzar la valoració dels símptomes i avaluar el pronòstic de la qualitat de vida en la IC.
Aquesta tesi doctoral es compon de tres estudis publicats:
- El primer projecte analitza una nova manera d'avaluar la dispnea en pacients amb IC aguda. L'estudi ha estat publicat a: Luiso D, Villanueva JA, Belarte-Tornero LC, Fort A, Blázquez-Bermejo Z, Ruiz S, Farré R, Rigau J, Martí-Almor J, Farré N. Els resultats d'aquesta tesi aporten un millor coneixement en la valoració de la dispnea, un dels principals símptomes en la IC, aporten informació sobre el valor pronòstic de la qualitat de vida en pacients d'edat avançada amb IC i mostren els beneficis del maneig ambulatori de les descompensacions d'IC.La insuficiencia cardíaca (IC) es uno de los mayores problemas de salud pública de las sociedades occidentales y, pese a los avances diagnósticos y terapéuticos, sigue representando un reto sanitario, organizativo y económico. La valoración de los síntomas y de la calidad de vida en IC, así como su relación con el pronóstico, es limitada. El objetivo de esta tesis doctoral es el estudio de estrategias para optimizar la valoración de los síntomas y evaluar el pronóstico de la calidad de vida en IC.
La presente tesis doctoral se compone de tres estudios publicados:

Los resultados de esta tesis aportan un mejor conocimiento en la valoración de la disnea, uno de los principales síntomas en la IC, aportan información sobre el valor pronóstico de la calidad de vida en pacientes de edad avanzada con IC y muestran los beneficios del manejo ambulatorio de las descompensaciones de IC.Heart failure (HF) is one of the biggest public health problems in Western societies and, despite diagnostic and therapeutic advances, it continues to represent a health, organizational and economic challenge. The assessment of symptoms and quality of life in HF, as well as their relationship with prognosis, is limited. The objective of this doctoral thesis is to study strategies to optimize the assessment of symptoms and evaluate the prognosis of quality of life in HF.
This doctoral thesis consists of three published studies:
- The first project analyzes a new way of evaluating dyspnea in patients with acute HF. (Romani) Biofiction as World Literature: A Case Study of Núria León de Santiago’s Mahler’s Angel
No full textThe following article analyses the biofiction El ángel de Mahler (Mahler’s Angel), published in 2014, by the Spanish Romani female author Núria León de Santiago to illustrate the extent to which a productive overlap exists between the genre of biofiction on the one hand and that of Romani literature as world literature on the other. León de Santiago’s biographical novel offers an excellent example of cross-cultural representation: a world-famous Jewish-Austrian musician, Gustav Mahler,
becomes the protagonist of a work by a Romani author writing in Spanish. Moreover, Mahler’s Angel is a “veiled autobiography” (Layne/Tóibín 2018, 151), in so far as the book not only presents a new perspective on Mahler’s life but also negotiates the writer’s autobiographic concerns regarding ethnic minorities in general and the multiple in- and out-group discriminations of Roma-women in particular. Thus, León de Santiago’s biofiction is a paradigmatic example of contemporary world literature “on the move” (Ette 2003) in a globalized world
