The bollo de mazorca is an ancestral food initially produced by the Indians from corn dough that they themselves sowed. Currently, the municipality of Arjona, along with the municipality of Villanueva, both in the department of Bolivar, are considered the largest producers and distributors of the bollo de mazorca in Colombia, being catalogued as the Capital city of the bollo de mazorca. This article aims to analyze the supply of the bollo de mazorca in the municipality of Arjona, Bolivar department, as well as the perception of producers on the current status and future of their production and marketing. For this purpose, a semi-structured questionnaire is applied to producers of the bollo de mazorca in the municipality, using the in-depth interview as a technique to obtain the information. The results show that, although the producers consider that production is increasing due to a greater number of people dedicated to the trade, they consider that it is uncertain whether the productive tradition, as well as its quality distinctions, will continue to be transmitted to new generations.
In this research, we obtained Bollos de mazorca by two ways: the traditional and technified way, both applied in the Villanueva (Bolivar, Colombia). For each of the types of Bollo obtained, physicochemical and microbiological properties were measured, obtaining good yield percentages for Bollo limpio, both in the traditional and the technified, or improved process (80 and 87% respectively), while for the Bollo de maíz biche, obtained by the traditional and the improved process, results were acceptable (70 and 75%). The best performance was always exhibited by the improved process. Microbiological results were satisfactory in all cases.
Diagnosis and management of right colonic diverticular disease: A review
The aim of this narrative review is to define the clinical-pathological characteristics and to clarify the management of right colonic diverticular disease. It is rare in Europe, USA and Australia and more common in Asia. In the recent years its incidence has increased in the West, with various distributions among populations. Many studies have reported that it is difficult to differentiate the presenting symptoms of this disease from those of appendicitis before surgery, because the signs and symptoms are similar, so misdiagnosis is not infrequent. With accurate imaging studies it is possible to reach a precise preoperative diagnosis, in order to assess an accurate treatment strategy. Currently the management of this disease is not well defined, no clear guidelines have been proposed and it is not known whether the guidelines for left colonic diverticular disease can also be applied for it. Several authors have stated that conservative management is the best approach, even in case of recurrence, and surgery should be indicated in selected cases

A Tripartite Post-Recession Rebalancing
In this latest Advance & Rutgers Report, entitled “A Tripartite Post-Recession Rebalancing,” Dean James W. Hughes and Professor Joseph J. Seneca deliver an incisive assessment of the current market conditions and obstacles in the path of our economic recovery. They offer a statistical cautionary tale that the private and public sector need to hear and acknowledge in order for the economy to make continued progress. This report was published as Issue Paper Number 7, November 2011, in Advance & Rutgers Report
Evidence for the decay B0→J/ψω and measurement of the relative branching fractions of meson decays to J/ψη and J/ψη′
First evidence of the B 0 → J / ψ ω decay is found and the B s 0 → J / ψ η and B s 0 → J / ψ η ′ decays are studied using a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb -1 collected by the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of sqrt(s) = 7 TeV. The branching fractions of these decays are measured relative to that of the B 0 → J / ψ ρ 0 decay:frac(B (B 0 → J / ψ ω), B (B 0 → J / ψ ρ 0)) = 0.89 ± 0.19 (stat) - 0.13 + 0.07 (syst),frac(B (B s 0 → J / ψ η), B (B 0 → J / ψ ρ 0)) = 14.0 ± 1.2 (stat) - 1.5 + 1.1 (syst) - 1.0 + 1.1 (frac(f d, f s)),frac(B (B s 0 → J / ψ η ′), B (B 0 → J / ψ ρ 0)) = 12.7 ± 1.1 (stat) - 1.3 + 0.5 (syst) - 0.9 + 1.0 (frac(f d, f s)), where the last uncertainty is due to the knowledge of f d / f s, the ratio of b-quark hadronization factors that accounts for the different production rate of B 0 and B s 0 mesons. The ratio of the branching fractions of B s 0 → J / ψ η ′ and B s 0 → J / ψ η decays is measured to befrac(B (B s 0 → J / ψ η ′), B (B s 0 → J / ψ η)) = 0.90 ± 0.09 (stat) - 0.02 + 0.06 (syst)
