    Affordable Fabric-Based Portable Soft Exoskeleton for Hand Grasping Assistance in Daily Activity

    Hand exoskeleton robots have been developed as rehabilitation robots and assistive devices. Based on the material used, they can be soft or right exoskeleton. Soft materials such as fabric can be used as a component of the wearable robot to increase comfortability. In this paper, we proposed an affordable soft hand exoskeleton based on fabric and motor-tendon actuation for hand flexion/extension motion assistance in daily activities. On-Off control and PI compensator were implemented to regulate the finger flexion and extension of the soft exoskeleton. The controllers were embedded into a microcontroller using Simulink software. The input signal command comes from the potentiometer and electromyography (EMG) sensor to drive the flexion/extension movement. Based on the experiments, the proposed controller successfully controlled the exoskeleton hand to facilitate a user in grasping various objects. The proposed soft hand exoskeleton is lightweight, comfortable, portable and affordable, making it easily manufactured using available hardware and open-source code. The developed soft exoskeleton is a potential assistive device for a person who lost the ability to grasp objects

This thesis discusses “Contrastive Analysis of abbreviation in Japanese Language and Indonesian Language”. The reason behind the choose of title by the author is due to lack of discussion about the comparasion between Japanese and Indonesian language. Furthermore, author had interested to discuss the form of abbreviation in bahasa Indonesia and Japanese language. The data in this research are attained from written sources, such as; internet articles from asahi.com and kompas.com. Whilst the method used in the analysis is “bagi unsur langsung”, later the data are analyzed by contrastive method to compared the data which are divide into two steps, those are description and and comparasion of the results of data analysis. Abbreviation of Japanese and Indonesian booth have 8 similarities, namely on booth have abbreviation who is not be read in its entirety, abbreviation who spell entirety, abbreviation who take 2, 3 or 4 first letters, abbreviation who take first letter from every syllables, abbreviation who had partial deletion, abbreviation who combine with foreign word, abbreviation with combination of syllables, and abbreviation who had changes in written form. The diffrences in meanwhile, abbreviation who are not found in Japanese language has 25 forms and abbreviation who are not found in Indonesian language has 2 forms. .     PEMANFAATAN LIMBAH PLASTIK MENJADI AGREGAT PADA MORTAR GEOPOLIMER

    Berbagai jenis plastik susah berkontaminasi dengan tanah yang juga dianggap limbah anorganik, yang sulit hancur dengan sendirinya. Solusi pemanfaatan limbah plastik dapat digunakan sebagai agregat beton. Metode yang digunakan yaitu eksperimental di laboratorium dengan membandingkan mortar geopolimer dan konvensional dalam variasi jumlah agregat plastik substitusi agregat alam. Pengaruh penambahan plastik  Pasta geopolimer menggunakan 3 varian molaritas 8M, 12M, 16M. Hasil pengujian kuat tekan beton didapatkan nilai kuat tekan tertinggi pada mortar geopolimer 12M dengan penambahan agregat kasar berupa limbah plastik sebanyak 15% pada umur 28 hari dengan dengan hasil kuat tekan sebesar 28,24 MPa. Kuat tekan yang dihasilkan pada mortar konvensional dan mortar geopolimer didapatkan semakin meningkat dengan bertambahnya umur pengujiannya. Pengaruh agregat plastik dapat mengikat lebih baik secara homogen pada mortar geopolimer dibanding dengan mortar konvensional

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mendiskripsikan Pengembangan Peta Wisata Taman Nasional Gunung Bromo Dalam Bahasa Jepang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan Research and Development (R&D) oleh Sugiyono (2015:407), sumber data diperoleh melalui literatur, pengolahan data pada peta menggunakan tahaptahap pembuatan peta tematik oleh Satria (2016:50), dan penerjemahan menggunakan metode penerjemahan komunikatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 17 objek wisata alam yang tersebar di sekitar wilayah taman nasional Gunung Bromo sebagai berikut: jemplang, bukit teletubies, bantengan, lautan pasir, pasir bersisik, pura luhur poten, gunung bromo, gunung widodaren, gunung batok, puncak pananjakan, bukit cinta, bukit kingkong, pananjakan 1, hutan edelwish, seruni point Probolinggo, mentigen hill, dan puncak B29. Selain itu hasil pemetaan Daerah Tujuan Wisata taman nasional Gunung Bromo terdiri dari data grafis dan atribut masing-masing objek wisata.     Characteristics of The New Material Geopolymer Binder Course Fly Ash and Bottom Ash

