A Modest Requiem for Leli is a work I was commissioned to write in 2016 for All Souls
Night, recited during an event organised by Heritage Malta, which took place in the
former Palace of the Inquisition, an eerie and chilling place that housed the Roman
Inquisition in the 16th and 17th century (Heritage Malta 2016). The event was meant as
a counter to the recent enthusiasm with Halloween, a phenomenon that has swept
through many European countries, including Malta. In response to what many refer to
as “the Americanization of our calendar,” there has been a rise in the organization of
initiatives and events that include old and long-time defunct traditions, which are more

Implementasi Layanan Inovasi Samsat Keliling dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Pelayanan Pembayaran Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor (Studi pada Kantor Bersama Samsat Kabupaten Tulungagung)
The rapid number of motor in Tulungagung demanding SAMSAT Call Center as public service providers always strive to provide quality service to taxpayers. One of the efforts is increasing in vehicle tax payment service through SAMSAT mobile service innovation. This research is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The purpose of this study is to investigate application of SAMSAT mobile service innovation, supporting and obstacle factors of SAMSAT mobile service innovation, as well as the rate of growth in cash receipts of SAMSAT mobile service innovation. The results of this study indicates SAMSAT mobile service innovation has been in accordance with Decree of the Minister of Adminidtrative Reform No. 63/KEP/M-PAN/7/2003 in General Guidelines for the Implementation of Public Service. Supporting factors consisting of socialization, cooperation with related units and service locations while the obstacle factors consist of the awareness of the taxpayers, facilities and infrastructure as well as the limited range of the service and the average growth rate of cash receipts 110,72%

KEPRIBADIAN TOKOH UTAMA PADA CERPEN RUSMI INGIN PULANG KARYA AHMAD TOHARI
Karya sastra lahir di tengah masyarakat sebagai hasil imajinasi dan kreatifitas pengarang, serta refleksinya terhadap gejala sosial yang terdapat di lingkungan sekitar lingkungan pengarang. Penelitian sastra dan analisis sastra berfungsi untuk memahami dan menjelaskan maksud-maksud cerita yang sebenarnya, serta mengapa cerita itu terjadi. Ada berbagai pendekatan yang digunakan untuk mengkaji karya sastra tesebut sesuai dengan bidang dan kajian yang dibahas. Kemudian untuk menginterpretasi karya sastra dalam bentuk cerpen yang terpenting adalah pendekatannya yaitu pendekatan segi intrinsik, sebab pendekatan atau penilaian terhadap karya sastra sering pula bergantung pada interpretasi. Ilmu-ilmu bantu yang lain yang dimaksud adalah ilmu yang ada hubungannya dengan ilmu sastra, yang diantaranya yaitu psikologi (ilmu jiwa). Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana bentuk kepribadian tokoh utama dalam cerpen Rusmi Ingin Pulang karya Ahmad TohariPendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian cerpen Rusmi Ingin Pulang disini adalah pendekatan pendekatan objektif psikologi sastra. Pendekatan objektif ini membatasi diri pada penelaahan karya sastra itu sendiri, terlepas dari unsur ekstrinsik yaitu pengarang dan pembaca. Hasil penelitian dilakukan dengan pengambilan data berupa kutipan dan menganalisisnya berdasarkan tujuh kategori kepribadian tokoh utama dalam cerpen Rusmi Ingin Pulang karya Ahmad Tohari.Literary work was born in the midst of society as a result of the imagination and creativity of the author, as well as his reflection on social phenomena contained in the environment around the author's environment. Literary research and literary analysis function to understand and explain the true purpose of the story, and why the story happened. There are various approaches used to study the literary work according to the field and study discussed. Then to interpret literary works in the form of short stories the most important is the approach that is the intrinsic approach, because the approach or assessment of literary works often also depends on interpretation. Other auxiliary sciences referred to are the sciences that have to do with literary science, including psychology (psychology). The problem in this study is how the personality of the main character in the short story of Rusmi Want to Go Home by Ahmad Tohari The approach used in the research of Rusmi Want Short story here is an objective approach to literary psychology. This objective approach limits itself to the study of literary work itself, apart from the extrinsic element that is the author and the reader. The results of the study were carried out by taking data in the form of quotes and analyzing them based on the seven personality categories of the main characters in the short story of Rusmi Want Home by Ahmad Tohari
CONSTRUCTION OF RECIPROCAL VERBS IN ANGKOLA BATAK LANGUAGE
This research aims to analyze the syntactic aspects of reciprocal verb construction in the Angkola Batak language (ABl) using binding theory. A qualitative method with a descriptive approach is used in this research. Data were collected through literature study and the author\u27s intuition as a native speaker, then analyzed by agih method and presented informally and formally. The result of the research identifies the formation process of reciprocal verbs in ABl through affixation, affixation+reduplication, and affixation+the word "saling". The characteristics of reciprocal verbs in ABl include intransitive nature, can be followed by the constituent "each other", requires the presence of subject-filling nouns or human complements, and belongs to the category of telic verbs. This study concludes that the binding theory can be applied to analyze the construction of reciprocal verbs in the Angkola Batak language, showing the validity of this theory in the analysis of regional languages. The contribution of this research lies in the documentation and understanding of the grammatical aspects of the Angkola Batak language

Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan adalah peningkatan pelayanan pembayaran Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor melalui layanan inovasi SAMSAT Keliling. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan layanan inovasi SAMSAT Keliling, faktor pendukung dan penghambat layanan inovasi SAMSAT Keliling serta laju pertumbuhan penerimaan kas layanan inovasi SAMSAT Keliling. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan layanan inovasi SAMSAT Keliling telah sesuai dengan Keputusan Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara No. 63/KEP/M-PAN/7/2003 tentang Pedoman Umum Penyelenggaraan Pelayanan Publik. Faktor pendukung terdiri dari sosialisasi, kerjasama pihak terkait serta lokasi pelayanan sedangkan yang menjadi faktor penghambat terdiri dari kesadaran Wajib Pajak, sarana dan prasarana serta keterbatasan layanan selanjutnya rata-rata laju pertumbuhan penerimaan kas sebesar 110,72%. Experiences of Timorese language teachers in a blended Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) for Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
This paper details the experiences of a group of Timorese English language teachers from Lorosa’e English Language Institute (LELI) in Dili, Timor-Leste, who participated in a professional development MOOC entitled Teaching for Success: Lessons and Teaching between March and April 2017. Drawing on the pedagogical principles of blended learning; participants engaged with online course content, and once a week met as a study group to view some video content together and discuss issues arising from it. The authors draw on participant observation, individual and focus group interviews and post-course author reflections to outline the benefits and challenges of doing blended MOOCs in Dili, and propose that they can provide local English language teachers opportunities for subject area knowledge building, language literacy development and more general lifelong learning.</p
OPTIMALISASI QARDH Al-HASAN PADA LEMBAGA KEUANGAN SYARIAH
Islamic financial institutions function to manage collected funds. The contract contains tijaarah (business) and taÔÇÖabbud (helping each other). The contract of agreement in a transaction produces profits in the form of fees (for services), margins (for sale and purchase profits), and profit sharing (for cooperation). However, in addition to the tijarah contract, sharia financial institutions also regulate cultural value contracts in the form of transactions called qardh hasan. This contract will slightly alleviate the communityÔÇÖs life needs. Sometimes the contract is not so optimally visible in sharia financial institutions to communities that are in desperate need, so that peopledominantly choose loans to money-lenders. Moving on from this phenomenon, the author is interested in discussing it related to the implementation of qardh hasan in optimally touching the people who really need it. The method is used is an inductive and deductive ones so as to draw general conclusions
PENGARUH BUDAYA ORGANISASI DAN KOMPENSASI TERHADAP MOTIVASI KERJA SERTA IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP KINERJA GURU
Organization is the most important asset that should be owned by companies or institutions and is considered by management is the human assets of the organization.Significance of human resources efforts empties from the fact that people (humans) is an element that is always present in every organization. They make the goal, holding innovation, and achieve organizational objectives.The theory is used as a reference by the author is presented by Stephen P Robbins (2006: 725). That, would Organizational Culture "Facilitate the emergence of commitment". This implies, if the organizational culture in the school is conducive, then the entire school community will be with full awareness, sincere and honest work for the benefit and success of the school.
This study aims to determine the influence of organizational culture on work motivation and Teacher Compensation and the implications for teacher performance. The method used in this research is descriptive and verification method, which is to get a picture of the actual conditions that exist in the research and proving hypotheses about the relationship of research variables: Cultural Organization, Compensation, Motivation and Performance Master.
From a sample of 74 people obtained results showed that the path analysis, path analysis results show that, in partial effect on Organizational Culture Work Motivation Teacher, at 9.18% and partially shows the compensation effect on work motivation of 19.18%; while simultaneously Cultural Organization and Compensation effect on work motivation Master, at 46.36%; While the results of simple regression analysis showed that the influence of Work Motivation Teacher to Teacher performance of 47.47%.
Based on the above it can be concluded, that the management of human resources need to pay attention Organizational Culture, Compensation and employee motivation because it will affect employee performance both directly and indirectly, will also affect the quality and productivity of the institution.
