Effect of Different Strenght of Medium on Germination and Seedling Growth of Tomato and Sucrose Effect on Biomass of Tomato Callus
Bioactive compounds of plant cell culture extracts are currently being looked at for its potential for the development of nutraceutical products. Tomato callus is known to have cytoprotective activity. The availability for explants and its callus production are two important things. This paper reports the effect of different strengths of medium on seed germination and seedling growth of tomato cv. Permata and sucrose effects on their biomass callus. Seeds were grown on 4 kind of germination media. Hypocotyl were taken as explants for callus induction in MS medium supplemented by 2.0 mg/l BA and 0.2 mg/l NAA, 3% sucrose, and subcultured after 20 days on medium with 6 variations of sucrose. The highest values for tomato hypocotyl’s height were obtained from the ½ and ¼ MS, while the highest fresh weight was obtained from the MS 0. Both the fresh weight and dry weight of the callus increased along with increasing sucrose concentration. The explant age and biomass need to be a concern regarding what kind of callus that will be produced. Application of 5% sucrose concentration is recommended for callus production in this study
OPTIMASI DOSIS PEMUPUKAN UREA UNTUK PERTUMBUHAN VEGETATIF CABAI BESAR (Capsicum annuum L.) DALAM POT
Plants cultivated in pots face limitations in access to nutrients and water, as well as other growth-supporting factors, compared to those planted in the field. Therefore, understanding the plant\u27s response to the potted cultivation model warrants attention. This study aimed to determine the optimal dose of Urea fertilizer that supports the vegetative growth of large chili (Capsicum annuum). Large chili plants of the Panex F1 variety were sown for 28 days and then transplanted into treatment pots arranged in a Randomized Complete Block Design with 4 replications. The treatments consisted of varying urea doses: 0, 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9× the reference dose of 388.5 mg, equivalent to 0 – 3.497 g urea per plant. This fertilizer dose was split into 5 applications via watering over a 40-day growth period. The variables observed were plant height, number of leaves, and shoot dry weight. Analysis of variance results indicated that urea dose variations did not significantly affect plant height and number of leaves but had a highly significant effect on the shoot dry weight variable (p<0.01). Through quadratic regression model analysis (R2=0.305), the optimal urea fertilizer dose for large chili pepper was determined to be 3 grams per plant, with a predicted shoot dry weight of 2.42 grams. Effect of sugarcane filter cake-based organomineral fertilizers on sweet maize growth
Purpose: One of the primary wastes of the sugar industry that has the potential to be converted into fertilizer is filter cake. Organomineral fertilizer is proposed as a promising approach. Therefore, this research evaluated the efficiency of various filter cake-based organomineral formulations for sweet maize growth under different fertilization rates.Method: The treatments comprised of seven formulations of filter cake-based fertilizers (filter cake (F), biochar (B), organomineral filter cake, organomineral biochar (OB), organomineral filter cake + humic acid, organomineral biochar + humic acid, and conventional mineral fertilizer (M)) and four rates (40, 80, 120, and 160 kg N ha−1) based on the nitrogen (N) contents of each fertilizer. Furthermore, fertilizers applied to maize, and growth performance, nutrient use efficiency (NUE), and soil quality were assessed.Results: Maize fertilization using F, B, and OB at different rates resulted in the highest vegetative growth performance, NUE, and residual soil status. F fertilizer produced the optimal plant height, leaf area, and stem diameter for maize. The application of OB fertilizer was most efficient in N uptake, potassium uptake, and potassium recovery, demonstrating values of 42.56%, 91.8%, and 115.4%, respectively. B fertilizer provided a better residual of P (93.4%) than M and a higher organic matter content (224.7%) than the negative control. As per our findings, OB is the best treatment for increasing growth performance, NUE, and soil quality with an optimal dose of 0.96 t ha−1.Conclusion: Fertilization using OB has significantly improved sweet maize agronomic traits and soil qualit

The data is recorded manually in a book and then processed using Microsoft Excel. The condition of the financial system that is currently running at Akbid Sentra Bina Yudistira (SBY) makes it difficult for the administrative staff of the finance department to process administrative data. The author uses the waterfall software development method to make this application. By implementing a web-based information system, it can provide efficiency and the administrative system can run effectively. Training is required for the Admin before this system can be implemented so that the content in the website application can run according to its function

