Specimens collected in the caves of the high Pesio Valley, including type locality of T. rupicapra Brignoli, 1971 (= T. vignai Brignoli, 1971 after Pesarini, 2001), exhibit higher degree of troglomorphism (higher depigmentation, reduction of PLE and PME, lowering of the profile of cephalothorax; Figures 15–18) in respect to the northern populations of the same species. Deeleman-Reinhnold (1978) underlines that the troglomorphism in Troglohyphantes species (i.e. loss of pigmentation, reduction of the eyes apparatus, thinning of the integuments, richer spinulation) is directly related to regressive evolutionary phenomena. The same author also points out that the degree of eye reduction within the same population is “astonishingly uniform” and that “the reduction of the optical apparatus keeps pace with the rise of isolating mechanism” (Deeleman-Reinhold, 1978). Accordingly, we assume an incipient phenomenon of speciation for these populations, previously considered by Brignoli (1971) as separate species.Published as part of Isaia, Marco & Pantini, Paolo, 2010, New data on the spider genus Troglohyphantes (Araneae, Linyphiidae) in the Italian Alps, with the description of a new species and a new synonymy, pp. 1-18 in Zootaxa 2690 on page 11, DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19953
DrPython–WEB: A Tool to Help Teaching Well-Written Python Programs
A good percentage of students, while learning how to program for the first time in a higher education course, often write inelegant code, i.e., code which is difficult to read, badly organized, not commented. Writing inelegant code reduces the student’s professional opportunities, and is an indication of a non-systematic programming style which makes it very difficult to maintain (or even understand) the code later, even by its own author. In this paper we present DrPython–WEB, a web application capable to automatically extract linguistic, structural and style-related features, from students’ programs and to grade them with respect to a teacher-defined assessment rubric. The aim of DrPython–WEB is to make the students accustomed to good coding practices, and stylistic features, and make their code better. There are other systems able to perform code analysis through quality measures: the novelty of DrPython–WEB, with respect to such systems, is in that it analyzes also linguistic and stylistic features
Architecture with Landscape Methods: Case Study of the Rolex Learning Centre Lausanne by SANAA Tokyo
Contemporary architecture has been strongly influenced by the concept of landscape in recent times. A new mindset evolves that changes the core of the architectural discipline: the organization and composition of architectural space as a landscape. The scope of this thesis is to investigate and understand architecture that has been designed like a landscape. In projects of OMA, MVRDV, Peter Eisenman, Foreign Office or Diller+Scofidio the building inside and landscape outside do not merely interact, but the building is designed as an artificial landscape on its own. Landscape constitutes the inside. The landscape to architecture relation is turned inside-out. The author is studying these phenomena and their design methodologies. As a first finalized and completely documented case study the analysis of the Rolex Learning Center in Lausanne by SANAA is surely an important part of our discovery of landscape methods for architectural design. Landscape is developing here as the aesthetic mediator between nature and human.UrbanismArchitectur
Abstract: This case study consists of the research of experienced physiotherapist teaching practice (over 15 years of teaching practice) that acts in the formation of the physiotherapist for Primary Care. The chosen guiding theoretical framework was to Lee Shulman. This author states that the good teacher dominates both knowledge of the content and pedagogical knowledge, which together make up the Pedagogical Content Knowledge that is expressed in the practice of teaching85good, common to experienced teachers. In this perspective this research presents the results obtained by Autobiographical Interview conducted in academic year 2014 Institution of Public Federal Higher Education. The objective was to know the moments that make up the professional education of physiotherapists teacher engaged in training for primary health care and its relationship to the Pedagogical Content Knowledge Sources. Based on the narrative of the case study participants, the results were organized in categories: Practice which gives wisdom, Training for teaching, training in the content of Primary Care Implications of personal and family life to professional life teaching, reflections on their teaching training, modifications and confrontations along the way. The analysis confirmed the presence of most of the Pedagogical Content Knowledge Sources. However, we identified the absence of Education source in the subject to be taught, which revealed other sources such as self-learning and sharing knowledge with other teacher's colleagues. In addition to these results, we note that this methodology and theoretical framework contribute to the formation of own research participant (re) meaning your experience and practice
The criminal autobiography or the Antigone’s complaint
This comparison, between the subject held in prison following a psychotherapy treatment and the subject who writes about himself, will be the starting point to develop a wider reflection on clinical problems related to the incarcerated subjects, concerning certain relationships to law, crime and death. Through Freudian’s and Lacanian’s tools, the aim will then be to explain the blind tendency of « criminal » repetition and mortifying acting-out which is, paradoxically, ofen unleashed from a deep sense of justic
O ESPIRITISMO NAS TESES DA FACULDADE DE MEDICINA DO RIO DE JANEIRO
The text focuses on three doctorate's graduation theses defended between 1919 and 1929, in Rio de Janeiro's Medical School, where spiritism is presented as the main concern. Two of these theses fit perfectly in the institutional stand point, denying spiritism any familiarity, not only with religion, but also with science. In those theses, spiritism is reassured as an important factor of mental alienation. The third thesis represents a stand point completly contrary to the institution, in which the author tries to demonstrate the need for it to recognize the spiritist phenomena and the possibility of having some therapy focused on spiritism. KEY WORDS: Spiritism, mediumistic religions, medical-psychiatric speech. Lucan's Mutilated Voice: The Poetics of Incompleteness in Roman Epic
In this doctoral dissertation I seek to reassess the innovativeness of the young Corduban poet Lucan’s masterpiece, the Civil War. Faced with the abrupt closure of Lucan’s poem 546 lines into Book 10, I adopt the view propounded by Haffter, Masters and Tracy, that what most have taken as incompletion brought on by the poet’s premature death in 65 CE is in fact a deliberate artistic decision. I then argue back from this view and reread several key features of the poem as manifestations of the same deliberate bodily incompleteness, the same sudden mutilation of a voice that the ending of the poem as we have it presents. My dissertation consists of two macro-sections, one on the structural and thematic characteristics of Lucan’s Civil War, and one on the characterization of the two antagonists most actively involved in the conflict: Julius Caesar, himself the author of an incomplete prose account of the very civil war that Lucan chooses to focus on; and Pompey the Great, a broken man whose mangled body reproduces at the microcosmic level the lack of finish exhibited by the textual body of the poem itself

Abstract: This article aims to discuss the concept of text and the types of school children’s narratives according to Piaget's works of the third period (late 30s to late 50s), and present some initial data from the doctoral studies of the teacher researcher, conducted with pre-adolescent subjects who, in 2008, attended the 5th grade in a public municipal school in Porto Alegre. Data analysis of two girls leads to the following assumptions: for advancing in the subject’s cognitive abilities, reading and interpretation play a significant role in improving the capacity of decentration and hence the differentiation between what the author thinks, what he writes and how he uses the resources of writin in order to make himself understood. Keywords: Text; Written narratives; Coherence; Decentration.