    Selection of concrete specifications is something that must be done according to needs. The use of concrete as a building material is efficiency and effectiveness in terms of processing and supply. The increase in fly ash and bottom ash waste will affect new innovations for new materials in construction. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of the new material geopolymer binder course fly waste and bottom ash whether it complies with standards and is suitable for use as a construction material or for making roads. This research was carried out experimentally in the laboratory to check whether the characteristics of the material used met the standards or not. The results obtained were that the best mixture for the new material was between (FA+BA) with a compressive strength of 5.15 MPa and (FA+PS) with a compressive strength of 25.6 MPa at 28 days old with a mixture composition of 1 : 1.5. As for the mixed wear value (FA+BA) has a wear value of 76% while (FA+PS) has 39% wear. The new material resulting from the wear level can be used as a base course material

    Lalu lintas merupakan aspek yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan bennasyarakat Pengaturan terkait lalu lintas yang paling utama ialah dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2009 Tentang Lalu Lintas Dan Angkutan Jalan. Salah satu yang diatur dalam Undang-Undang ini ialah mengenai kendaraan dengan hak utama. Konvoi komunitas motor yang m.ana clalam fakta di lapangan menerobos rambu lalu lintas dengan izin dari POLRI seringkali dianggap sebagai konvoi dengan hak utama sebagai mana diatur dalam UU LLAJ. Selain itu dalam konvoi komunitas motor tidak jarang menimbulkan kecelakaan lalu lintas yang melibatkan pengendara konvoi yang mendapat pengawalan dari POLRI. Dari latar belakang tersebut dapat ditarik dua rumusan masalah, yaitu Apakah pelanggaran lalu lintas oleh konvoi komunitas motor dengan hak utama merupakan perbuatan melawan hukum? Lalu bagaimana pertanggungjawaban pidana pelaku pelanggaran lalu lintas yang mengak:ibatkan kecelakaan lalu lintas oleh konvoi komunitas motor dengan hak utama? Dari penelitian yang telah dil~ dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa konvoi yang dima.ksud dalam ketentuan UU LLAJ ialah konvoi untuk kepentingan terten~ dimana kepentingan tersebut memerlukan penangan segera. Sedangkan konvoi komunitas motor bukan merupakan konvoi yang memerlukan penanganan segera. Izin yang diberikan oleh POLRI kepada konvoi untuk menerobos rambu lalu lintas sendiri meskipun cacat substansi karena bertentangan dengan ketentuan clalam UU LLAJ, masih dianggap sah selama belum ada pembatalan. Adapun jika clalam konvoi tersebut terjadi kecelakaan lalu lintas yang melibatkan pengendara konvoi sebagai pelaku, yang dapat dikenakan pertanggungjawaban pidana hanya pengendara konvoi yang terlibat kecelakaan dengan sanksi yang telah diatur dalam Undang Undang

Cyborg insects, which combine biological organisms with electronic components, offer a unique approach to tackle such challenges. This study presents a biohybrid behavior-based navigation (BIOBBN) system that enables cyborg cockroaches to navigate complex environments autonomously. Two navigation algorithms were developed: reach-avoid navigation for less complex environments and adaptive reach-avoid navigation for more challenging scenarios. This algorithm, especially the second one, leveraged the cockroaches’ natural behaviors, such as wall-following and climbing, to navigate around and over obstacles. Experiments in simulated environments, including sand and rock-covered surfaces, demonstrate the effectiveness of the BIOBBN system in enabling cyborg cockroaches to navigate and reach target locations. The denser second scenario required more time due to increased obstacle avoidance and natural climbing behavior. Overall performance was promising, highlighting the potential of biohybrid navigation for autonomous cyborg insects in navigating complex environments

    Psikologi Komunikasi Sebagai Pendekatan Fase Adaptasi di Era Pasca Covid-19

    The post-Covid-19 era is marked by all social activities having resumed. However, the new era poses problems for the students of Islamic boarding schools who have to re-adapt after a long period of studying at home (online). This research elaborates the re-adaptation phase and the communication approach implemented by the students of the Islamic boarding school. The research uses an explanatory qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Sources of data were obtained from six students of the Thoriqul Huda Islamic Boarding School. The results showed that the re-adaptation phase included; honeymoon, crisis, recovery and adjustment. The adaptation phase is running again effectively by using a communication psychology approach in the recovery phase.   Era pasca Covid-19 ditandai dengan seluruh kegiatan dan aktivitas sosial sudah berjalan kembali. Namun era baru menimbulkan permasalahan bagi santri pondok pesantren yang harus melakukan adaptasi kembali setelah lama belajar di rumah (online). Penelitian ini mengelaborasi fase adaptasi kembali dan pendekatan komunikasi yang di implementasikan santri pondok pesantren. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif eksplanatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Sumber data diperoleh dari enam santri Pondok Pesantren Thoriqul Huda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan fase adaptasi kembali meliputi; honeymoon, crisis, recovery dan adjustment. Fase adaptasi kembali berjalan secara efektif dengan menggunakan pendekatan psikologi komunikasi pada fase pemulihan (recovery).