One of the long-term constraints in agricultural productivity is the dependence of farmers on synthetic pesticides. The application of pesticides has a negative impact on ecosystems and human health. Utilization of microorganisms such as bacteria Bacillus as a biological control agent is an alternative to reduce the use of synthetic pesticides. A simpler discussion of the interaction between Bacillus and plants is important to carry out. This article aims to review the mechanism of the role of Bacillus as a biological control agent and growth stimulant in plants. Bacillus is a genus of bacteria that can be used as biological control agents because it is adaptive, capable of forming endospores and tolerant of various environmental conditions. These properties are advantageous in competition with phytopathogens through an antibiosis mechanism in the form of toxin production. Bacillus infection of plants is able to stimulate the emergence of systemic resistance as an initial defense mechanism in plants. Bacillus associated with plants can provide a growth stimulation effect because the metabolites produced are able to trigger the sensitivity of the root system for nutrient absorption and stimulate the regulation of growth regulators such as the synthesis of auxin, gibberellins, and cytokinins. REPRESENTASI DAN NILAI KEARIFAN EKOLOGI PUISI “HUJAN BULAN JUNI” KARYA SAPARDI DJOKO DAMONO ( EKOKRITIK GREG GARRARD)
Abstract
Poetry is a representation of the author in expressing feelings, experiences and insights. Poetry is written or created by writers not to be read alone, but there are ideas, ideas, experiences, messages and criticisms to be conveyed to the reader. This research specifically aims to obtain a literary ecological criticism of Sapardi Djoko Damono's poem Hujan Bulan Juni which includes (1) How is nature represented in poetry? (2) What role can the physical setting (environment) play in the plot of a poem? (3) What are the values expressed in a poem? The theory used to analyze the poem is Greg Garrard's echocritic. Data analysis was carried out descriptively. The results of the analysis in the Hujuju Bulan Juni poem show that the author / writer dominates the use of diction with representations of nature, earth and plants. The author tries to explore ways on how to describe the relationship between humans, the environment, nature and plants so as to foster ecological values of human concern for protecting and preserving the environment, nature and plants.

Abstrak
Puisi merupakan suatu representasi penulis dalam mengungkapkan perasaan, pengalaman maupun wawasan. Puisi ditulis atau dicipkaan oleh sastrawan bukan untuk dibaca sendiri, melainkan ada ide, gagasan, pengalaman, amanat dan kritikan yang ingin disampaikan kepada pembaca. Penelitian ini secara khusus bertujuan untuk memperoleh kritik ekologi sastra puisi Hujan Bulan Juni karya Sapardi Djoko Damono yang meliputi (1) Bagaimana alam direpresentasikan dalam puisi? (2) Peranan apa yang dapat dimainkan oleh latar fisik (lingkungan) dalam alur sebuah puisi? (3) Apakah nilai-nilai yang diungkapkan dalam sebuah puisi Teori yang digunakan untuk menganalisis puisi tersebut adalah ekokritik Greg Garrard. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil analisi Pada puisi Hujuaan Bulan Juni menunjukkan bahwa pengarang/penulis mendominasi pengunaan diksi dengan representasi alam, bumi dan tumbuh-tumbuhan. Penulis mencoba mengeksplorasi cara-cara mengenai bagaimana menggambarkan hubungan antara manusia ,lingkungan,,alam dan tumbuh-tumbuhan sehinga menumbuhkan nilai-nilai ekologi kepedulian manusia untuk menjaga dan melestarika lingkungan, alam dan tumbuh-tumbuhan.

REKONSTRUKSI KONSEP KETAHANAN KELUARGA DALAM PERNIKAHAN PERJODOHAN (STUDI PASANGAN MUDA DI WILAYAH JAKARTA)
Nowadays, parents tend to give leeway to their children in choosing potential
partners. On the other hand, children also have their own preference criteria in
choosing a potential partner. The author found several young couples in Jakarta
who had arranged marriages. They can survive for years without any divorce. Their
family has also fulfilled the aspects that are benchmarks for a family to be
considered to have a high level of resilience.
The author is interested in researching what factors contribute to the
occurrence of arranged marriages among young people in Jakarta, how they run
their households so they can survive, and what Maqasid al-Usrah views on the
resilience of their families. This type of research is empirical research with
qualitative methods. This research is descriptive analytical and uses a
phenomenological sociological approach. The author used the family strenght
concept by Nick Stinnet and John DeFrain, as well as the Maqasid al-Usrah by
Jamaluddin 'Athiyyah. The primary data consists of statements from four arranged
marriage couples living in Jakarta. Secondary data consists of books, theses, articles
from scientific journals, and other sources related to the theme.
The author concludes that the factors behind the occurrence of arranged
marriages among young people in Jakarta are parental factors. The parents have a
sense of responsibility for their child's future so they want the best partner for them.
The interviewees also accepted the arranged marriage for relatively the same
reasons, they belief that the prospective partner approved by their parents was the
best. In running their households, they have six criteria consisting of 28 components
which are indicators that a family can be said to have resilience. Of the 28
components, there are several components that are less significant in one of the
interviewee's families. However, this does not reduce the resilience and harmony
of their family. Family resilience is greatly influenced by mental readiness, family
background and education. All components contained in the resource person's
concept of family resilience are in accordance with the Maqasid al-Usrah by
Jamaluddin 'Athiyyah. Advice for parents who match their children; should
consider the impact of arranged marriages on children because not all children can
accept and understand the good intentions of their parents. Therefore, the readiness
and mental maturity of children is something that must be prepared long before
planning an arranged marriage, even from a relatively young age. For married
couples who marry because they are arranged; they should enrich themselves and
their families with the family resilience criteria in this research to create family
resilience in the household. For unmarried youth; they should seek as much
knowledge as possible about marriage and the dynamics of building a household.
