Accuracy assessment for satellite based augmentation system [SBAS] at open area and multipath area / Muhammad Arifuddin Safei
No full textWide Area DGNSS is one of the types of Differential Global Navigation Satellite System (DGNSS). It consists of a network of a GPS receivers across a region that handled centrally by a server. The differential correction then been sent from the server to the consumer via radio, satellite or wireless communication. Satellite Based Augmentation System (SBAS) is one the system that use this technique. This research was conducted with aim to compare is to compare the accuracy of Satellite Base Augmentation System (SBAS) at multipath area and wide area. This research was conduct to determine the data correction consistency given by SBAS, to analyse the accuracy of positioning data using differential correction of SBAS and to determine the classification of differential correction data referring to IHO minimum standards table.Data acquisition was conducted by using Hemisphere receiver VS330 and antenna A43at open area and multipath area on 26th May 2020 and 20th June 2020 respectively for four hours of observation. After that, data were filtered to remove unreliable data recorded. Statistical analysis was done to support the comparison of positioning data which is descriptive analysis, T Test analysis, horizontal error analysis, vector distance analysis and normal distribution graph. As the result of T Test analysis show that open area data recorded in 95% confidence level with the lower value of difference is -0.002meter and the upper value is 0.002 meter while for multipath area, the data recorded based on 95% confidence level with the lower value of difference is -0.005 meter and the upper value is 0.005 meter. As a conclusion, the continuity of positioning data given by SBAS in northern part of Malaysia are good and position given by SBAS at both areas can be classify as Special Order based on classification table by International Hydrographic Organisation

No full textThis research aims to identify the character education values contained in the book Washaya al-Aba' li al-Abna Muhammad Syakir and the role of his opinion on the richness of character education values. It is hoped that this research can be used as a source or reference in efforts to develop education and character as a whole, especially character education according to Islam. It can also be used as a reference to facilitate understanding of character education and as a reference for relevant research in the future. This research method is qualitative and uses a narrative biography method. By using a descriptive presentation approach, this autobiography of the character's thoughts combines the ideas of character education from his work. Library research, or library research, is a research method that involves books, articles, notes and electronic media. with primary sources from the book Washaya al Aba Li al-Abna and secondary sources from study books. In this research, data collection was carried out through the documentation method, which includes searching for data through variables such as notes, books, and articles, among others. The author used a content analysis study to analyze the data; they analyzed the data textually based on the contents of the book. The research results show that the book Washaya al Aba Li al-Abna contains 17 educational character values, divided into two categories: 10 character values fall into the moral category and 7 character values fall into the performance category. Faith and piety, love and obedience to the Messenger of Allah, respect for parents, respect for teachers, truth or honesty, nobility or self-respect, patience, sincerity and a simple life are moral characters. Performance characteristics also include trust, discipline, hard work, never giving up, love of the country, interest in reading or literacy knowledge, and concern for the environment
Spatiotemporal trends of forest cover change in Southeast Asia

The current state of tropical forest cover and its change have been identified as key variables in modelling and measuring the consequences of human action on ecosystems. The conversion of tropical forest cover to any other land cover (deforestation) directly contributes to the two main environmental threats of the recent past: 1) the alteration of the global climate by the emission of carbon to the atmosphere and 2) the decline in tropical biodiversity by land use intensification and habitat conversion. The sub-continent of Southeast Asia exhibits one of the highest rates of forest loss and comprises one of the regions with the highest amount and diversity of flora and fauna species, worldwide. The knowledge of the spatial and temporal trends in the variation of forest cover in tropical regions is a prerequisite for the development and establishment of mitigation strategies from the global to the regional level. However, there is considerable disagreement in recent estimates of tropical forest cover change ranging from continuing and intensified decline in forest loss to a distinct decrease in deforestation rates and up to stagnation in other cases. Against this background, the present study aims at a review and comparison of recently available global forest cover estimates for the region of Southeast Asia. In a case study, the results at the national level will be compared to an analysis at the regional level for the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia. The outcome of the study provides recommendations for future remote sensing based forest assessments in tropical regions
